I hired Dan to paint our house in preparation for a home sale. There were a couple areas where I wanted stress fractures repaired. Once they started working, they claimed one of the most important areas of repair was no part of the contract. That was the only reason why I hired them in the first place and I have no clue how one of my priority spots was not included in the contract. It baffled me! There was only supposed to be a single white ceiling color in our house (Contractually only two colors in any one room). They ended up using two colors of ceiling paint and touched up the ceiling with different colors of paint. Very obvious that wrong color was used. Because of incorrect color, there were 3 colors used in some rooms, 2 colors of white on the ceiling, and one gray for the walls. I asked them to come back and fix the ceiling so it was all one color but they never responded to me. I contracted them to paint at least one coat of paint on all included rooms (contract no more than 2 coats included in contract). We discussed when painting would be done behind the fridge and they committed it would be done at the end. In the end they never painted a single coat of paint behind the fridge. When I contact them to fulfill the contract, they never responded. They claimed they were professionals and didn't need to tape to get clean lines. That was not the case. They should have taped for clean lines. I noted that they were getting paint all over the plug and light switch covers. So I removed them all so they could just paint the wall and not have to cut around the covers. With one light switch, having removed the cover so they could paint right up to the switch, they still didn't paint close enough to cover the wall up to the light switch cover. (A portion of the wall was left without any new paint). When I contacted them back to fulfil the contract they never responded. Under the bathroom mirror, they failed to apply one coat of paint. You have to look at the wall from under the mirror to see the omission. When I asked them to come and apply the first coat of paint to the applicable spot, they never responded to my communication. They pressured me to make the final payment before work was completed so they could get paid before the weekend. Do not pay the final payment until the paint is dried and you do a final check of the work. I was only able to determine they used the wrong paint on the ceiling until the next day because they painted with incorrect color right before leaving and the wet on dry paint was impossible to tell if it would dry the same color. They asked how I'd rate their work middle of the last day at our house. I thought they were doing a good job. They said they'd send a link to do a review. They then rushed the end of the project and didn't paint behind the fridge and used incorrect paint on ceiling touchups. I'm guessing they knew I wouldn't be happy with their work after that so they never sent the link. Beware, the reviews posted here were tailor picked by them. I'm guessing if they sent links to everyone they worked for and not just those who said were happy with their work, their ratings would be much worse. Hire at your own risk. Make sure you have a good contract and perfect understanding of what work will be done. Don't make final payment until all paint is dried and you've examined their work. I was quite disappointed in final product. Luckily I was selling my house and I don't have to live with it. I was extremely disappointed they didn't live up to the agreed contract in multiple ways and locations throughout my house. I was disappointed they didn’t respond to my concerns at all. I don’t think it is too much to expect at least one coat of paint on all contracted surfaces or to expect the same color of paint to be used for touchups on the same wall/ceiling.

They did an excellent job, were very professional and punctual. If you need any advice or to double check your choices, they were always ready to help.
Description of Work: in 2007, I had a pre-war bathroom remodeled by the Four Brothers Construction. They were the best bid, the best company to listen to my requests and made the necessary suggestion for the best work ever. They were punctual and everything was delivered in time and with quality. I strongly recommended this company to any one who is thinking to remodel either kitchen or bathroom, any small or big job. BTW, the bath remodeled was a small one(5Fx7.5F)and it's gutted out and has a new tub, new sink and modern tiles were also put in. Amazing job!
