Cheaper to replace than repair, so only paid for diagnostic work and bought new machine. Young man arrived very promptly, completed his investigation and explained his analysis of the problem.

On 4/15/19 I posted a review indicating that I had never been contacted when I asked for a price quote. I received a call from the owner this afternoon and it looks like there may have been a miscommunication. I still did not receive any messages from technicians but I truly appreciated the owner's willingness to reach out and still offer his services. If I had known about his prices from the get go, I likely would have hired this company as the price beat competitors in the area. After hearing from them, I would contact this company in the future if any repairs fit their expertise.

I requested a quote from this business via Angie's List and was never contacted. No work was performed so I cannot judge quality, fairness of pricing, or anything else.

Fellow took the machine apart, spent time trying everything he could think of, and did the repair.

Diagnostic test revealed need new drip pan. Part had to be ordered

Ken came out Sunday (we called Saturday afternoon). He drained the machine, diagosed the problem, and came back later with the part he had ordered. He fixed the machine and it works perfectly now. He was very candid in telling us what it would cost and whether it was worth repairing or not . He showed up on time and kept his word on everything. In a word, he was perfect.

Efficient, fast, helpful advice. Helped guide the decision on repair versus replacement and provided a meaningful and inexpensive fix.

The technician was great. He did troubleshooting on the first visit, had to order a part, and came back a few days later for a quick install. He also helped me out on one of the days in between when I had a question about the repair on a Sunday afternoon. I was really pleased with the service and price.

Service person Ken determined the cause of our problem and estimated the cost of repairs. After talking over our options with Ken , we determined our best option was to purchase a new dishwasher.

I was finding water pooling next to my Amana refrigerator top/freezer bottom. Called Affordable Appliance. Had to leave a message but they called me back the same day and gave me a window of time when they could be there. Jeff showed up on time, gave me an estimate, and fixed the problem! The likely culprit was a rubber valve in the back which tends to 'gum up' and become sticky, leading to a backup in the drainage system. He thawed all the ice in the vents and removed the ice that accumulated in the bottom of the freezer. Appreciated the clear communication, quick troubleshooting, and professionalism. Thanks!

Went very well. Russell was on time, professional and, affordable. He got right to work and took the time to explain the issues. The work was done quickly and he didn’t try to go slow to charge for additional labor.

I had a very good experience. They showed up on time, performed the work at the prices stated which I considered to be very reasonable. I also showed the tech my refrigerator door that wouldn't close properly. He identified the problem, and made arrangements to come back the same day with the replacement part and made the repair. I would definitely hire this company again.

The company responded to my email inquiry quickly, and the technician contacted me the same day to schedule a visit. He was on time, but needed to order a part. He called me two days later when the part came in, scheduled to come back on New Year's Day, and quickly completed the job. The prior homeowners had not installed the dishwasher correctly, so he also fixed that, leveled the dishwasher and realigned the unit. He was very polite and professional. Very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to call them again.

This company always has someone on call 24/7 They schedule you asap which has benn within 1-2 days depending on the urgency of the situation. They call when your service person is on his way Friendly, knowledgeable, excellent work!

Great. He arrived on time, was professional, expert, friendly and honest. He found the cause of the problems. He explained the problems, solutions and price clearly. I was very pleased with the work and price. It was my first time using them and now they are my go to for any future repairs. The prices they charge are truly affordable.

They came out the next day and resolved the issue. I would definitely use them again.

The freezer was repaired, but did break again, and this time likely for good a few months later. Hard to say it was perfect work, but I acknowledge my unit may have been at the end of the line. In the end, I did get more time out of the freezer, so I guess it was acceptable.

Prompt response on inquiry via voicemail (direct link from Angie's List). Scheduled to come out in less than a week. Showed up, promptly and evaluated a Maytag washing machine that was going unbalanced. Gave quote on repair, but advised that our best option was to get a new washer. Appreciated the honest feedback instead of selling work for him to do. Will definitely trust and call Affordable Appliances in the future. Also got Angie's List discount for the service call cost.

I reached out to Affordable Appliance to inquire whether or not they would diagnose and fix a problem with a side by side GE fridge/freezer with a water dispenser that is about 8 years old. I got a call back from Bill and explained that I thought the freezer fan motor had stopped functioning and in addition the water dispenser was not working properly. He stated that he stopped servicing GE appliances because they were "junk" and have a lot of issues. Not a big help, but I thanked him anyway. No work was performed.

Jeff showed up on time . The appointment went well and I was glad to have my dryer fixed. My only disappointment was that they have limited hours of service, so I had to take a few hours off from work for the appointment. They did not have Saturday or evening hours available.

We called two other appliance repair companies and set up appointments for next week. Affordable called us on Saturday morning, was here in 20 minutes, diagnosed and fixed the problem and was totally done within the hour. Have used in the past and always find them responsive and honest. I highly recommend Affordable Appliance.
