The work was excellent. The contractor commented that the installer moved the stove on his own, did not need any help, and did a phenomenal job on the floor commenting on their high level of expertise . Amtico tiles were installed with narrow strips between tiles.

This review is of Neil at Harry's as much as Harry's themselves. Neil was very meticulous in his approach. Gave me a very accurate quote for the job, followed up on time when he said he would, handled his crew expertly and finished the job exactly on time. I would not hesitate to work with Neil and Harry's again.

Philip Verre who is in Sales at Harry's was tremendously helpful. He was consistently patient and knowledgable as we explored different options. We felt 100% comfortable with Philip who came to measure for carpeting and arranged for samples to be delivered to our home. In the end, we went with a completely different kind of carpet; and with Philip's expertise, we found exactly the style, color and price we had hoped to find. Two installers came to install the carpet. They were perfectionists! The room and stairway are pretty much perfect for us!!!

I am writing this review a few years late (sorry) but I've been meaning to do it for a long time. Harry's gets my highest recommendation. Here's why: they had to lay the carpet down in two sections that meet up in the middle of the room - because it's such a big room. The place where the two carpets met showed a slight seam. I pointed this out. It was very minor and would probably not be noticed by the casual observer. Anyway, they went back to the manufacturer and agreed to redo the job, with no hassle and no charge. The service was exceptional-- way better than what I might have expected. Thank you Harrys!

I went to the store in Quincy early one morning to look at kitchen flooring. There were three salespeople in the office. I was the only customer. One of the men said in an offhand way that he would be along. He directed me to the tile section which was not easily reached plus the lights had not been turned on yet! When he did join me, he gave a long spiel about tile, which did not address my specific questions or needs. When I asked him about prices, his quotes were outrageous. It was overall an unpleasant and unfruitful visit. One would almost think he was purposefully rude and dismissive. He did e-mail me the price for a particular tile with installation, which confirmed the outrageous prices. I subsequently had the work done, with a good quality tile, at less than half the price.

I haven't the final cost of service yet as it was yesterday that the carpet was installed, and the statement is being sent to me, but Brian has been responsive and helpful. I bought carpet for a short flight of stairs leading to a landing well-trafficked by clients in my home office. I also changed the carpet in my bedroom. I would recommend this company. It was the third company I visited and the one whose carpet fit my needs and taste. Of their 2 workmen who laid the carpet, one was quite ornery and brusk. The other was more pleasant and worked along side the first, quietly... They did a good job, however. But I would have preferred a more friendly attitude. I also visited A.J. Rose Carpets and Mal Elfman's of Waltham. I almost bought at Rose's as I really liked one of the samples and experienced the staff as very helpful. I would use this company again. Mal Elfman's was the least responsive, and I wouldn't seek them out.

For front hallway, I wasn't sure what material to use. They suggested a type of vinyl plank that looks like wood. It's better in areas that may get damp. It looks nice, looks like wood. I also had put in my office space also. It's very durable. The salesman talked to me about options. He was very good in explaining different flooring options. Scheduling was very easy. They were on time and worked the entire time they were there and cleaned up well afterwards. Would definitely use again!

Harry's installed carpet in our basement as we were renovating into a kids room. Kathleen was great on the front end, and they accommodated 2 schedule changes from us. The guys were at the house until almost 8pm to get the job finished, and the quality was excellent. No scratches or dings on the baseboards, and they left extra carpet in case of any spills/stains, etc, and they will come to repair if need be. Overall great experience.

We decided we didn't want to put new carpet down. We contacted Angie's List for a refund.

They were prompt. They took away the old carpet. They installed quickly. They were safe to use even with my toddler running around. The price was competitive and not the most expensive.

I have used him for 18 years. He does a great job. I use him both personally and professionally, I am an interior designer and I use him on all of my projects. He does fabulous work and is the best in the business.

The service was great. I emailed for an estimate, they called me within a few minutes and came over for the estimate the same day. They completed the work within the week.
