Process was great, Brad came in and looked at the place, gave us good ideas immediately and followed up with a quote right away. Wasn't able to start for a couple weeks (they appear to be pretty busy, good sign) but was in contact the entire team giving us ideas on furniture etc. so that we could do other things in parallel. When the painting started they were great, their estimate was right in line with what they delivered and they cleaned up the place nicely after each day. Attention to detail was great, this is an old loft and they redid all the trim, windows, etc. along with rooms that had lots of difficult pipes and vents and timber beams. Overall a great team to work with. Price seemed relatively high compared to our expectations at the beginning of the process, but we are very satisfied that it was worth it now that it's done.

Contacted to discuss a bathroom design to include wallpaper. Discussed project for approx 30 mins by phone; arranged an in-home appt with owner for following week; time to be determined by return phone call from owner 2 days prior to appt at owner's request (he had to coordinate with wife's day off). No phone call recvd 2 days prior; I called the day before appt to determine time; no return phone call. Called day of scheduled appt to determine time; no return phone call. Never heard from company again. A waste of my time.

Our experience was great! Brad & Ben are both very professional and completely trustworthy. Brad came out to our initial estimate 30 minutes early--and used the T for energy efficiency reasons. He was brimming with enthusiasm about the same architectural details in our new house that we were, and had a lot of good suggestions for colors. He had the estimate out to us by .pdf the same day, which we really appreciate. When we got the estimate, the price for the 1st floor and 1 room upstairs was a little high compared to the price of the whole house, and we wanted to hire them but wanted to postpone. After talking with his partner, Brad came back with a revised offer that would allow us to do the downstairs "public" areas that was extremely competitive, and given the amount of work they eventually put in probably too low. Once we decided on them, Brad & Ben came out a second time and helped with color selection. They guided us from our vague ideas to some FANTASTIC color choices, and made suggestions for fun, eye-catching touches in each room. They were more than willing to use low VOC paints, which was important to us. They then offered to start our job (estimated at 6 days) within the week, which floored us! They frequently got started pretty early - 8-8:30am - and worked steadily. During the process, they interacted with us frequently and took / made suggestions for a better look. They cleaned up after themselves daily, and at the end they mopped up the floors throughout to get rid of all the sanding dust, etc. (Nice touch, guys! I would have flipped otherwise!) When we first started, we had patchy ceilings because we had old fluorescent tube lights by the previous owners. We took them down and installed ceiling medallions, and they did the rest. As the ceilings were finishing, we knew we had contractors with some fantastic workmanship. (How often do you fall in love with your ceilings?!?) During the job, we managed to remove a series of deadbolts from the interior doors (!), and plugged them with new wood--Brad and Ben sanded, puttied, primed and painted, and you can't tell that the doors were touched!! Then we waited with anticipation for the colors to go up, and they were well worth the wait. Every day we'd come home from work to find more and more progress, with the same high quality workmanship. Since the house was unoccupied, Brad even came in on a Saturday to do some more work, and more progress was made. They finished up the final touches on Work Day 12, but that was totally fine with us. They had been doing S End condos up to this point, and had underestimated the time for a place our size with so many details. I'm sure next time they'd bring in more of their team, and have a better time estimate. All in all, you can see the quality from the pictures. A great experience--when we've saved up again, we're calling them back to do the upstairs, too!
