Father and Son Home Improvements

This is an update to my previous review for service in april of 2017. I took Bill to court. I won. He didn’t pay. I went to the payment review hearing. He skipped out again. There is now a warrant out for his arrest. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy.

I paid Bill $24,000 to fix a leak where my roof met the siding. He did not succeed in fixing the leak. He took all my money. I took him to court and won. I have not seen a dime from him regarding the settlement. Now, Bill will probably come on here and start calling me names, but I invite you to ask him some simple questions: 1.) Has he ever been sued? 2.) Was he found at fault? 3.) Is he not paying the court ordered damages required by law? If he answers no to any of these questions, he is lying to your face. I have documentation to prove what I have said and I sent it to angie’s List for further review. He has already been removed from thumbtack.com for the same issue. Do yourself a favor and hire almost anyone else for your job. I don’t want what happened to me to happen to you, this is why I’m letting everyone have this information. Thank you.

Wonderfully and promptly

Bill was very knowledgeable, gave us clear and fair pricing on the quote, and was upfront about the actual damage and repairs that had to be done. He also took pictures so we could see exactly what was going on. He is very friendly and we'd be happy to hire him again!

It went better than I could have imagined. I originally hired Bill and his team for the chimney removal and roof project. They got everything done in a timely fashion and were impressively neat, incredibly polite/friendly and they displayed great thoughtfulness and care with everything they did. We've had a number of contractors work on the house over time and Bill's team was the first time my tenants asked if we could have them back for future work ("Shane is great!" - my tenants). So when it came time for the Bathroom and washer/dryer project they were the first people I called and I haven't regret it for a second. In fact, I'm currently spending out a full apartment renovation with them.
