Description of Work: I selected Metro Insulation to do the MassSave insulation weatherization improvements paid for by the incentive program. Metro Insulation added insulation to my hollow walls and to my attic. They also air-sealed gaps in my attic and added weatherstripping to my doors. Finally, they completed safety and combustion checks. | |Kevin, the team-lead, and his team were very professional, friendly and did quality work. They arrived on time in the morning, and even finished ahead of schedule. Everyone was polite and answered my questions, and they made a special effort to keep all working areas clean. | |There were no problems of cellulose getting blown into our apartment, unlike some stories you might hear. This may be due to the fact that they drilled more holes (4 rows) and added the cellulose at a lower pressure, rather than drilling one hole and trying to fill the entire cavity. I'd recommend my method as it worked great. | |Between the MassSave incentive that paid for 90% of the cost, and the great work done by Metro Insulation, I'd recommend this to anyone whose house qualifies. | |I'm excited to improve my home's energy efficiency and to save on heating and cooling costs going forward!

Description of Work: We had a MassSave audit and were eligible for $2000 off of the needed insulation. Scott was always punctual, very professional and extremely helpful. He added some things that the auditor missed. His crew arrived before the appointment and were all very friendly and professional. They cleaned up after and you could barely tell there was any work done. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Scott Gosse came out to prepare an estimate. Because of some misplaced paperwork on his part we had to delay the inspection a few hours, but he was good about calling and letting me know what was happening. He reviewed the job and left an estimate. We went with another contractor whose price was somewhat lower but who seemed equally skilled.

+ -1 moreFANTASTIC JOB!! THEY CAME ON TIME, VERY POLITE, AND EXTREMELY CAREFUL OF OUR WALLS, ETC. STAIRS WERE COMPLETELY COVERED SO NO MARKS WOULD OCCUR FROM THE HOSE. BEFORE THEY LEFT, THEY EVEN SWEPT THE STREET IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE! I COULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM ANY MORE HIGHLY. THEY WERE GREAT!!!
