+ -1 moreClaudio was amazing. He immediately attacked the job with a professionalism and passion I have never seen in construction. The pergola is in Ipe wood.. The hardest wood there is. Claudio loves to work with wood and although Ipe can be difficult to work with he is able to handle it with no problems. Claudio's drive to perfection is unprecedented. He wants to do it right the first time and after consulting with me with the options he implements the solution without fail. During the process Claudio had many ideas how to make it better than the original and in the end it certainly was. Claudio says he builds his work like art and that his name lives on after he is gone. In this case I believe it will.. I could not have found a better person to do this job.
Description of Work: Build a modular Pergola of Ipe wood with benches, 2 planters and removable bamboo roof panels on a 6th floor private roofdeck. . The pergola is a reproduction of an existing one on a 60th floor roofdeck in Chicago. Approval was required by the HOA and the city of Brookline. The vendor had to work through the approval and permitting process.
