True to our name, we'll be there when we say we'll be. We know your time is valuable, so we don't leave you waiting. Our rates tend to be less than many of our competitors, with no hidden charges. We are not a large faceless construction company. When you call us or get an estimate for project, you'll talk to the owner and founder - Alan Weisner. Alan has been improving homes since 1996. He brings an old time craftsmanship and level of service to large and small jobs alike.

Description of Work: Lots of handy-man carpentry projects: replace doors, fix or replace door handles. Alan was terrific in estimating the work, responsive to all correspondence, knowledgeable about his work, honest about what he couldn't do and gave us a referral to someone who could. I would STRONGLY recommend him (and have!)

It went very well.
Description of Work: I needed a light changed in one of my fixtures in front of my house. Alan showed up promptly and took care of the issue. He was professional and did not overcharge me by expecting a fee just for showing up. I would definitely recommend Alan, because he is an honest worker.

He immediately said that he did not know how to replace this particular type of window pane. No estimate was supplied for this work. He said hanging a door in one basement opening would be easy. The corresponding labor estimate was $250. He said he did not know how to properly close off a door-sized below-grade opening, but that he could do some research and get back to us. The corresponding labor estimate was "TBD".
Description of Work: Partial Estimate: $250. We requested an estimate to (1) finish 2 door-sized roughed-in openings in our basement, and (2) replace a broken window pane. One opening was supposed to get a door; the other opening was supposed to be closed off. Both openings are below the grade. The window is Andersen double-pane double-hung, installed in 1991.

He's very customer friendly. He's just great, but too busy. He was happy to do the job, but couldn't fit it in soon enough, although he tried as well as he could.
