Absolutely fabulous! Beyond my expectations. Tony immediately responded to my request for an estimate and provided a very clear contract of all the services he would provide. Tony and his crew actually showed up a bit early ? imagine that! Artistic Landscapes not only completed the work on time, well done but was also well prepared and extremely pleasant to deal with. Artistic Landscapes is one most professional landscaping companies I have ever worked with.

I called artistic landscaping to get an estimate for lansdcape design as well as putting in lighting. Tony was ver responsive came by on time and I was told he was going to to give me an estimate. I never heard back from him (its been > 4 months) and my motto is if I have to track you down to get an estimate then you must not need the work. I went with Doucette landscaping instead.

I have had a fantastic experience with them. They come in a couple of times in the year.

His reviews were good, that was the reason I called him. Unfortunately he didn't show up for the meeting and didn't gave me a courtesy call.

Fabulous overall - Tony is an exceptionally customer focused and down right friendly businessman. I was especially pleased with the fact that he routinely followed up in the evening hours to ensure that the lighting was as effectivie during "working" hours as promised. Most landscapers, I would guess, would do their job during the day perhaps to not return during off hours to see if it presented itself as attractively as both you and they would have liked.

Tony is simply a fabulous person to do business with. Very, very customer focused! Followed up multiple times in the evening hours after the initial installation to ensure the lighting was beautiful as advertised. Tony changed our bulbs as well as after a wk as I decided I wanted brighter lighting by the foundation - no extra charge. The lighting provides a nice subtle highlighting to our home - very beautiful. You will not be disappointed in the service level you receive! Thanks again Tony!!

The owner came and walked our property and said he would get us an estimate. He was very nice and we liked him so we went with him. Well, the estimate came in at about $1500.00 for the clean-up, ~500 for the tress to be pulled and (this is where he got us) an hourly rate for time spent after the first day. We were of the understanding that the clean up, trimming and rocks would take a day. However, he either underestimated the amount of work our yard would require or he lowballed us to get the job and then used the "hourly rate" language in the contract to up the price by 50%. He showed up the first day as he said he would, but then he or his crew didn't show up for about another week and then it was only for a couple of hours to pick up some branches that they left from the first day. Another week went by and the whole crew showed up to finish the clean up, but when they left for the final time, they left a mess behind. They left a pile of rocks and a pile of leaves behind a tree where they couldn't be seen until I went to mow the yard and they left a pile branches next to the street where it could of been seen form the front door. They did not trim any of the bushes as agreed upon. And I will say that I didnt even ask for them to come back and do it because it was just easier and quicker for me to do. Also - after the first day, we ask him to estimate the cost for the clean-up of the back yard. He priced at $1000 (plus the hourly language). We got a second estimate from another company (Jeff HEad from Chickadee Hill also in Rowley) and he came in at half the cost. All of his crew were nice, but overall, I won't use him again.

Tony was very prompt in returning my call. Even though he could not complete the work for several weeks he was still willing to come out and give my an estimate

The individual from Artistic Landscapes came to assess my landscape and discuss my landscaping project. He was on time for the assessment and acted professionally. We walked the property and talked about ideas and his approach to the job. He said he would get me an estimate within a week and we could go from there. He failed to follow up with me or provide an estimate.. it's 5 months later. For someone who is rated an A on Angie's List, that is unacceptable.

Selection made from competive bids; references for similar work were good. Various ideas were discussed and then translated to initial cost estimates, fhich a final design was determined. With final design, a final not to exceed cost was settled and work schedule. Work began, progressed and was completed within defined schedule, with some weather delay allowed and built into the schedule. Results exceeded our expectations with excellent visual impact , and easy to maintain. We have enaged for another round of work elsewhere on the propoerty- the primary rule of good business "the reward for good work, is more work"!

They were very informative on exactly what they were going to do. They delivered everything they said they were going to and did it all in a timely manner. They are a good quality company and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are very happy with the work that Artistic Landscape has done to our backyard. The work that needed to be done to our back yard was a little more complicated to the landscape work that people would do to their backyard. A large area of our backyard is right on the boulder and there were trees and weeds in the area. It was very unappealing when we first moved in. We starting contacting people to give us idea and quotes on the work that needs to be done to our yard. Then we narrowed down to two landscape company, which Artistic Landscape is one one them. Although pricing wise, Artistic may appear to be more expensive than the other competitor, we ended up choosing Artistic. One of the reasons is, in Artistic's quote, Tony gave you every single detail of the work that will be done and the materials that will be used whereas most of the other competitors just give a few sentences on the work and the amount. To a non-expert, i think it really helps because you learn and know what is happening before you sign the contract. The final number maybe higher but Tony is doing a lot more work and material compared other company to get the same goal. An analogy would be, you can buy a ok bag on the street that will last couple seasons or you can buy a higher quality one that might last lifetime. Both are bags, just want kid of quality you one. Another reason why we went with Artistic is that Tony is very nice, hardworking, and responsive. He even would respond to you late at night. I was very surprised with their turn around time the day after i confirm giving the job to Artistic. On the very next day, Tony send the tree removal ppl to go over which tree to remove with his stuff and also how the cran are going to grab the trees from the yard. It is definitely very efficient. Then on that same week, Tony was able to lock down a date when they can start the work. Luckily, the wait was not long. The crew get here very early in the morning and stay until late afternoon most of the time, rain or shine. The project was estimated to take about 2wks. Despite the rain for couple days, they did complete the project on time. We really like the crew as well, they are extremely polite and professional.

