They were not great but they were good. It was not a major thing but they had to come back and replace a faucet in the shower because it was leaking.

Superb service! South Shore Dream Bath installed two grab bars (chrome, manufactured by Moen) on the front and side walls of the bathroom tub. These grab bars are high-quality. The installation was quick and tidy. The price was very reasonable, especially when you consider the safety and security these bars provide to prevent "slip & falls." We highly recommend this company!

Everything went smoothly with SSDB. It was a completely stress-free, doubt-free experience. Cathy was great during the initial consultation and helped me choose stylish, attractive tile and fixtures. Steve and Rich were great at managing the project. Everything was done according to specification. The work was completed timely and efficiently. The crew was incredibly respectful of my home and made sure that everything was clean after they were done. If there was an error in cost estimate or an error in product delivery, SSDB remedied it and didn't place the burden of cost on me (the customer). Their willingness to please me as a customer took precedence over the all-mighty dollar. This is a quality you rarely see anymore, so SSDB should be commended for their dedication to their customers. I found SSDB right here on Angie's List based on their very favorable reviews, and I am very happy to add another one to their roster. The workmanship was excellent. The materials were top grade. The professionalism of the crew was outstanding. They arrived every day when they said that they would. They worked the whole day without taking a break. They left the house spotless when they were through. Most importantly, they got the work done in 3 days on Christmas week. We were able to show off a beautiful bathroom to our guests during the holidays. I would certainly recommend this business to anyone.

It all began with Steve giving me some design ideas for a complete remodel of my small bathroom. Steve never pressured me into purchasing anything I wasn't comfortable with. Rich then executed the vision I had and it came out better than expected. Rich is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. The little details and the extra effort Rich and his team put in was refreshing to see first hand. I would highly recommend South Shore Dream Bath. Best experience I've had with a contractor!

The people of South Shore Dream bath are punctual, professional and respectful. They removed an old tub/shower unit and installed a beautiful tub/shower with surround in a timely way. These guys are the best. I highly recommend them.

Steve was easy to get in touch with and able to come by within a week to give us an estimate, which was important since we were in a bit of a time crunch. He had great suggestions on how to save money while still getting what we wanted - they specialize in bathrooms, just bathrooms, and I think that actually helps a LOT. And I loved that the estimate was itemized based on the options you choose (e.g., it costs this much for tile vs. this much for a acrylic liner, this much for toilet installation, and if you add wainscoting it'll be this much extra, etc.) -- not some magic number pulled out of a hat like some contractors give you. I was able to stay within our budget by cutting back on a couple of premium options we didn't really need. SSDB's subcontractors did a good job all around - I even hired a couple of them for other small projects. And the final product was terrific. The subway tile-style acrylic liner looks great, and in fact everyone who's seen it thinks it's real subway tile, even other contractors and my mom -- who had insisted I should go with the more expensive real tile. When she first saw it, she said, "Oh, you decided to do tile? I thought you were going to get the acrylic liner? It looks great!" Very happy with South Shore Dream Bath, and we'd likely use them again when it comes time to update our upstairs bathroom.

they were on time once they came to the house. they mixed up the starting dates on the job. once that was fixed they were on time to the minute on the two days it took to complete the work. they were neat and efficient. they also did a few extras to make the installation better. i would not hesitate to recommend them to any relatives or friends

Professional personnel did a good job . They only know one way to do an install and that,s the right way.Steve the estimator was top notch.They will not take shortcuts. Checked out their references and they came out on top.Bath fitter wanted 5400 for this job.Rebath had a supervisor who all the ex workers despised. Others had no reviews posted online. Go with these guys and you,ll be happy

South Shore Dreambath is easy to work with. They gutted our bathroom to the studs and remodeled it on time at the quoted price. The tile work looks great. The acrylic surround looks pretty good and is (heat) molded to the old tub tight. We have not noticed any plumbing leaks or issues. The drywall work was done with greenboard only on the shower wall with the plumbing, the rest was all standard gypsum board. The drywall\plaster work was sloppy, but they came back and cleaned it up free of charge. The exhaust fan turned out to be venting into a blind attic, they relocated it to the outside wall at no additional cost. They didn't true up the closet wall framing before putting up the drywall so it is a bit crooked, though you probably wouldn't notice if it wasn't pointed out to you. What you will notice is they didn't touch the closet walls or ceiling, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the work is good and we are content, but it isn't quite "excellent".

From the initial phone call to South Shore Dream Bath throughout the whole process, it was first rate service. I did some research for my 90 year old mom who so wanted a walk-in tub to enhance her quality of life. Steve and his workers made the process so easy and painless. He answered all of our questions and was straight forward and unassuming. Steve really seemed so pleased we called him and he wanted to do a great job for my mom and did he ever accomplish that. Her tub and the beautiful surround far exceeded anything we imagined. The price for the quality and workmanship was incredible. There were no "surprises" or issues at all, everything went smoothly and all involved were so professional. My mom is just "over the moon" with her new tub and bathroom. She tells me all the time how she feels like she is in a spa now and looks forward to her baths, which previously were a chore for her and a safety issue. We cannot recommend South Shore Dream Bath for walk-in tub or bathroom installation. If you are thinking about a new bathtub or bathroom renovation, do not hesitate to contact South Shore Dream Bath. Steve and his staff are fantastic and you will not regret it.

