I needed a home inspection for a house I was about to purchase and called a couple different providers from Angies List. Most were not taking appointments in the near future but Dale was able to schedule me in for the next week. He was on location early and got there before me. They (2 of them) explained the entire process to me as they inspected everything in the house and gave me additional pointers to look. They were very detailed and took pictures of all the issues and informational items. They then emailed me a detailed report with their findings that same morning. I would recommend them. Inspection cost includes the cost of Radon inspection as well.

The inspection went well. Everything was explained to me in detail, and the report included detailed information and pictures of issues.

Kent's inspection was thorough and his documentation was clear and organized. He revealed several issues with the house that were cause for concern. Initially, his finding were a bit overwhelming, especially since we thought the house was in above-average condition. However, his findings have functioned as our to-do list for the house, and the more major concerns made it possible to negotiate on the price of the house.

They found a number of problems in the houses that we were interested in. They discovered items that were not visible to the average home buyer. They explained everything and even showed us how they came to their conclusions when needed. They were on time, efficient, personable, and easy to talk to about concerns we had as buyers. Their reports were ready in a matter of minutes after the inspection was done and they were available to respond to any questions we had after reading it. I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting a great complete home inspection.

I hired Dale from Dream Weaver to do a home inspection for my family and I at a home in Walpole. These guys are amazing, they uncovered lots of small items that over all added up to large amount of cost for a new homeowner. The provided us with a 64 page detailed report which blew my mind and it was clear that he was working on behalf of us. He was reasonably priced. We never took that home because of all the flaws that was uncovered. We found another home in Hanover and immediately hired Dale and his team again and they performed another great inspection. This time we found the right home for us and if it wasn't for Dale we would've made the wrong decision for our family. Thanks Dale.

Dale and a colleague were there for 2+ hours, explained every aspect, did an extremely thorough job, and gave really useful information for our decision. He was responsive, very detailed, clearly a very experienced professional, in addition to being a very personable guy with a good sense of humour. Very much on the homebuyer's side (not box ticking to pass bank mortgage approvals).

We enjoyed working with Dale from Dreamweaver. He is very good with first time home buyers as he explains all issues in detail and in terms we understood. He appeared to be very thorough. He provides a typed report and was very responsive with any questions we had. I would recommend him.

Dreamweaver was extremely friendly and professional. I was able to follow along with the inspection taking notes as we went. The guys were very knowledgeable and eager to share what they discovered with me. The house is an older home. It was built in 1890 with lots of character. I expected to learn that the home needed a little TLC, and Dreamweaver helped me see things I would not have seen on my own. We started outside the house and then went under the decks and ultimately inside the house. They were extremely thorough and made many suggestions about what they saw and provided guidance for what to do next. We discussed the older construction of the house compared to how codes and construction methods have changed since 1890. There were parts of the house that we could not access, so the guys explained what to look for I bought the house and explored further. The inspection report was completed and in my hands within twenty-four hours of the service. Overall it was a great experience working with Dreamweaver and I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to others looking for a thorough inspection.

Dale was very thorough and knowledgeable when conducting our home inspection. He did a great job pointing out all the details of the property and explaining current issues as well as problems that may arise in the future. Dale and his apprentice were professional, on time, and very friendly. Being first time home buyers, we did not know what to expect and Dale was able to put our minds at ease!

He was pretty comprehensive and a nice guy. He is very very thorough and very informative.

Dale was able to schedule a visit to the house we are planning on buying within a week of our first contact. On the phone he explained in detail what the procedure would be for the inspection and he began to instruct us as to what is important to look for before buying a house. The day of the inspection Dale arrived shortly before our scheduled appointment with an assistant in tow. Dale then began a very thorough inspection of the house starting with the basement and moving up. We spent a full hour in the basement going over every system and discussing the condition of the foundation. Dale looked everywhere and removed the cover to the circuit breaker and the heating system. Dale was clearly well versed with Massachusetts building codes as well as proper construction techniques. In fact, his knowledge of all things related to the proper function and structure of a house seemed quite vast. In response to questions we asked we learned about pyrolysis and sacrificial anodes among many other details. No question was treated as unimportant or bothersome. As we took our time progressing through the house Dale explained clearly what needed our attention and what was not a concern. He found evidence of wasp activity that the home owners hadn't even noticed. Dale opened every window, scanned every wall and ceiling for signs of water damage. The backyard was inaccessible due to the snow, but Dale made an effort to get around to the back of the house and to examine the deck. In the attic Dale diagnosed an insulation problem that was leading to ice dams and he suggested a fix. At the end we got a thorough and easy to read report emailed to us. We also got some peace of mind that we were not heading into a boondoggle once we chose to purchase the house. Dale was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I would hire him again without a second thought.

