 + -1 moreJust had Dave at my home to repair my refrigerator, specifically the freezer. Dave is extremely honest which is rare in repair services these days. No parts were needed, and he could have told me anything and I would have believed him since I have no knowledge of appliance parts and repairs. The cost was low, $165 total, and the repair was quick and easy. I recommend him highly!

Description of Work: He repaired our stacked gas dryer whose drum was squeaking horribly. Dave returned calls right away and did a very thorough job and knew to bring a helper for the lifting required!

Description of Work: Our HE Washer would not spin on most cycles and we were getting LF Error Codes (this had been going on for quite some time and had gotten to the point where the washer was almost useless). Dave was very prompt, professional and helpful. He gave our machine a thorough going over and explained what was wrong with the machine and what the costs would be for parts and repairs. He told he us he would fix the machine, but that we might want to consider spending our money on another machine (which we were already considering) instead of spending our money on repairs. We appreciated his honesty. If I ever need an appliance repaired again, I'm definitely calling Dave. It's nice knowing we have someone we can depend on.

 + -1 moreDave was great, starting with the initial phone call all the way through to the end. He returned my first call within ten minutes even though I called well after normal business hours. He even gave me troubleshooting tips to try first in an attempt to save me money. Think about that for a second...he gave me advice on how to fix the problem myself at no charge, potentially costing himself a pay day. When those tips didn't pan out he was at my house within 48 hours and made the repair. What's more he followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend him and I will use him again for appliance repair in the future.

 + -1 moreDave promptly returned my phone call, and listened as I explained what had happened with my Washing machine. He told me straight out that based on my description and the model, that the repairs would most likely exceed the cost of replacing it. He explained the history of the machine, as well as gave me his advice based on experience. This saved me time and money in the long run instead of spending a lot of money on a machine that I hadn't spent much money on in the first place. I would highly recommend anyone in the area reaching out to Dave with any appliance problems that they have. Thank you Dave!

 + -1 moreHe was easy reach. Pinpointed the problem by the diagnosis over the phone. Quoted a price to repair my washer. He came out the same day and repaired it in no time. I finally found a dependable appliance repair person. He is an electrician as well.
Description of Work: Repaired washing machine that was not agitating or spinning. He said that although the washer was old it was well built and would last approximately 9 years so I felt it was worth fixing.

Description of Work: The refrigerator was not cooling consistently. He found dust accumulated under the refrigerator and cleaned it out, and checked the back of the refrigerator for the fan and any dirt back there. He did a great job explaining the working of the refrigerator and what to look for in the future.

Description of Work: I called Dave to help fix a dryer. Not only did he respond to the call immediately, he reported to my house a half hour early than the designated time. Dave was very professional, knowledgeable, and if I needed someone again I would not hesitate to call him again. He is definitely worthy of an A rating! The best thing about the service call is I didn't need to spend good money on getting a new dryer, he was able to fix the problem.

 + -1 moreHe fixed the switch and then he said I had to go out a get a new fixture. To fix the switch he charged me $140 in labor, $48 service charge, and $20 for the switch. It took him 12 minutes! He was nasty and belligerent. He told me originally he would take a credit card and then when he came he said he didn't and forced me to write a check. I feel like he took advantage of me.
Description of Work: He was to work on a light in the kitchen and fix a switch.
