R & A did a great job this year and last year. Jose and his crew were very professional, friendly, and on time. Christina in the office was very professional and friendly. She returned my calls with a quote and a scheduled time that fit my schedule.

Great. These guys are super-professional. Communication was perfect. They were right on time and work was performed to my total satisfaction.

Went well - have had them for couple of years, and rehire them every year - price is good.

I thought that they did a very cursory and sloppy job the first time around. There were bushes they omitted to trim altogether and the ones they did trim were done sloppily. But when I said so, "R" immediately scheduled a return visit and came back when I was around and corrected what they had done. I was impressed by his insistence that they do it properly. When he returned, he could see that his "men" hadn't done a good job the first time around. So it is important to make sure they know what it is you want them to do. But I believe that "R" does know his business.

It was OK except he pulled out all the lily of the valley. He thought they were weeds and I informed him that it was a flower. I feel that he does not understand flowers and plants.

Tremendously well. I am overwhelmed by the amount of work they did and at very fair price. They did exactly what I asked for. I will also be using him to maintain my front lawn (which wasn't part of original job). He was very prompt returning my call and arriving to do free estimate. Please don't hesitate to give them a call.

RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT HIRE! I've been using R&A for a total of less than 10 times and decided to part ways after a very nasty experience from both from the wife and the owner. The wife handles all the communication and scheduling, but the language barrier is a huge factor of all of their disorganization and poor business operation. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. They wanted to charge me $50 to cut 2 branches and a small weed tree. This was never clarified with me when I inquired about the estimate to cut the branches. She quoted me $50 instead of $40 (which i what we regularly pay), never mentioning this was for the branches ONLY. Today, they were here for less than 10 minutes, and left with the grass long and not mowed. When I reached out to the wife for clarification she kept saying that I didn't book them for that, I went back to look at my text messages and sure enough, I asked her to book me for grass and weed trimming to which she responded they'd be here on Monday. The back and forth with the language barrier became very stressful and when I called the husband he started yelling at me on the phone! I couldn't believe this guy was yelling at me for a mistake HIS wife made. They asked me not to pay -since I was complaining about $50 for an incomplete job- but to not do business with them again. GLADLY!

Rogero and his team just left, and we couldn't be happier! The house and the yard look amazing! They spent the day cleaning, edging and mulching the gardens, and he explained that if we keep this maintenance up yearly in a few years weeds will be a thing of our past. We will certainly be calling Rogero again for this same service next year and the year after that (as well as any other landscaping needs that might come up). They were timely, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend R&A to anyone that is looking for fairly priced, professional landscapers that you can rely on. As a matter of fact, while at our home, 3-4 neighbors took their number - we would be so happy if our project netted more happy customers for Rogero and team. It went very well -- very responsive staff, did the work well, it looked great.

After waking up to the gardeners mowing my lawn at 7:30am, I called R&A to inform them that our scheduled spring clean up and planting was for tomorrow and NOT today. I didn't even have the plants yet from the nursery. When I spoke to the wife she said they moved the cleanup up a day due to rain forecasted for that day. I corrected her and said the rain would be Saturday night into Sunday. After our disagreement over the forecasted weather and for them showing up a day early from our scheduled clean up on may 12th, the wife terminated their service that day and told me it was too hard to schedule me and to find another service. Then Robert showed up at my door an hour later and we disagreed about the weather forecast and them showing up a day earlier than we had schedule. When I tried to explain that his wife made a mistake in scheduling, and I had the text conversation to prove it, he instructed me that he would finish the yard, and that he was quitting over the misunderstanding. And when I finally tried to show that this was not my mistake but his wife's scheduling, he threatened me with violence if I spoke out against his wife any further. R&A could not admit that there was a mis communication and be professional about it and try to salvage the job/client. They just quit and when I tried to show my text conversations as well as the updated weather forecast for no rain on may 12th, that is when I was threatened. When a service provider threatens you with violence on you own property, it's time to end the relationship. I would think carefully about hiring a service provider with anger issues who threaten a customer for amiscommunication due to their part.

R&A was awesome. I called them and got someone on the phone immediately. I do not live in the area and I was looking to hire someone to do a yard cleanup at my in laws house as an early Christmas gift. Several providers didn't seem inclined to do the work since I wasn't personally there, but R&A provided a quote and then just sent me the bill. My in laws loved the work that they did. They did a fantastic job and my in laws raved about how good the yard looked and they now plan to use R&A for a fall clean-up every year. The price was also very reasonable and the whole thing went very smoothly.

Very responsive and professional! They are very fair on the price. Three other neighbors also signed up with them too and they are extremely happy like me! I intend to repeat the same lawn care service from R&A in the future!

R & A Landscaping responded quickly to my request for an estimate and came by as scheduled. I explained what I wanted done and we agreed on a price. We exchanged emails and agreed on Tuesday at 1pm and I scheduled my business meetings around that time. I work from home on that day. I walk my dogs in the early morning and when I got back at ~ 900a they were already here and didn't bother to confirm the change with me. I delayed one telecon but had to ask them to be quiet for an hour and also had to deal with the dogs. At 1230p they rang the bell and said they were done. I was in the middle of working so I couldn't spend time arguing, but the job they did was very poor. They used a weed wacker to cut back the weeds and grass and raked a little bit. But it was no where near the cleanup I've had from other providers and there were rocks, garbage and dead stuff in several locations. There's no way the limited amount of work should have cost $400 but when I objected saying that 2 guys for 2.5 hours wasn't worth that, he got defensive and said that we had agreed to that amount. Having to get back to work, I just gave him a check but will never use him again.

The guys did an excellent job. They are excellent communicators, men of their word, and they work hard. I am very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had R&A do a much-needed Spring yard cleanup on our front and back yards. Our front yard is pretty large and was in rough shape due to the fact that we just moved in and it had not been properly tended to earlier in the season when the house was unoccupied. They showed up with a crew when we were not home. We were delighted to see that they had exceeded our expectations in every way -- the overgrown and scraggly lawn was cut and manicured, leaves and fallen branches were raked and removed, weeds were whacked, even poison ivy was removed. They edged the flower beds and overall left the lawn in a very presentable condition. We were so pleased we signed up for them to mow the lawn for the extremely reasonable rate of $30 every 2 weeks. YMMV based on yard size and complexity, but for us this has been a huge time saver. Highly recommended!

The two gentlemen showed right when expected as per a call last week, got busy and put my yard in order like it has not been even when I could do it myself! I went through a few other companies with regrettable results before finding R&A on Angie's List. I have spent more money for a lot less and I hope some of those people drive by my home to see what an honest job looks like. I finally feel as though I was not taken advantage of and recommend this company without hesitation.

The two men who came out to clean up the yard, were very polite and professional. Immediately upon pulling up to my driveway- they got right down to business. I will definitely be calling these guys again!

Was in need of someone to come out and do my yardwork in preparation of putting my house on the market. No one returned my calls or messages on Angie's List, but or R&A Landscape Services. I made an appointment to get an estimate and he showed up on time and quickly came up with a price. He said it would be 1-2 weeks but when I implored him that I needed it done within a few days, he worked to get me on the schedule. He came out on Friday and Saturday and did the job and I was pleased that I was able to get the work done quickly and professionally. Thank you again for the great work!
