The vendor showed up on time and did the job--but he imposed limits that had not been clearly stated in the deal.

Did not use the company because they had no openings.

I was expecting them to take the whole garage, instead they took a limited amount based on the Big Deal we had purchased.

Wonderful. They showed up exactly when they said they would and efficiently and neatly disposed of the junk. They seriously made my month. I had been looking at that trash for too long.

These guys were great. I had a load of stuff from my basement clean out and from a bathroom remodel that I had done in my house. They came on time, gave me advice on how to pack up the trash so that I could get the most for my money and just took everything. Get rid of stuff that you want to throw out is becoming harder and harder and Movers On the Go just made it very easy. I strongly recommend them.

I needed a mover on short notice. I called several movers on Angie's List that could not help me. Finally I found one that referred me to Movers on the Go. Iniitially I was sceptical - I had called other moving companies and they were all booked; so why would this one be available? Dominic (pardon if this is a mis-spelling) answered the phone and was very accomodating. I described what I needed to be moved and to where. (A move of approximately one room of furniture to an assisted living apartment approximately 30 miles away.) He gave me an estimate over the phone based on my description of the move and the items involved. At the last minute, I needed to shift the pick up time 30 minutes later. I called Dominic and he said "no problem". He and his assistant Andrew showed up precisely on time (I don't know how you do that in morning rush-hour traffic). The move was smooth and professional. They were respectful of the needs of the assisted living facility; to the extent that another resident asked for their business card.The move came in substantially under the estimate (yes I did some pre-work to make sure everything was staged), but the point is that they were honest about their terms. I would definitely call upon them again for a local move in the Boston area.

This was an enormous waste of money. What the coupon states and what they say when they show up are 2 different things. They took a little pile of irrelevant junk out of my basement. $149.00?? This past week, I got more serious and two guys filled their whole truck with everything in my basement, attic, and unwanted things from inside my house. $400. Was worth every penny. Really makes me doubt the worth of coupons.

5 months ago I purchased a Big Deal with Movers on the Go through Angie's List. I tried to reach them immediately to schedule, and have called multiple times over months. I have also emailed them. They have never called me back. The deal expires in two days and I finally got Dominic on the phone today. I asked to schedule a service and he was happy to accommodate until I told him it was a prepaid Big Deal. Then he said "I'm not doing those anymore". I told him I purchased this five months ago. He said "Sorry, I don't have time- I'm too busy with moving jobs". I said how about July- he said "No I'm busy then too". I said how about we look at your calendar and find a time that works for you" He said "Sorry, I'm not doing it". I said "You are refusing to honor this commitment?" He said "that's right". He told me I could try to get my money back from Angie's list if I wanted. He clearly couldn't care less about me or my business.

As planned. Within 3 hours they loaded a 26 foot truck. Were polite, courteous and followed directions to a T. Uneventful which is what you want with loaders. Price was very fair. When I called the owner about one issue, it was addressed immediately and with extreme professionalism.

They did a great job. The movers were friendly, professional and quick.

Spoke with Domenic Fazio to set up the removal. He explain in detail how much he could take based on the coupon deal that I was using. My husband said that they showed up on time and took everything that we had collected for them to take. They were extremely professional and polite. He was most pleased with their work and said that we would definitely use them again.

We had 3 conversations before he came. I had everything separated out so I could get the most bang for my buck it was very helpful.

It was very difficult to schedule an appointment with them (not calling back), they showed up 2 hours earlier (I was not ready) and the volume of removed junk was smaller than other companies can remove for half the price (and this was Angie's List deal, so their regular prices are even higher!). Overall it was an unpleasant experience.

When I contacted Movers on the Go to schedule my appointment, I was told that it would only take twenty minutes and that they would only handle 9 cubic feet. They said that they would not honor my deal and that I should call for a refund. They should have worded their Big Deal in a way that would be honest and upfront.

Movers were punctual, friendly, and professional. They even helped us move a large sofa to the street even though we weren't sending the sofa in their truck.

Better than expected. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of their work.

They were able to schedule an appointment quickly after I contacted them. They said they would arrive "before 11:30" that morning and got there around 11:30. They seemed annoyed by the junk I had (a pile of old wood). They said they were more interested in big pieces and appliances (things that have value as scrap, I'm guessing, and that don't take long to load on the truck). They also said that the amount of junk I had was "way over" the coupon limit of 9 cubic yards. Given that the wood pile was 4 x 4 x 8 (and that's being generous), it was, in fact, far under 9 cubic yards. They were also very gruff with my housemate when he asked them if they could also take some other pieces of wood that were out front. In short, if you're looking for junk removal, I think it would be better to go with a dedicated junk removal company, rather than a mover doing junk removal on the side -- or just buy a Bagster and hire a couple of college kids to fill it.

The move went very smoothly. I had been very stressed about how it was going to work out, and I was completely put at ease as soon as I met the team. They made me feel very comfortable with the way they handled my very old family furniture. The level of service was just great! My father had brought an additional old dresser for me, and they moved that as well--straight from his van onto the truck and into my new place. I don't know if you would get that kind of service from a large moving company. Also, I didn't have enough boxes and wardrobes to pack my clothes, but they provided all the extra packing materials I needed and then even took them back at the end so I wouldn't get charged for them! The whole move from start to finish took a little longer than I anticipated, (closer to 5 hours instead of the 3 I thought), but the hourly rate was great at $145. I definitely recommend this company for any size move! They handled my belongings with care and completely put my mind at ease. The entire team was great, and Domenic especially was very personable and easy-going, yet professional.

They showed up on time. Wrapped all of the pieces and reassembled the living room set at my inlaws. It was flawless and truly done professionally.

THe owner of the company Dominic came to give me an estimate which I really liked- I would rather have the person who is in charge of the actual move come and give me a sense of what is entailed vs. a sales rep which is what I got from every other company I got a quote from. We needed a crane for some of our furniture and that was included in the quote price. Dominic was professional and nice and I just liked him. His team showed up right on time and worked non-stop all day until the job was done. It took about 12 hours and they even moved the existing washer and dryer in our new house down to the basement and installed out own washer and dryer which was just great. I would highly recommend Dominic and his team.

Three men moved the contents of our home in a little over 11 hours. The job was bigger than originally anticipated because although there is a moderate amount of furniture for a three bedroom house we had a shed full of storage and well over 300 boxes packed. They were very hard workers and seemingly tireless given the length of the day they worked. They were courteous, sought input for where to place furniture and were very careful with everything they moved.
