Brad arrived and assessed the situation. He described the repair (installation of a stainless steel tube inside the chimney) and emailed a quote with accompanying photos of the view from the roof down and at the bottom. He said he had several installations lined up and wasn't sure when those would be cleaned up. Fortunately for me, he had a cancellation and was able to do the work. This was done in February with snow on the roof. I was pleased at the professionalism and speed of repair.

Brad was professional, communicative, and warm from the initial phone call through the follow up. He thoroughly explained how to clean the stove and spent extra time answering questions. He was extremely informative, respectful and helpful. Service provided was clean, timely and detailed. Overall an unexpectedly great service experience!

From the first point of contact, when Brad drove over 30 miles to my house to give me a free estimate, to when Brad put the finishing touches on installing the wood stove, I honestly could not have been happier. He gave an accurate estimate, was more than happy to work within our budget, and did beautiful work on our chimney. When the wood stove company did a shoddy job installing a custom surround around the stove, Brad drove all the way back and fixed it himself - and refused payment! Why? Because he wanted our complete satisfaction. And this was when his wife just had a baby! At the outset, he emphasized how he wanted the job done right - and done right the first time. I am really happy we went with Kiwi Chimney and he has a customer for life.

Brad is a trustworthy person who is willing to work with customer. He did a great job installing a new custom chimney liner. professional clean work. He also cleaned my pellet stove.

They were very friendly, professional, and worked into the evening to get the job done on time. They did a more thorough job than a company we had out a month before and they pointed out that there was a lot of creosote build up missed. They ran into an issue with the ash door installation because we have a weird chimney that doesn't go all the way to the ground. They fixed the miscalculation with no additional cost to us and it looks great. We discussed installing a new liner and repairing some of the stone at the peak of our chimney in the spring. We look forward to working with them again!

It was such a wonderful surprise to me that the damper didn't need repair, that Brad showed me how to fix it in the future and refused payment!!! Am I going to use him exclusively for any fireplace/chimney repairs? You bet I am!!!! He is the nicest and clearly most honest repairman I've met. And he knows his stuff, too!! The initial call was returned promptly by the office and then by the owner. He made an appointment for an estimate and was on time for the scheduled visit. He spent about a hour with my husband explaining the options and describing the work he would do. My husband found Brad (the owner) to be very knowledgeable, professional, and honest about what was needed vs. most desirable. We got 2 other estimates-the other person who we felt was honest had about the same price. But, Brad spent more time and my husband really felt comfortable hiring him. We had to schedule the work for several weeks later because he was booked, but we weren't in a rush. His office maintained contact about the timing and moved our job up a week when his schedule allowed. I emailed Brad before the work to get proof of his insurance coverage and he responded promptly and had his agent send it the following AM. The day of the work, Brad's team showed up exactly on time and they finished as planned the following day. We have high standards for contractors and always check Angie's list before hiring someone. I can see why Kiwi has good reviews. Brad obviously runs a very professional company. The chimney looks great. Very straight, clean, etc. I assume it will work great. Brad called the following day to make sure that we were happy with how everything looked. The job site was well cleaned overall. Some mortar in the grass, and some mortar residue on the sunroom roof glass from the water pouring over it, but otherwise no evidence of the crew.

We were installing a new oil burner in the home and needed a liner. The company who installed the boiler recommended Kiwi Chimney and set up the install for the same day that the boiler was being worked on. This was very easy because I already was having people in my house working so it made it easy to do everything at once. They left a packet of information and warrentee information for me at the house as I was not home when the work was done. Everything was left nice and neat. No complaints.

Brad is very professional, knowledgeable and an all around great guy. His inspection uncovered some additional work that needed to be done as it appeared I had had a chimney fire. He also found a couple of minor things that could be replaced. He gave me a quote on the entire job. He suggested a plan of action to do the big things first and worry about the smaller things down the road. He wasn't out just trying to make a buck. I would definitely use Kiwi Chimney in the future as I was very happy with the chimney sweep.

Came on time, confirmed phone quote after inspecting the chimney, avoided the usual scam of pointing out repairs needed, did the work quickly, and cleaned up after.

They tore my chimney down to the roof line, replaced the brick and liner along with new lead flashing. After two days for the mortar to set, they came back and sealed/waterproofed the chimney. They installed the cap the following day. The chimney looks great. Ernie Jette

He did a very good job. He did a thorough inspection on it. Those guys derive some business from finding things wrong with your chimney and he did. There was integrity in it. It was obviously an opportunity to make money with someone who's not gonna be up there but he actually sent me pictures of what my chimney looked like. He provided me additional information. He did a good job on scheduling. He came first for the free inspection and quoting of the chimney cap and then arranged a time, came back, built out the chimney cap and put it on. He has a very good pricing.

The job went great. They reviewed every part of it with me and took the time to check with me about where the equipment and supplies would be stored. I would highly recommend them.

Kiwi Chimney Services were very good. My chimney was done poorly previously, so they went in there and fixed it. Their customer service level was good, they told me what needed to be done and what was going to happen at every step of the way. When they came out to give me the estimate they were thorough and, when they came to do the work, they were incredibly thorough, they made sure that everything was clean after they were done.
