Description of Work: Same difficulty as other members in getting a response. Multiple phone calls, emails etc produced nothing but promises that someone would call back. Finally made a personal trip to the office and for me this worked (unlike the member mentioned below), although when the estimator did come he didn't seem that interested in taking on a complicated job in an old house (conversion of heating system), which seemed odd given their affiliation with show on TV.

Description of Work: I wanted to give an UPDATE to the report that I posted on Feb. 4, 2008. As noted in that report, I said I submitted an on-line request to Trethewey Brothers one last time, for a central A/C estimate. Well, I received a call from Fred Edwards of the company on Tuesday. I was shocked to hear from him & told him so, & then related my story. He apologized & said that he was there at Trethewey to solve just such problems as I had. He is now the go-between the customers & the estimators. In short, I now have an appt. to have the central A/C estimate within the week. So, it does pay (sometimes) to keep trying. I am VERY glad, as I know from others on this site & elsewhere what good work they do. Thank you Fred Edwards & Trethewey Brothers.

Description of Work: CONTACTED THEIR COMPANY BATHROOM DESIGNER ALMOST A YEAR AGO WHO VISITED MY PROPERTY AND MEASURED A SMALL FULL BATH FOR A COMPLETE OVERHAUL/GUT JOB. I WAS INTERESTED IN HAVING T-BROS DO THE WORK AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET AN ESTIMATE/PROPOSAL IN ABOUT TEN DAYS. I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM EVEN AFTER AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE. I EVEN DROPPED BY TO THEIR OFFICES IN PERSON LAST SEPTEMBER TO LEAVE A MESSAGE TO PLEASE CONTACT ME. STILL NO CONTACT. GUESS THEY HAVE BIGGER AND BETTER JOBS AND THEY CAN''T BE BOTHERED. MY BUDGET WAS 17K.
