Beth was a great resource throughout the pre-sale process. She came highly recommended by my real estate agent. Beth met with me at our townhouse and went through the whole property, inside and out. In each room, she recommended both things to do and things that I didn't need to do. She was very clear that she would only recommend things that would actually add value to the home and increase the selling price. After our initial consultation, Beth emailed me a comprehensive list of what she recommended we have done to the townhouse, complete with paint color/numbers for the walls. I had some medical problems during the process and Beth stepped up to the plate, giving me multiple suggestions for contractors and working with me to make sure that the work was completed in a timely manner. She worked with my chosen contractor, making decisions about flooring and countertops when I was not easily able to do so. Once the renovations were completed, Beth did a fabulous job putting the finishing touches on the staging job, using her own furniture, pictures, and bath/kitchen items. Our townhouse was listed on a Friday and we had multiple offers within a few days. We finally accepted an offer that was above our asking price! When we first brought Beth into the picture, we were looking to put our townhouse on the market for around $125K. After approximately $10K of work done on Beth's recommendation, our townhouse sold for slightly over $150K! A very sound return on our investment, thanks to Beth!
Description of Work: Initial consultation ($250) - we walked through the property, room by room, and Elizabeth gave me her recommendations on what should be done to prepare the property for sale. She also sent me an email with a list of her recommendations. She was very available during the renovation process to recommend tradespeople and give advice. Once renovations were complete, she spent time on the property, placing furniture and decorating the property to present the best visual image for selling. She used her own items (included in the price), since we had already moved out of the property.
