Description of Work: I ordered the "Deal" for the service that I needed as one of Angie's List specialist assisted me in signing up for membership. He gave me the order number and told me I had to contact the company....I contacted the company as soon as I finished speaking with the specialist. The company told me they couldn't provide the service for the date I needed. Such a hassle now that I have to file for a refund. The company should have listed in their "Deal" which dates are not available like other companies. I chose them because they didn't list any "unavailable" dates. Other companies list their "unavailable" dates in their deals. That would save everyone's time.

Description of Work: I called Angie's with a question regarding a deal before purchase. My question was to double check the availability of the company since due to time constrains I wanted to make sure that my move will take place on Saturday, June 27. The deal that I called for did not work since the vendor had no availability. Angie's sales representative went ahead and helped me find the company which has the availability but was $50 more. Since I needed the service right away I accepted and with my credit card. I was told to call the vendor and schedule an appointment. I called left a voicemail also sent a follow-up email and then called again and finally got hold of the vendor. My first call he was confusing me with somebody else then he asked to call me back. I got a call back after 30 minutes and then the vendors asked me to explain him the deal and how I would be paying him then I told him that I have already paid with my credit card to Angie's List and they will pay him. He asked me about the details address and then said the deal you got his two guys you need one more guy which will cost you additional $145 and the job is not $350 it would cost you anywhere between eight to $900. I told him I don't have that kind of money that's the reason I was looking for a deal and then he said if you want to think about it think about her and then call us back let us know if you want the service. I was shocked that the price they have listed on the deal was $350 for two movers and a truck for three hours but he was going to charge me eight $900 for that. I feel that I got stuck now because my money is with Angie's and I will take about five business days before they could process my refund request and give me my money back. I find it very inconvenient and will never use or recommend this company to any of my friends or even to strangers.

Description of Work: They removed a lot of items from my basement. They did a good job. Scheduling and the workers were both good. The price did seem a little high.

Description of Work: Spoke to Dominique 6 month ago,and at the time I was told that there is no Expiration to this "Big Deal" However, when I contacted company this month seeking there services, I've been told :"We are no longer having this special."

Description of Work: They emptied debris from my garage. I paid a bit extra due to quantity of debris. The Deal itself was described incorrectly in the advertisement. He stated that this was not a "whatever we get out in four hours deal", but rather a certain amount of material, which if exceeded, would cost more. I was fine with that and it all worked out, but your advertisement was wrong (according to them). He commented that others were angry with him and I suggested he contact you to straighten it out.

Description of Work: The service provider would not give me a time that worked for me and when I still booked his time for an inconvenient time he did not show up and I left a disgruntled message and he did NOT call me back. i found his service to bad and the coupon to be a rip off!

Description of Work: Didn't use their services. Misplaced the coupon and by the time I had found it (expired) I was told they were no longer providing cleanout/ hauling services

Description of Work: company refused to honor Angies List voucher, said they "were too busy". Told them I did not need service immediately, could wait. Still no. Called A.L to complain, they suggested I try calling them again to explain and ask for future commitment. I did, never got a call back. Got a refund from A.L.*****Why would I (or anyone else associated with this service) ever consider using these characters?

Description of Work: Two men came with a dumpster and emptied my attic of 30 years accumulated junk. They worked like beavers, were neat and courteous, and got the job done in two hours. When they left, I felt wonderful. Best of all, they got the job done on very short notice because the next day we had insulation installed.

Description of Work: I purchased this for my partner as he wa forever complaining about having a ton of stuff to get to a dump and no time to deal with it. After I bought this for him as a Christmas present (for which he was THRILLED!) he began collecting stuff into one area and when he thought he had it all together , called and made an appointment. They were prompt, on time and quick about their biz. . .and nice as pie.

Description of Work: I cannot say enough good things about our experience with domenic and Movers on the Go. Truly excellent service. I scheduled our move with Domenic, and from start to finish he and his team were excellent and professional. This is my third move within Boston in five years, and movers on the go was BY FAR the best experience. They showed up on time and were ready to work (hard!) immediately. The guys carefully wrapped and padded our things, as if they were taking care of their own. I've had movers in the past who I've had to help out significantly, doing half the move ourselves and supervising. These guys were like a well oiled machine. They new exactly how to tackle the job and came prepared with the right equipment and didn't charge us extra for the wrapping or the use of the wardrobe boxes. We had a VERY tight fitting leather couch that needed to get up some stairs in a narrow hallway, and Domenic and Andrew made it happen, despite the fact that it looked impossible!! Domenic also helped us move a wardobe that we were trying to get rid of into a neighbors apartment, completely unexpectedly. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who's looking to hire responsible, professional, and friendly movers. It made our move so much less stressful. Thank you Domenic and team!!

Description of Work: After 20 years in my house, I wanted to clean out the garage and basement to get ready to sell in a couple years. I cleaned and organized both spaces and put junk/trash together. This included alot of wood pieces (large and small) from the workbench area, old paint, a complete weight set with benches and punching bag, old furniture,old construction debris from long ago projects and all the other treasures one collects after 20 years! I saw a coupon for 4 hours of junk removal for $149.00 and decided to purchase it. Dominic Fazio called me the next day (this was in Dec) and I told him I wasn't ready and that I would call him after the new year. I called him back in March and he came the next week on the day I requested. Dominic and Andrew arrived pretty much on time given the traffic where I live, took a look at what I had, and gave me a price of $300 additional to the $149 coupon to take the addition items I had. I feel it was a very good price for the amount and type of stuff I had. Some stuff would require special disposal since it was hazardous. Very nice guys, fast and efficient. Took care not to leave a mess/damage anything. All in all I am VERY happy with the service and the price.
