Could not have gone better. While I was there the technician was able to first unfreeze the starter cord and then start the motor. It took perhaps ten minutes of his time and I was not charged a dime. I have used this vendor for both mower and snow blower repairs and service; this latest positive experience explains why.

I stopped in with a line trimmer to repair in August and they told it was not worth repairing for what it would cost and then they showed me some new trimmers. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to try myself before I bought a new trimmer, I ordered the new fuel line online for $8.00 and fixed it myself. Works great, but that is not my main beef, they warned me a cheap repair might work, might not. Before I left the store, I asked them if they could service my Arien's snow blower for the season. They are and authorized dealer. They said yes, but it would be a couple months before they could fit it in with all the snow blowers they had in for seasonal tune ups. I asked if it would be alright if my next door neighbor set his out as well so we could split the pick up and delivery charges and they said no problem. I said fine and they took my name for their waiting list. They called me October 19th and said they had worked through the backlog and were in my town. I said I was at work and I couldn't set the machine out until that evening. They told me to call when it was out so they could set up pick up. I called back that night and said it was set out, they told me they could not be out for a week, until the following Monday. I explained it was a lot of work to drag it out and asked them if they were sure they could pick it up Monday, they said yes. Sunday evening I put out my snow blower and my neighbor put out his. Monday afternoon no one came and I called again. This was my third call with them. The gentleman apologized, said he meant to call back and forgot. He said they could be out before the end of the week. I said I don't want to leave the snow blowers out on the street for a week, can you be more specific. He said they would call the day before they were coming out so I could put them out. Thursday of that week I had heard nothing back, since they were going to call the day before they came out, it was the end of the week. This was conversation #4. The woman I spoke with said she could find no record of my conversations. She spoke with another gentleman and he said that, per conversation #2, they never came out because I never called back. I explained I had two other conversations with their shop since then and they had promised to be out this week, after already missing one scheduled pick up. She told me that she was standing with two other employees and none of them had talked to me but that they might be able to come out the following week I had enough and told them not to bother. This company's service is absolutely terrible, they do not keep their promises, they do not keep record of the promises they make and they as much as called me a liar. I will take my business three towns over. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for service or any purchases that may require service.

I've used them for this service two years in a row now, and probably won't go back to the provider who I used to use. They are easy to work with, prompt, very reasonably-priced, and always do a great job. They are never too busy to take care of this job, which can be considered too small and perhaps not worth the trouble for some other shops. But, it makes a big difference to me, and enables me to take care of my lawn with a well-maintained lawnmower.

I WOULD RATE MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY AS POSITIVE. THERE WERE A FEW PROBLEMS AFTER I PICKED UP THE MACHINE BUT THEY TOOK CARE OF THEM PROMPTLY.
