It went very well. Communication was via email with Johanna, and was great. Got a an appointment scheduled about a week after ordering, perfect. Scott (tech) was on time, professional, thorough and gladly explained the appliances and maintenance to me. Answered my (likely annoying) questions without hesitation and even offered tips for keeping the systems clean through the year. He tightened everything up, cleaned fans and drains, and checked all parts of the appliances. He was friendly but got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and didn't talk my ear off. Great service from beginning to end, well worth the money. Would definitely hire again.

Northeast Appliance Pros was late to every appointment that was made and even didn't show up at all to one appointment all together. They were unable to resolve the issue over multiple attempts and kept replacing part after part with what appeared to be no real direction. Northeast Appliance was also unwilling to work with the manufacturer as they thought they had all the answers but my issue went unresolved. The younger guy that stopped by was helpful in explaining things to us but the older crew was not helpful and not open to getting the assistance they needed. Very unprofessional organization to work with where nobody is on the same page.

I was easily able to schedule the time and day I wanted, but the service professional ran late that day so I got a call to reschedule. Once again, I got the date and time that I asked for. The technician was on time, prepared with the right part, knowledgeable and pleasant. The service took less than an hour and I thought the cost of the repair was reasonable.

He was very professional and prompt. He explained in general what he was going to do and showed me what he found when he took the machines apart. He also gave me some tips on maintaining them myself. It was a very pleasant experience.

fantastic. the first installer sent by my home warranty company said they couldn't make the installation because of location of the cabinets, so they contacted Northeast. Scheduling was a little time-consuming but once they showed up, on a boiling hot day when I had forgotten to turn the AC on, they were clearly professionals who knew what they were doing, got the job done and were helpful about cleanup. a great experience.

Two techs were at my home for a dishwasher repair on 3/30/16. They determined the part I needed, said it would be ordered, and that they would call when it had arrived. Periodic calls were placed to them and I was told each time that the part was on back order at the manufacturer (Fisher/Paykel) and that they would inquire and call me back. I never received a call back. Finally, FOUR MONTHS LATER, in mid July, I called the Fisher/Paykel company directly. They knew nothing about a back order nor had they had any contact with Northeast Appliance Pros, Inc. The Fisher/Paykel rep called Northeast Appliance on my behalf to resolve the issue. The F/P rep advised me that Northeast Appliance Pros, Inc. staff admitted that they didn't know what part was required and that they had never placed the order.

The person who answered the phone was nice, knowledgeable, and was able to get me scheduled quickly (the next day). Explained all the details of the service call and costs upfront so I knew what to expect. Arrival window was rather large 9am - 1pm. Service person was late due to the previous job taking longer than expected, that said he did call me to let me know that he would be late. Definitely, knew what he was doing. Was able to diagnose the problem immediately and set to work fixing it. Our defroster timer/switch had failed resulting in the cooling unit being one giant block of ice. He replaced the timer and defrosted everything, fridge is working perfectly now.

The freezer section of our Whirlpool refrigerator was running nonstop - everything was frozen rock solid - and the refrigerator section had stopped cooling altogether. We called for service on Monday morning and Bill arrived that day to assess the situation. Turns out we needed a new main board, which Bill didn't have on the truck - it had to be ordered. The office then called to get our authorization to order the part which would cost $265, which we, of course, OK'd; we were told it would take about a day to get it. When Tuesday rolled around and no call from Northeast, we waited until Wednesday then made the call ourselves. We were told that the part had come in but that the technicians were already out on their calls but that someone would get back to us. No one did. We called back and were told that no one could come out that day, so we set up an appointment for the next morning (Thursday). Bill did show up within the time window and replaced the board, and got the freezer thawed out and the refrigerator section cooling again. However the ice maker wasn't working. Another call to the office, and we were told to give it a chance to thaw out - at least 24 hours. That made sense, so we waited, but still no ice maker by Friday, so we called again. We were again told to wait - it might still need time to thaw out completely - but that if the ice maker needed to be repaired there would probably be an additional charge involved. We were certainly willing to pay for any additional parts but did not want to pay any additional service call charges. Monday rolled around and STILL no ice maker, although we could hear it trying to work so we thought there was probably something blocking the water line. Another call to Northeast and we set up another appointment for Wednesday. Two techs showed up, pulled the refrigerator away from the wall, and discovered that the ice maker was STILL frozen solid! They went to work and got it thawed out in no time. Voila! Now we have ice! And there were no additional charges involved. So we finally got our refrigerator completely repaired for the price originally quoted - the $85 service call charge and the $265 (actually, $268.75 but close enough) charge for the actual repair. I would have given them 5 stars for responsiveness because they originally showed up the day we called, but I reduced it to 4 stars because we had to keep calling to find out that the part had come in and to let them know that the initial repair hadn't corrected the ice maker problem, and we had to keep calling to finally get it fixed. If they had been a little more proactive in this respect I would have given them 5 stars, no problem. Otherwise, they certainly earned 5 stars in every other category, and we will certainly call them FIRST the next time we need any appliances repaired.

