Fantastic experience from start to finish. Louis was very responsive, calling within hours of my submission of a quote request through Angie's List. He was able to schedule the move within days of our first conversation. He communicated well by phone and text and called to confirm the delivery address right before the move. He and his co-worker were efficient and professional, and Louis taught me to use a humidity control system on the piano that the previous owner had installed. He was also very reasonably priced. I hope to use his services for piano tuning and maintenance in the future.

He did an excellent job. I will be definitely be hiring him again.

Louis and his helper were superb. They called ahead to let us know they were getting close, and would be here right on time. They came with all the necessary equipment to quickly, safely, and carefully remove the piano so that there was no damage to it or to our home. Their truck is designed specifically for moving pianos, with a lift gate and special tie-down arrangements in the back - no amateur stuff here! They were done in 20 minutes; no muss, no fuss. We highly recommend them, no reservations at all!

Very well. It was a big job but it took him less than 3 hours. He was upfront when we met about the work that needed to be done, gave me an estimate and we scheduled a time for him to come back.

I have a very old piano which had not been tuned in years. Louis was excellent and quick. My piano is in top notch form.

I would most certainly use Louis Gentile Piano Services again. The appointment was easy to schedule. I had to reschedule my original appointment, and it was easy to do. The ultimate appointment went off right on time, and I was happy with the quality of the job. After the tuning, Louis walked through what he did, how he found the condition of the piano, and suggested a time frame for the next tunning. I thought that the quality of the work solid and the price very fair.

He provided some advice on repositioning the piano to protect it from the effect of the heating system. He was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with his work and highly recommend him. And I will be using his services again this year to tune the piano.

The movers who came were punctual, courteous, friendly, & very knowledgeable about pianos; how best to transport, bring in to the house, & set our new piano in the right spot. If we ever move with a piano again, I would definitely use them! Can't compare cost as the move was included in the purchase.

Though we decided to ultimately not move forward with a piano purchase, we were very impressed at this provider's efficient response. We'll be sure to call him in the future for piano moving and tuning.

Very professional and prompt. Not the cheapest I found but he sounded very professional on the phone and got back to me in a timely fashion, I could tell on the phone that he knew what he was doing and was very experienced with pianos. Came on time, kept me updated as to when he would arrive ( from another job). Did an excellent job, friendly and competent. Set up piano on other end. The piano was being moved approximately 50 miles away. Small upright piano.

He arrived on time and did not leave until the piano sounded perfect. We have used him several times since 2004 but I don't have the exact dates. I will definitely hire him again when our piano needs to be tuned!

I found Louis through Angie's List. When I called on short notice to attempt to schedule an appointment he was very willing to accommodate me in his already busy schedule. He arrived on time and went to work immediately. He was genuinely friendly and personable and described the work he was doing. He also offered a brief description of his experiences with other pianos made by the same manufacturer which was enlightening. He was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. When he encountered a loose pin that complicated tuning, he initiated a repair on the spot and thoroughly explained and demonstrated the problem and the fix. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience and will continue to use his services for future tunings and/ or god-forbid repairs.

When we purchased our home it came with a baby grand player piano from the 1920s. Louis fixed a few problems with the player and created a cover to go over the bottom to keep kids from losing a finger on the mechanism that turns the reels. He arrived on time and also tuned this and another piano that we own. He is coming back next week to tune again. Highly recommend his services for tuning and any piano repairs you may need.
