Description of Work: I needed snow removed from my driveway. There was no place for a plow to put additional snow. I needed someone to move the snow from my driveway to the front lawn with a Bobcat. I left Dan Otto a message which he returned within about an hour. He came by later that day to evaluate the job. He gave me an estimate and returned the next day with another man to do the job. The price was lower than the estimate. He was able to move a great deal of the snow, just as he explained the previous day. I highly recommend Otto Construction.

Description of Work: My house was purchased branch new and is now 6 years old. The builder, alhough we thought he was reputable, did a shotty job on many aspects of this home. During a recent storm, we lost a good part of our roof and suffered water damage in our home as a result. We contracted with Dan Otto, owner of Otto Construction who was referred to us by a friend. When I reached out to Dan via his voicemail, he was extremely responsive. He came out the next day as promised to give us an estimate. A date was set and Dan and his crew arrived. At my home for three days, more than half my roof had to be replaced. Dan found that the builder cut corners when the roof was installed by not placing enough nails in each shingle, and the nails he did put in were not in the correct place on the shingles, which made them tear and blow off the roof during the storm. In addition, we had a piece of rotted wood on one of our dormers which was very high up. Although this was not part if the written contract, my husband asked Dan if he could take out the rotted wood and replace with new wood. Dan had already taken down his ladders and staging at this point. He didn't thonk twice about putting it back up to satisfy our needs.
