Duct Man

Lance was great. He cleaned the part of the duct that the last company missed (check vent light went on with first load of laundry right after last company left each time). He also pointed out that our vent hardware on the outside was the wrong kind and allowed wind to blow link into the dryer heating element and was a fire hazard. He replaced it for pretty cheap. Highly recommend him.

I called to request a quote, expecting a machine to answer, but got the Duct Man himself. He was able to quote a price and we agreed on a day and time. He showed up right on time, did the work and cleaned up after. We were very pleased with the service and have recommended that our daughter contact the Duct Man for her dryer vent cleaning. Expect to use their service again in the future.

I had Lance and team replace the old corrugated foil duct with smooth metal. They were very professional, came quickly, were punctual, and the price was fair. He gave me an estimate on the phone that reflected the actual charge. Also, and importantly, they exerted no pressure to change the ductwork. I highly recommend Duct Man.

They came to clean out our dryer vent and seemed to do a good job. They were friendly and efficient. The price was as quoted and seemed within the range of others. I would highly recommend.

Lance came to clean the outside dryer vent for my tenant's apartment, but found that there was also a ton of lint contained inside the dryer itself. So he took the dryer apart to vacuum inside the dryer, reassembled the dryer, then ensured it was secured to the dryer vent. He let me know ahead of time that there would be an extra charge for disassembling the dryer. I appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism and I will use his services again for future units.

Lance came out to clean my dryer vent on the same day that we spoke on the phone. He and his partner were friendly and professional. He gave me some info about my vent in general and how often mainatenave should take place.

They came out within 2 hours. They quickly diagnosed that the wrong type of cage was put on the exterior of the vent (the air holes were way too small) so that lint quickly clogged it. They removed the wrong cage, installed the correct one and now I have clean clothes 3 hours after calling them! They even educated me about the proper safety for my dryer while they were here. Couldn't have been more responsive, knowledgeable and professional.

Great experience! I was able to book an appointment right away. They showed up right up time - actually 2 minutes early - and got right to work. The duct was cleaned from the outside vent and from the inside right behind the dryer, to reach all parts of it. In order to access the outside vent they had to go through our basement, and they made sure to lock the door on their way back inside. I appreciated that he wasn't pushing me to purchase other services. I asked about having our heating and cooling ducts cleaned and he gave me a no-pressure estimate and advice on what I can do to help maintain the system. Very knowledgeable, professional, and did the job well. I'd recommend Duct Man to anyone, and will be hiring him again when we next have the need.

I had a wonderful experience with the Duct Man. They responded within minutes to the voicemail message I left, and we were able to schedule the service within a couple of days. They called ahead to say they were running a few minutes late of our scheduled time and were very professional. Upon arrival, they worked quickly, were professional and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely use them again.

I didn't use this provider, primarily because it was too difficult to get any contact. Left messages on two occasions. the first time, it took over a week before I got a call back. By then I had talked to someone else and decided to wait a bit. When I was ready to move forward, I called and left a message again - this time, they didn't call back at all. If a service provider can't return a call to get work, I assume they will be worse once you've already committed to them.

This company was very nice to deal with. The owner returned all calls promptly and gave an estimate over the phone. He answered all my questions. From talking with other providers his methods and equipment were the same as more expensive providers I contacted. The owner did the work himself with an assistant, both of whom were nice and non-intrusive. They even saved my cat from jumping out a window (she didn't like the noise.). I thought they were thorough. Our ductwork had never been cleaned and there was quite an accumulation of dirt and dust that they showed me. They said that ductwork should be cleaned every 10 years and they did not suggest that we needed any other services. They seemed very reasonable and honest.

I called and was able to get an appointment (with a specific time, not a big window of time!) the same week. They gave me a quote over the phone. They called the morning of the appointment to let me know they were running about 20 minutes behind. I appreciated the call. They were friendly and respectful and did a thorough job. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone. They were very competent and knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions on how to improve the safety and operation of the dryer.

After meeting with several providers who opted with Duct Man who had the best price and seemed to be the most knowledgable. We live in an old construction 3.5 level condo in Roslindale- which had an outdated dryer vent, which starts in the attic and goes all the way down to the first floor. Needless to say, this as not a challenge for this team! And they were a pleasure to have , quiet and courteous. They did not budge on their price and gave us a lower price because it "wasn't as complicated as they expected."
