It was not a perfect experience. He was doing the same repair on two different refrigerators and accidentally broke the ice maker. He put one on to somebody else’s house and came over to my house and accidently broke it while he was putting it in. So I had to wait a week for that. But then I found out that he had fallen down a set of stairs. He was in pain and not walking too well. It could have been faster but because of the circumstances I cannot pull that against him. I had to buy two bags of ice and he have could refunded the cost of the ice.

I called them and they came out within an hour. They are absolutely excellent. The gentleman Ritchie that came was very good and did his best. He could have told me that he could fix my dish washer but it was cheaper for me to go out and fix it. He also spent some time on it too. My refrigerator downstairs was not working at all and I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. He told me what to do. He checked a couple of things and tried something to see if it worked. He said that it must have just been stuck in the defrost mode and he could try and get it working. He said that we would have to wait for a couple of days and see how it does; otherwise it would be a major repair. It was what he thought it was and it didn’t cost me anymore money. He could have told me that it was some big repair and I wouldn’t have known. I think he was very honest in working with the customer. Everything’s holding up good. There were no complications with him. He called right back and told me when he was coming. He was there the same day. I will absolutely use his services again in the future.

It was fair. We had been informed prior to setting up the appointment.

They are incredibly responsive. The guys are incredibly knowledgeable and they don't try to tell us that they can fix something they can't fix. They are really honest. They are reasonably priced and they don't price gouge. Their prices aren?t any more than other places. I?m sure they are places that do it cheaper but not with the quality. They are very punctual. We?ve been using them on and off for years. Anything my husband can?t fix, they fix. We love them.

I spent about $80 for fixing the washer and dryer. I have used them multiple times to fix different appliances. I use them because they are honest. They fix things correctly. They will tell you if something is worth fixing or not. They recommended me a new piece of equipment when I wanted it. They clean up well. They have the same people that show up everytime. The owner and another person come out everytime. I would use them again in the future.

The guy luckily had the part on him, but it was luckily because they don't have anymore and they didn't make anymore. The visit was free, but had I known more about what he could do, I probably would have given him other jobs.

I called about a problem I was having with my Thermadore double ovens. The lock on the upper door got stuck in the "engaged" position while the oven door was open (thus preventing me from closing the door to use the oven) and we couldn't figure out how to disengage it. We called Thermadore, who flatly declined to help, at any price, because there was supposedly no service provider in our area. (We live in downtown Boston, are you kidding?) So I randomly picked a few repair places off the internet and this one came up. Not only did they call me back promptly, the serviceman (I am sorry that I can't remember his name because I'd have loved to provide that information here) actually walked me through how to fix the problem over the phone, (it took about 10 minutes) and said he wouldn't charge me! It was surely one h*** of a good tactic to build customer relations. The next time I need anything, you can bet Affordable will be the first place I call.

It went very well. I called them and they came quickly. I use them of any appliance problem. They are very knowledgeable.

The service was fine, I just thought it was a little more expensive than it should have been. They charge a fee to just show up at my home. I'm happy to pay for time and material, but to just show up and have to pay for that, seems unreasoable.

The repair technician showed up on a timely basis and discovered that the problem was not that subtantial and he made the repair. So in terms of punctuality and professionalism, I give Affordable Appliance good marks. However, the bill was too high for the work performed. This is true because -- like some other similar service providers -- Affordable charges a basic fee essentially just for showing up. The repair techician was in my house for all of about 15-20 minutes and the bill was over $100. At that rate, is there hourly rate $400 per hour? Becasue that is what it would work out to be based on my experience. It seems to that in In routine cases such as mine, the basic diagnostic fee should be waived. Charging me any more than $50 for a very quick (15 minute) and very easy repair was unfair, at least in my opinion. But again, the work was done properly

I thought that they were very good and reasonable. They called back the same day and came within two days to fix it. The price they quoted was what they actually charged us.

It seems to be working fine now. They did what they were asked to do and didn't try to upsell replacement parts. I appreciated that.

Fantastic is the best word I could use to describe this company. They are prompt, fair about what they charge, really great to work with, they always come to help me out, and I have used them multiple times now. I love my appliance repair guys to be honest. They are just great in every sense of the word.

They are reasonable and very prompt. We have used them six or seven times over the years and have never had a problem.

Another good experience. He returned my phone calls and arrived when he told me he would. I found his prices to be reasonable and he delivered quality service. I would recommend him to others and have him back again.

Richie called back promptly after being paged and arranged a time for the repair. He called again when he was en route. He asked me to clear the area around the dryer before his arrival, which I did. He disassembled the dryer and also cleaned out all the accumulated lint of a decade or so. Richie has repaired washers, dryers, refrigerators and dishwashers for us over the last 15 years, always with professionalism, friendliness and promptness. I can't evaluate the prices, because I haven't wanted to call anyone else.

RICHIE CAME TO US ON SCHEDULE. HE QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, EXPLAINED IT TO US, AND WORKED QUICKLY TO REPLACE THE FAULTY PART. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. THE PRICE SEEMED A LITTLE HIGH, BUT I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF PREVAILING PRICES FOR THIS WORK.

NEXT DAY SERVICE. HE CAME EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. SERVICE GOOD BUT PRICEY.

ALSO DO FRIDGES AND DISPOSALS. COME AT A REASONABLE TIME.