Our interaction with Dale was wonderful from start to finish. We needed someone to inspect a home on short notice and Dale was able to fit us in. He arrived on time, and from the minute he stepped out of the car he was already assessing the home. Dale's attention to detail was incredible. He was professional, but also friendly and funny. As new homeowners he put us at ease. He also took time to show us how things work, and to let us know what to watch for in the future. At the end of the inspection, after Dale had gone, we realized we hadn't asked him for a radon kit. We called Dale and he was so kind as to pull over at a gas station and wait for us to come meet him to pick up a kit. In the end we bought the house, and we used the home inspection to help us not only negotiate with the homeowners, but to plan and prioritize work for when we move in. As an aside, Dale had told us we needed to get the chimney and front steps looked at by a chimney specialist/mason. We did that and not only did the specialist make the same assessment as Dale (both in work needed and price) they also commented that we should put gutters on the front of the house--something Dale had noted. It was just further validation of Dale's extensive knowledgebase and how spot on he was. Dale was great to work with. He's honest and he cares about customer service.

Amazing!!! Not only can Dale do home inspections with impeccable detail, he is also an excellent handyman and can fix anything. He has a great sense of humor, and was extremely helpful with giving me his advice on colors, and completing my painting and my handywork. He is hard worker, and very meticulous, and detail oriented. I will be using Dale again for any home improvements I have. Also used him for my home inspections. He did a through job, and provided a very detailed report for each home inspection. If there was a higher rating beyond the A, I would definitely give it to Dale.

Dale was punctual, accurate and extremely thorough. Each inspection ran about three hours during which he encouraged me to walk around with him and ask any questions I had. He explained everything he was looking at, the potential repairs down the road and possible ramifications if the work was not done. During the first home inspection Dale had identified structural issues with an undersized beam that was twisting away from its supports. I had a contractor come in after and do a separate estimate for the homeowner and it turned out that Dale was spot on in his assesment. Dale also identified potential issues with some retaining walls, I had a mason come in for an estimate and again, Dale was spot on. He identified signs of insect infestation in one area of the basement, a day after the inspection the sellers realtor disclosed there had been termite damage in 2006. The second home inspection was equally thorough and accurate. He identified some electrical issues, support issues with a deck and pointed out some potential issues with the siding job and the sill of the house. The sellers realtor offered to have his contractor come out the next day and assess the repairs Dale stated were needed. Once again, Dale was spot on. The sellers contractor agreed the work needed doing and I'm currently about to sign a purchase and sales with as worry free of a mind as possible. Dale also takes the time to enter his report onto a disc, to make for easy sharing with all parties. The reports have been thorough and informative. I will recommend his services to anybody. Oh, and he also knocked 50 bucks off his price of the second visit, without me asking, simply because I was a repeat customer. I'd also point out that a home inspectors job is to make you aware of current and potential issues with a home. He will let you know if something was done poorly, out of code, or needs to be replaced all together. As a buyer, this is the guy you want in your corner. You may not like what he has to say, but that's like disagreeing with the doctor if he tells you it's time to lose weight.

Dale Weaver's cohort Bryan Parrish arrived somewhat before the hour indicated; Dale arrived about 20 minutes late and without my asking discounted the cost by $50 (final cost, $100). The walkaround took about as long as a usual home inspection would. I accompanied them 100% of the time. I asked for and received answers to questions including how best the problems could be solved and in some instances ballpark estimates of what the different jobs might cost. As they are both general contractors themselves, I asked about two possible construction projects in addition to the house as it presently is and they provided answers. They referred me to the kind of contractors to contact or businesses to visit to purchase materials or services needed. Dale offered to review any bids I received via phone free of charge and provide advice on anything missing and its pricing. The amount of work on this property is going to be extensive and in some cases expensive but of course it is better to know and do something about them before a formal inspection makes the house impossible to sell.

Dale was ontime. He came on the weekend with very little notice and proceeded to be very through as he inspected. He got into al the nooks and crannies of the house and was careful to explain his findings to us as he did the inspection. As he went he also took copious notes. As a general contractor, he was also able to give us estimates of repair costs for the items that were discovered during inspection. He concluded by giving us a CD of all inspection findings at the end of the inspection. This was WELL worth our time and money.