I am disabled veteran with ALS. I had a bathroom that was ADA approved but not for a wheelchair. The VA worked with Dream Bath to remodel the bathroom. Dream Bath had gut the bathroom and put in a new shower that was wheelchair accessible. South shore dream bath has remodeled three bathrooms for us. My daughter also had a bathroom remolded by Dream Bath. We were completely satisfied with their work. The work was done on a timely basis. One bathroom was a handicapped shower and they had to work with the VA. They were very professional in their work. We completely trusted them. You could walk out your house and leave them there to work.They always were on time and kept us informed on their progress. They were courteous and reliable. We highly recommend South Shore Dream Bath if you need a bathroom remodeled. The finished work is excellent.

These guy were the best. We had some mold behind the unit and they took care of it without charging extra. They were professional and did a great job cleaning up the job site.

It worked out great. I needed the work done in less than a month from initial call to completion and they delivered as promised. I've worked with a number of other contractors on the cape and have had very mixed results. It was refreshing to work with a group that delivered a quality product on time and as promised. I'd use them again going forward.

This company did an excellent job and I am delighted to have a beautiful new white tub and shower surround liner over my old green tub and tiles. They had been in excellent condition, but since I decided to remodel the bathroom, I wanted all white fixtures and this was a more permanent way to go instead of having them painted. The 8x10 tub walls make the job look even more impressive and I wish I had done this a long time ago.

Based on their excellent reviews, we called South Shore Dream Bath for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. The appointment was scheduled promptly for March 22. Mr. Ryan was running late for the appointment but did call to let us know he would be late. The appointment went well, and we really liked his ideas and his listening to our needs. He promised to get an estimate out to us via email. The following week we hadn't heard anything so emailed him to follow up. He said he would get us something the next day. This continued with no response from Mr. Ryan even after several phone calls and emails. The one time we reached him on the phone he said they were very busy with some hospital jobs but that he'd go back and get the estimate right out to us. We even informed him that we had our electrical service upgraded in preparation for the remodel. We are still waiting for the estimate. Reaching out through Angie's List message system recently also yielded no response.

I recently had my bathroom redone by South Shore Dream bath. From start to finish they were professional and honest. The salesman who came gave me a reasonable quote, beating the two other competitors I compared with. The materials they used were top quality and they were able to complete the job right away. They made sure to put down tarps to protect my wood floors and furniture. They were clean and efficient, and got the job done right. I would recommend South Shore Dream bath to anyone looking for bath restoration or remodeling.

Can't say enough good about this company. Starting with sales with Steve Ryan and then work crew, Rich and Tony, outstanding service and the work was perfectly done. In addition to the professional work, their attention to my home was very impressive, drop cloths throughout to protect my wood floors. Service above and beyond: Rich went out of his way to remove an extra shelf from the bath and spackled the holes for me! Would highly recommend this wonderful company without reservation.

They did a great job. They guys were right on time, very neat and, did everything in 2 1/2 days and did a very professional, excellent job. We're very happy with our new shower and tile floor. The quality of the material (acrylic shower surround) is top notch. The job was little expensive (or at least a bit more than we anticipated) but considering the good job they did and lack of problems, we're 100% satisfied.

They were very professional and we are quite pleased with the work that was done. One thing I find with contractors is that there is never any follow up after a job is completed. We did not have any issues beyond the original installation but it would be nice if there was follow up to ensure that everything was satisfactory with the customer. They were great and I would definitely use them again.

When we arrived the facility was locked up and no one there! We did not do further business with this company.

It was not a good experience. They installed very quickly, and they were very polite, however, they did not install all the things that were quoted, and that we had paid for. They switched one of the faucets that we had asked for, and then when we called them to come back, they didn't come back and they didn't come back, and when I told them I was on Angie's List, they came back. When they came back, they were very polite, and they put in the new things. All the caulking that they did, the second time they came out, was inferior or wrong. It is wrong in color, and it doesn't look nice. We weren't satisfied. I don't fault the people's workmanship, I fault the pieces that they used, like the shower apparatus, I have to start it up for my 8 year old, because it is too hard. The job wasn't 100% bad. It was really bad before they came in, we had cracks and we had leaking, and they came and worked quickly. The people who worked on it were very good, but the sales were not honest. The workmanship was topnotch, but the sales and the material was not good. The workmen were polite, professional, on time, and did a great job. The second time they came to repair the things, the material was not good. We felt that we did not get the materials that we had originally paid for.

South Shore Dream Bath responded right away to estimate request. I explained that I was just looking for a clean, functional basement shower. Steve provided estimate quickly and scheduled work for two weeks later, according to my availability. Rich and Tony showed up promptly at 8:30 am, did a terrific job and cleaned up. The shower looks terrific! Thank you so much for a job well done! I highly recommend this company.

It went awesome! Rich and Tony do awesome work. They came on the date promised and finished on time which was vey important since this is rental property. This is the fourth bathroom they have done for us. I will use them again for the remaining units. South Shore Dream Bath definetly adds value. There were a couple of things that went wrong but not due to South Shore Baths. The tub was back-ordered and delayed the project. Steve did offer to use a different tub but we decided to wait for the one we preferred. One of the sinks arrived pre-drilled for a 4" faucet, we were using 8" so that had to be reordered. Overall they did a great job on both baths. Thank you South Shore Baths!
