The Bee Hunter, Central Mass

I called The Bee Hunter and he was able to remove the nest the same day! He guarantees his work, but I doubt I will have to call him for a "do over." The yellow jackets are gone. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others and will call him again myself if the need arises.

Rusty sprayed both inside the wall cavity and from outside to take care of the yellow jackets entering the house. We still had some residual activity after a week so he promptly came back a 2nd time (no additional cost) to take care of it. It appears to be solved! Rusty is very responsive and and knows what to do. Highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Rusty Dillon. I bought a special through Angies list. Rusty contacted me by email within a day. He came out at my convenience to treat the bees within 2 days. He was very professional and explained thoroughly what to expect in the next week. He also has a guarantee through the rest of the year and told me he would come back to treat again if needed.

when we discovered the nest, we realized it was much too big to consider tackling ourselves. (about the size of a beach ball). it was also in the trees, about 10' high. because it was near our deck, we thought it would be best to have it removed. many services wouldn't come out since it was in the trees, and they suggested we call a tree company. tree companies don't have the gear to suit up to remove anything bee-related. fortunately since i knew the name of the critter, i did a google search and a few places came up. non answered, but i did like the message on the bee hunter's voice mail, so i left a message. he called me back about an hour later, and explained the entire process of what he would do. when i agreed to have him come out, he said he would call me in the morning and give me a 15 minute window when he would arrive, and gave me an estimate (without seeing anything) with in $150 - $200 range. the next morning, rusty called, gave me the 15 minute time frame, and arrived on time, ready to go. while showing him where the nest was, he was very knowledgeable and it was fascinating learning more about these critters. with the kids home, he suggested we watch from the screened in porch or window upstairs. not because of the chemicals, but because the wasps would be angry. after he suited up, he climbed atop his ladder, and very carefully and very precisely punctured the nest with the chemicals via a straw, so there was no spray floating around. he covered the opening of the nest with a cloth, and patiently sprayed and waited until it was safe to stop. then he carefully cut the nest away, and brought it down from the ladder in his arms. he showed us the nest from the basement window and let us see inside. it was fascinating! when complete, he explained that we should stay away from the area until the next morning, not because of the chemicals, but because the wasps may still be looking for the nest. and he explained that they should be gone by friday, and if not he will come back. after i paid him, he gave me a copy of the 6 month warranty. a pleasure to hire the bee hunter, and we would definitely hire him again.

Rusty was friendly, professional, punctual and overall did a fantastic job! The price was much less than Terminex or Orkin wanted to charge also.

Rusty was very professional. He answered the phone at 8am and was able to come out the same day by 11am. He removed the nest and treated the area to prevent return of the yellow jackets with a guarantee through the end of the year that they wouldn't return.

Does very good work on stinging insects.

He suited up and sprayed into the sofit. The bees did fly around him. If I see any activity after week, he will return for free.

I called Rusty on 6/24/15 he came out.on 6/25 to access the situation. Then he got into.his protective gear and began to treat the area where the yellow jackets were nesting. Rusty was fantastic. Extremely responsive, quick to call me back and set up an appointment, excellent communication and obviously expert in his field. We had a problem with carpenter bees looking to get into the eaves under our roof. Rusty called me back immediately, set up an appointment for 2 days later, arrived on time, explained my options and offered to treat right then and there. His rate was excellent, he offered the Angies discount and he was the only technician of those I called that had the "right" equipment for the job. Rusty had the ability to apply the treatment without the use of ladders which in my mind offered a great advantage. I called some other very well regarded companies but none of them had equipment which could reach the upper eaves of my house without the use of ladders which made the job super easy with no liability and extremely efficient. There are no signs of bees any more but if they come back Rusty (like other companies) will come out free of charge till the end of the year to reapply. Well, I have to say that we had a difficult problem and it's not clear that Bee company's one visit completely solved the problem, because the first frost came soon afterward and the wasps died off. After he sprayed, the number of wasps diminished steadily from about 6 per day to 1 or 2 per day, then 1 or 2 every few days. Then the frost came. I have no reason to doubt the expertise of the Bee Guy and that he would honor his guarantee (which was until the end of 2014). If the wasps reappear in the spring I think we need to find the source of the invasion. I would definitely call him again, he was great to deal with, answered all questions, returned calls promptly.

I would recommend The Bee Hunter unconditionally and would use again should the need arise.

There was no charge since he didn't find a nest. Although he wasn't successful in tracking down the source, he offered to spray the basement exterior for free so that if the wasps had found a gap to enter through, they would pick up the chemical.

My wife and I noticed Yellow Jackets buzzing around the underside of you 4 season porch and before we knew it we had the little buggers everywhere. They had slipped through a small seam between the exterior plywood under the porch which covered the floor insulation and were able to very quickly establish a hive nicely protected by the insulation / plywood barrier. There was too many for me to fight and traditional sprays were ineffective as I could not get the spray inside past the barrier. I contacted the Bee Hunter as he was the only one who responded to my call for help. We spoke on Tuesday, he came by on Thursday to check out the area, bees gone on Saturday. What else can I say about the Bee Hunter, he even let us video the job just because my wife thought he looked like a spaceman in his protective clothing, we of course shot the video from inside the house. He arrived as scheduled, checked out the site and set to work. He fully guaranteed the extermination and would have returned had the wasps returned. Fortunately we did not need to use the warranty. We were so pleased that we referred him to our son. When he arrived at their home, there was a severe thunderstorm and he made arrangements to return the next day. Again, he was there early in the morning and with the same positive results.

Rusty came to our house twice in the span of a week to take care of two separate bee issues (one was yellow jackets, the other was wasps). He was very thorough and explained what the problem was, how he was going to fix it, and why. He came on last minute notice (on a Saturday to boot) on both occasions, which was great for us since my husband and I both work. Within 30 minutes, I had a response to my question about the geographic areas he services and that he would be in my area the next day.