I hired Tony to build a retaining wall along a neighbor?s driveway. I compared Artistic Landscaping with several other companies and they ranked much better than others overall. There was little room to work during wall construction so my neighbor?s driveway needed to be utilized which concerned me, however Tony suggested and employed the use of plywood to protect my neighbor?s property; when the wall was complete you couldn't tell Tony and his crew were there. Artistic Landscaping worked with me and listen to me and I could not be happier with the results. The plan is to have them return to build additional wall on my property. A great experience, a great result, a VERY happy customer. Thank Artistic Landscaping.

Tony and his crew came by 3 weeks later and installed our patio in 2 days. Using 1 paver for the main portion of the patio and a different one for the border. Before my wife and I could even walk on the patio, our kids had put a blanket down and were having a picnic on it. The whole family is very happy with the results and look forward to hiring Artistic Landscapes again next year.

We are beyond happy with the work that Tony Hurley (the owner), his crew and subs did in our backyard, and are looking forward to the work on the front yard, driveway and planting in the spring. From the first meeting with Tony through the whole project, we were so happy with the professional and quality service and work. The initial design was a great start and the final design is exactly what we were hoping for. We really appreciated the flexibility of the crew throughout as we saw it come to life and made some adjustments. The entire crew worked hard and paid attention to the details - we know the quality of our new patio, planters, sitting wall, and fire pit are above what we could have gotten anywhere else and Artistic landscapes guarantees all the masonry work. The project was flexible from the start and we truly felt part of all decisions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. We got great advice along the way as well. Tony did a fantastic job of communicating the expectations which really made us aware of the progress and timing. This project was completed within a reasonable time-line even after an unforeseeable delay. We have recommended Artistic landscapes to anyone who asked, and it has been numerous times - our new backyard is a great addition to our home and has added value in every way. Note on the price: The initial estimate was a bit higher than the other 4 companies we received quotes from. We decided to go with Artistic Landscapes because it was the most complete estimate; as a result there were no budget surprises. We got all the value -and more-- for our dollars.

They were very professional and did a good job. The work they did was as advertised.

Got a really high quote. We cut back the amount of work to get the cost down. Tony called and said it wasn't worth his time to do the job since it was cut in half. Found another landscaper that did the work for less than half the cost and came out great!

tony was on time, kept me informed, consulted with me on all decisions as we went along. His crew was industrious, digging out a huge amount of tree roots. He did all that was agreed to in the contract, and just as I wanted it. Tony is a very personable man to work with; I would definitely hire him again.

The gentleman who came out for the quote was fantastic, nice, and professional. His quote was three times as high as the next quote.

Tony Hurley, the owner/operator of Artistic Landscapes, was very prompt in returning our call for an estimate. He came to our house for the initial meeting. He is very genuine and sincere and worked very hard to help us visualize the project throughout the planning stages. He was also very forthcoming and honest about the projected cost and timing of the project. Tony was here daily and performed much of the work himself. His crew was very courteous and friendly. What struck me the most about Tony and his crew is how precise and diligent they are in their work. I got the impression that the placement of every stone mattered. Tony and his crew take great pride in their work and it shows in the final product. We consider ourselves lucky to have found him and I would recommend him to anyone interested in stone masonry and landscape lighting.

This was a fairly big job. I don't know the square footage of the work area - but, combined, it's a fairly large area. We had neglected the beds for a few years, doing only minimal weeding and trimming. I really wish I had taken some "before" photos to show the transformation. The yard is beautiful now! I won't be embarrassed for someone to drop by now! They worked hard and did a thorough job weeding, edging and trimming. I have asked Tony and his crew to come back on a monthly basis for upkeep. Artistic Landscape is everything you hope for in a service company and rarely get. Tony is responsive, prompt, does exactly what he says he will. I look forward very much to working with him again and would highly recommend to anyone.

This process took well over a month because we needed to replace a rotted sill behind old steps. Tony was responsive to his part of the replacement. Everyone loves our new front steps.

We initially met with Tony to discuss our desire to install a new front entrance walkway. During this time, Tony was very attentive to our vision and in turn was able to help us transform our vision into a reality. When we were ready to begin the project we had a specific deadline which he was considerate to and was able to meet. As the project began, his team was very dedicated and carried it through to completion in a very timely fashion and continuously ensured our expectations were met. Overall we had a great working experience with Tony and his team. We offered several challenges to his team as the project progressed and they were all responded to with professionalism and personal care. It was clear that his team has a passion for the work they do and strive to always provide the highest quality of work and ensure that the customers vision is ultimately met at the highest level.