Arrived early in the appointment window, diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly

Our refigerator/freezer unit was not holding cold temperatures. We tried defrosting and cleaning it out, but when that didn't work we knew we had to call in a repair business. Northeast Appliance Pro's were very upfront about how much it would cost them to show up to diagnose our problem, and how that would be factored into the price of the repair. They were very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be fixed and how often they saw this type of a problem. Unfortunately we needed a major repair and they needed to order a part that made it necessary for them to come back another day . Of course we don't know for sure, but we assume that the price they charged was fair and we certainly had the feeling that it was reasonable based on how professional and knowledgeable they were and the amount of time that it took to do the work. We would definitely use them again.

Technician Brian did great! Very quick, friendly, and professional. Entire service took ~35 minutes or so.

You could tell by their tone when I talked to them that they didn't want me to purchase the coupon and were trying to upcharge me for other charges. It seemed like a 'bait 'n switch'. It was a terrible experience. She wasn't willing to put the serviceman on the phone to ask questions directly.

It was more expensive than I thought it would be. It was a several stage process but they got it done. I think the diagnosis was not great.

The technician, Buzzy was great. He arrived in the timeframe that I expected, and quickly diagnosed the problem (burnt out motherboard) and had one in his van so he replaced it during the call. He stayed until he was sure that everything was working. Pleasant, professional, efficient. Thanks very much!

Person was nice,but problem still exists

It was a great experience from beginning to end. The young woman on the phone was super helpful and took the time to double-check that they serviced my area. Kevin arrived on the early side (excellent!) of my service window. He diagnosed the issue and luckily had the part with him to fix it. So happy! Was dreading having to haul my clothes to the laundromat over the weekend. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Our refrigerator light switch needed to be replaced. Called the company about the specific light switch to be replaced. An appointment was scheduled promptly. When the technician came to replace the switch, he found that the switch he brought did not match the original one. He offered to order the correct light switch. The second time he came, everything worked nicely. This my first time working with this company and I am not sure if it's a common practice to charge the customer twice on the follow up visit. I knew that with another company I worked before, they charge me the initial diagnostic and labor fee and not the follow up fee. I should have double checked with this company before using them.

When they order parts, it'll take weeks. Once the part is in, they don't call you. For example September 16 they ordered a replacement ice maker. Installation was rescheduled to October 21. We'll see.

Scheduling was easy and when they came they performed the maintenance service thoroughly and with care. They checked hoses, vents, lint trap, pump trap, etc. All checked out. They also replaced the boot seal, which was a challenge! They were cordial, helpful, and even offered some tips on a replacement for my over-the-stove microwave which was about to die. Very positive experience.

Both appliances are older but high end so I wanted them checked out before I decided if I should just replace them. They came out twice. The first time to do the initial service and then again once a needed part came in. All service was covered under the original price I paid through the Angie's List deal. Both machines needed additional service, which was quoted to me in a very clear and timely fashion. I choose not to do the other repairs only because the machines are so old. I would definitely use Northeast Appliance Pro's again.

They came out right away, diagnosed the problem very quickly, and told me exactly what the issue was. I was happy.

He determined the issue right away and fix it. It is almost 2 months that there is no leak.

It was great. There was an additional charge because they had to put in a part that obviously wouldn't have been covered. The only charge beyond what we paid on the Angie's list thing was the charge for the part itself. It might have been $80. They were very responsive. They showed up exactly when they said. They finished it in the same trip that they came. They didn't try to push off the work or anything. So, he just showed up one time and he was able to fix it, even though there was an extra part required.
