You recieve services directly from me. I am insured and bonded. If other services are needed I will provide you with the necessary resources to complete your project. An organizational session begins with a phone call to complete contact information and the specifics of the job. If an initial visit is needed, one hour is charged and deducted from the first session.

I provide services for anyone who is need of decluttering their home in order to move, downsize, age in place. I also provide time management strategies for both adults and students. Once the job is completed I can also directly or virtually provide a maintenance plan.

I do not physically remove items from the home or sell their items but can contact the necessary business to complete the job.I am not an errand person.

Claire is a very pleasant person to work with which is important when you hire an organizer. She was thoughtful, respectful, and followed my lead while also making some great suggestions that we ended up following.
Description of Work: I hired Claire to help me sort out piles of papers and also to reorganize my kitchen.

Claire did an awesome job, especially with setting up a filing system which I'm still using 6+ months later. She answered my inquiry promptly, showed up on-time, used the right amount of pressure to get me to throw things away, had a lot of creative ways to organize things that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Overall, it was well worth the money.
Description of Work: In preparation for a move, I needed help turning years of files into a more organized system, packing multiple rooms in a way that would be easy to unpack, etc.

Claire worked wonders in cleaning out and organizing the storage space. I was sure it would take days, but working together we really worked a miracle in 4 hours leaving the space visibly organized and accessible and leaving me with an itemized list of things to be donated. Claire absolutely has a gift for organizing and I am grateful for the work.

Last Monday Claire swooped in on our house, to good effect. It was mildly epic. We focused on two rooms, and moved some furniture within and between them. We both had some good ideas that built off each other, and my husband happily moved a few things. The living room looks like a room where people might live and enjoy spending time now. The front bedroom looks like a sewing/knitting workroom that has a lovely futon for guests to sleep on. Both rooms look so much more coherent now.
Description of Work: Claire spent a morning helping to evaluate, re-imagine, and rearrange two rooms of the house. She gave suggestions for organizing, helped move furniture, and provided a great sounding board for new ideas (ideas arising from the combination of us both!)

Claire is extremely prompt. She sees right through the chaos and knows exactly where to begin in on efficient and easy way. She has a gift- understand my needs and helped me. I recommend her enthusiasm and caring of my needs.
Description of Work: Claire has provided organizing services to me over an extended period of time servicing a vanity of different areas in my home. Basement-took a very chaotic storage area-helped with the sating, creatively design basement so it is better functioning helped organize my closet as well as my home office.

When my husband and I decided we might in the next few years think about moving and downsizing from a three story house plus basement, garage and shed, that we lived in for almost a quarter of a century, we were totally at a loss as to where to begin ?decluttering?. A friend recommended Claire Newman from ?Clearly Organized Living.? She interviewed us separately to find out what our goals were. They were very different. With Claire?s help, we were able to do a healthy round of decluttering. She had ideas as to what to do with medical equipment, paints, exercise equipment and almost anything. Many of her ideas were helpful to charities as well as tax write offs. Claire was and is a delight to work with. She loves her work and it shows. She also helps organize what you are keeping. When we decided to move, she measured all our furniture and placed in on floor plans to help us decide what would fit and what wouldn?t fit into our new house. Prior to moving, Claire gave us a timeline with tasks to make it doable. She gave us a system to track the contents of boxes and furniture to direct the movers. Our move went so smoothly. Thank you Claire! She is amazing and very reasonably priced. We could not have done it without her.
