The diagnosis was made challenging because the washer was connected to a shutoff valve unit. I was very impressed with how the repairman (Justin) went about assessing the problem. At the end, the problem was with my shut-off valve unit, not my washing machine. Everything works fine now.

Justin was excellent. He came right in and got to work. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. The new ignitor was installed in 20 minutes. Very efficient. I found the service fee a little high, but don't know the industry standard. I would definitely use them again! Highly recommend!

Fantastic to say the least ... They deserve more than just a 5***** rating!!! They came the day I called, diagnosed the problem, returned a day & half later & fixed the dryer. Extremely please with their prompt way they took care of my problem. They were very friendly on the phone (answered on the 1st ring with NO automated voice answering. Their technician "Buzzy" was the most knowledgeable reair person we have had during our 51 years of marriage. Extremely friendly, explained everything, showed the worn out broke part. I would certainly chore Northeast Appliance Pros for all our appliance repair and insist that "Buzzy" do any future repairs on our appliances. Very well. They adjusted their schedule to meet mine after I had something come up last minute.

Replaced in under 30 minutes. Justin was exceptionally professional and efficient.

Wonderful! It took a while for the 2 hinges to come in, 2-3 weeks, but when they did, they called me and I scheduled to have them put them on. The technician was on time gave me an estimated time for how long the job would take, and he was correct. (it took about an hour). When he was finished, he had me come and try the door, and it did work, much better. I signed off on the paperwork and he left. The only problem, was that over time- the oven hinges haven't gotten easier (meaning with more give) So I am concerned about them breaking again. But overall I was very satisfied with the results.

The whole experience with Northeast was awesome. I noticed from yesterday evening that the freezer temperature had dropped. By this morning, the items in the freezer had started to defrost. The refrigerator temperature as well had dropped. I was in a panic from 7:00am calling companies to see if I can get someone to address the issue right away. I called at 8:00am Northeast Appliance and Vicky answered the call. She was kind, polite and put me at ease that they would try to resolve the issue. She scheduled an appointment for the afternoon - she said 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Justin (the technician) was here on the dot at 1:00pm. He was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He took his time to make sure that he knew exactly what the problem was. He didn't mind that I was right there and asking whatever questions I had. He did not have the part that was needed on his truck; he told me that he would go to his next appointment and he would come back with the part to fix my problem. He got the part and was back at my home about 2 hours later. My refrigerator seems to be back and running smooth. The price was extremely reasonable. I can't say enough about the two people I interacted with. They were wonderful; Justin went above and beyond to take care of the issue for me right away and on the same day that I called. I know who to call again if I have another appliance issue.

It went very well. I called and was able to get an appointment the following morning. The repair person was friendly, knowledgeable, and did not seem to mind my looking over his shoulder and asking questions. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. When he was putting everything back together, he noticed (by listening to the refrigerator) that the freezer motor was not running as quickly as he thought it should, and he did some further investigation. I was very impressed at his careful attention and diagnostic skills. He alerted me to a possible motor problem without insisting that it needed an immediate repair (and so far it has been ok). I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My only hesitation is that the cost was more than I expected (I was quoted under $100 for a home visit and it was about $155) but I assumed that included the repair, and overall it seemed reasonable.

Great service--punctual, knowledgeable, and quickly had our oven back in working order with a half hour. $90 call-out fee plus the cost of the part.

August 16, 2017 RE: Northeast Appliance Repair Pros Complaint Dear Sir/Madam: I would like to file a formal complaint against Northeast Appliance Pros (“NEAP”) located in 1080 Bedford, Ste #4 Abington MA 02351. This entity had supposedly fixed my elderly disabled mother’s clothes dryer on June 2017 for a total of $212.69 (which includes $98 service call fee and $114.69 repair fee). NEAP failed to read the terms and conditions of agreement to my mother who speaks little English before having her sign it. She was under the impression that she was signing a quote. This deceptive business practice is unacceptable. In addition, they failed to mentioned their terms and conditions to me on the phone prior to me scheduling appointment. I notified NEAP on August 15, 2017 that my mother’s clothes dryer was not working. I called again on August 16, 2017 to have them send out someone to repair it. I spoke to an individual named Connie who said that I would have to pay another additional service & labor fee but the replaced parts(s) was still under warranty. I was completely taken aback because I already paid $212.69 for my mother to have her dryer repaired. Connie claimed that NEAP terms and conditions state that after thirty days of repair, the customer is expected to pay for the service call and labor. I told her that this was ridiculous and told her I should not be expected to pay anything and requested to speak to a manager. Kevin, NEAP Supervisor was very rude to me. It is obvious that customer service was not listed on his job description. He told me that is was my fault that I overloaded the dryer and said I should hire someone else if I do not like the service they provide. Really? Is this an acceptable behavior for an employee to mistreat and insult a customer? Because I have worked in the Customer Service sector for five years and would have been fired on the spot for ever being this rude to any customer. Moreover, I would not want to embarrass nor want the company I work for to have a bad reputation. I told Kevin that I would file a complaint and he replied “Good luck with that,” before hanging up the phone in my face. I am not sure how they treat their other customers but I know I cannot be the only one NEAP has treated unfairly. NEAP is simply using the “Domino Effect” to swindle customers of their money. This entity would temporarily fix a problem in hopes a customer calls them again and again to charge an additional service & labor fee. This practice continues until an unsuspecting customer becomes fed up with the multiple service calls and decides to just get a new equipment. My mother is unable to dry her clothes and is unable to drive due to her disability to go to a laundry mat on a continuous basis. I am sickened and disappointed that NEAP would go through such measures to take advantage of an elderly disabled person. NEAP has breached the warranty and service agreement between themselves and the unsatisfied customer in this business transaction. Therefore NEAP should provide a full refund immediately for the amount of $212.69 for failure to properly fix the clothes dryer. I have filed complaints against NEAP with the following agencies: Attorney General’s Office, Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and Elderly protection services.

Northeast Appliance was excellent to deal with all around! Came right out Identified the problem and fixed it right away. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, knowledgeable and professional.

From the professionalism of the lady who booked the appointment to the service man with his skill and honesty this company is a first class organization. I would definitely hire them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Extremely well. Because it was a major part for an old machine, he had to order the part and return a second time., but his office got the part and he was here promptly on schedule both times. The office also kept me fully informed when he would be here andf what it would cost. This is some of the best service I've had in years! ("Would you hire again?" Immediately, without question!)

Our usual repair company couldn't come for a week so they recommended Northeast Appliance. What a great recommendation! They sent Scott that afternoon. He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as soon as he walked in (the defrost heater wasn't working). He spent about an hour defrosting the frig allowing cold air to circulate thereby restoring the freezing and cooling. Both sides were working but the heater had to be replaced. They got the part the next day and Scott returned and installed it Everything works fine. We couldn't be more satisfied. There was a $95 charge for the service call which covered the defrosting,, etc. Then the heater and installation was $145.

this is an addendum to review on 12/22. I decided on a D rather than F review because the company has agreed to refund me $128 from $440 for services that never resolved the problem. They did replace the cracked seal and hinges on door, but door never shut properly after that. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see that there was a corroded area on the door of the washer where the leak was coming from. Will say it wasn't entirely their fault because communication was lacking and had I understood all the details it would have been brought to their attention sooner. I wish they had communicated with me better. They did tell me about the seal problem but not about the corroded area on the door. I feel they just wanted to make money on repairs. I could have used this money on a new door for the washer, or put it towards a new washer.
