Very friendly, polite, and accommodating. Work was completed quickly and the finished product was well done. Only company I could get to even look at the job as it was an aluminum porch badly in need of a new roof. I am very pleased with the quality work .I would hire them again , and would recommend them to anyone!

Work experience

After talking to Weuler about finding shingles in my driveway and seeing others loose on my roof with rain in the forecast he really understood my problem. He came out immediately with help and made an excellent temporary repair that received me of my worries that rain will damage my interior walls. I fund him to be very knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and polite. He is the type of person all contractors should take after.

This Co. Does not do spot jobs.I wouldve left 4.5 stars because they did great work on the roof with excellent customer service. However, for our job they used bull dumpster for their waste needs. The dumpster co. Said they gautantee 1-3 buss.days pick up. But that included the weekend for us. So 6 days later, we have a patch of dead grass on our lawn.

Very responsive and scheduled quickly. I needed my porch roof and other 1st level sections redone. There were several sections of rotted wood that they replaced and did a very thorough job. Reasonably priced as well. My only complaint is that one of my hosta plants and a couple of path lights were trampled/broken in the process. That being said, I will hire them again for additional roof work when needed. Thanks!

This company was Prompt, courteous, fair and most accommodating. They looked at the problem and told me .. we can do the work now! And was fair in price. But also did extra and did not charge me. When I need a new roof J & S is my go to. Thank you home advisors!! 🤙🎃🍁

Universal came in did a two day job in one day. They had a stager, a cleanup crew and a work crew allowed for a very efficient day. Area was spotless when they left. Workers pleasent. Roof windows are in.

Universal J&S did a great job replacing the shingles on my roof. The crews were very hard working and finished the job in record time. The new shingles look great! They communicated with me frequently before and during the job to make sure I knew what to expect and to communicate their progress. And the price was cheaper than other quotes I received. I highly recommend Universal J&S to anyone.

Pros: they were great in giving me options about repairing a leak in my roof and ended up giving me a great estimate to replace the entire roof, cheaper than any other roof replacement I had received from 3 other companies! They were mostly communicative. They also had women on the job site, which I loved to see. The roof looks great! They were super quick. They also send you pictures so you can see the progress of the work. Areas for growth: it was a very messy job removing my current roof and their tarps kept breaking leaving debris everywhere, including my 3 neighbor's yards. Luckily my neighbors were understanding when I apologized to them. The crew cleaned my yard pretty well, but my neighbors had to clean their own yards. I think if they were able to improve their tarp system to ensure they don't break, this issue could be mitigated. There are also tears in one of my window screens and one of my hydrangeas couldn't handle the impact of all the debris and is now dead. So, in terms of the roof, excellent so far and it looks great! The price was also great! The crew was nice and John and Jeff were communicative, which was great. Just think they could improve their service with their tarps not breaking and cleanliness of the job.

This company hit it out of the park. I got a 50 year warranty gaf certified roof and it was done in one day with a crew that worked perfectly. I received four quotes three from big box national roofing companies and Universal J&S Construction Inc. came in at least 20% lower than everyone else I felt comfortable with the owner and his sales team. They didn t pressure me to sign on right away like the other quotes I received. They offered monthly payment financing at a very low rate and I even hired them to do my camper because it had some water damage on it. Since then my sister-in-law has hired them and she has been extremely satisfied with their work and more than happy with their prices. What I liked the most about Universal was from the second they started the job I received live pictures of each process as they were doing the job. It was impressive to say the least. Do yourself a favor and call on Universal for anything roof related they are the best.

When I bought my new home, I knew a new roof was going to happen in the next few years, but I was not planning on replacing the roof immediately until I was encouraged to by insurance. Stressed out by this unexpected expense and project, I started contacting roofers. Universal J&S came by and blew me away with their price. When I hired them, we made an appointment for the following week. They came on a Friday, and I had a new roof in 5 hours. Cool thing was how they texted me live updates and images of the roof. They did everything right and now I have a brand new, beautiful looking GAF certified roof! Highly recommend.

They said they would be there at 7am and they were! They were the hardest bunch of workers. They stayed till the job was done, then did great job cleaning up😄👍

I am really happy with my new roof! J & S Construction removed all old layers to make sure new roof is done right. Their customer service was excellent, and they left the sight clean. I will definitely call them again.

Fair quote and prompt service. Had some roof cap shingles replaced and J&S did a great job.

Project: Replace roof on house and garage,flash chimneys,replace gutters and install 2 new windows. Excellent communication throughout the project. John answers the phone when you call and keeps you informed. Handled all the permit process. Explained the process and kept me updated with real-time pictures on cell. Excellent work done in a timely manner. They also corrected work that was not done correctly by a previous contractor. Cleaned up completely when the job was done. Very professional and well run company. Would highly recommend to anyone. I wish all contractors were like universal J&S.
