The price of service is very fair and reasonable. I would definitely use them again, I have been very happy.

Life happens and having to work in 2 cities that's 4 hr drive apart; totally forgot about the estimate. I called them back in 2010, saying that they had given me an estimate a long time ago and that I had lost it wondering if they can re-do a new one. They said they would get back to me and so far, nothing. Obviously, have hired someone else since.

I got a call from them a day after submitting an inquiry on Angie's List. We set up an appoint for an estimate. He arrived early! He was very nice and very knowledgeable. He wrote out the order and the estimate, and the secretary called the next day to set up an appointment. Three men and three trucks arrived precisely on time. The young man in charge went over the list of what to do with me. He came back at one point and said he thought it would be best to take off a second low branch from the tree in the back. I agreed. At the end, they did a great job of cleaning up, going so far as to wash off my neighbor's driveway because the tree they took down was on that side. There was no charge for the extra limb they removed, so I handed them a check and they were gone in less than two hours. This company is supurb! I wish everyone I hired to work on my house was this professional.

After my initial contact via email, the office called to make an appointment for an estimate. Mark came to my house on-time and gave me a brief consultation and an estimate. I didn't have to be at home when they came to remove trees. Both Mark and office manager who I dealt was very friendly, professional, and efficinent. I will strongly recommend them to anyone!

They did such a terrible job taking out the tree that they crushed my lawn and damaged my courtyard, and trying to get them to actually respond was a nightmare. Ultimately, I ended up sending them an estimate, and they sent me a check. I don't think it was a reimbursement; it was an agreed-upon cost for repairs. The damage initially happened about six to eight months prior to the conclusion of the problem. It was very difficult to get them to conclude the issue. When they were working on the tree and taking it out from the neighbor's yard, one of the workers came very close to falling underneath the tree. It was quite scary. Limbs came down everywhere, some of which damaged my yard. I went out and actually talked to the guys while they were there. The guys on the tree and the crew on the ground said that they would get in touch with me. It was only because I happened to go walking around the neighborhood to find the truck that I found out who was actually doing the work. I called them up even while they were still there. I felt that they were not very thorough and getting the work completed properly really wasn't their first concern. The followup was a nightmare; I had a problem trying to get even an acknowledgment or discussion of what had happened and what would be the appropriate way to go forward. I would not consider contacting them in the future.

I go with Mark Bogan. He is excellent. He is a really nice guy. It's amazing that he fit me into a very busy schedule to accommodate some new trees that I was having put in. I would call him back anytime. It went excellent. They did a great job. They have very reasonable prices. Mark Bogan is an arborist so he can give information on whether a tree can be saved or whether a particular tree needs to be taken down. He is pretty knowledgeable. He is very easy to work with. He is a really nice guy. He sends guys out who mostly climb the tree to take the limbs down so they don't necessarily have to bring in heavy equipment and ruin your yard. That is not always true with all tree services. I had Mark originally come in a little over a year ago when I first bought my house to check a bunch of trees out. It was amazing to watch them work and they did a beautiful job.

Very happy with this company, I have huge aborvites that were cut and trimmed on one of the hottest days of the summer. The work was done by 3 professional and conscientious men that paid close attention to every tree so that they looked uniform and neat. They cleaned up and hauled away everything. I highly recommend Bogan Tree Service.

On both occasions, the tree removal teams and stump removal teams performed excellent work! Mark came out for both estimates in person and was punctual and professional. He gave us a great price. I love that he is an arborist. He offered to return whenever we plan to work on the forested half of our property and help us weed out dying trees and keep healthy shade trees. For both tree removals (December 2010 and June 2011), Mark's staff showed up EARLY and got right to work. They ensured our cars and our tenants' cars (we own a two-family) were out of range of any damage. They completed their work quickly and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. The teams that remove trees are not the same as the stump grinding teams so the stump grinding came later. In both cases, they worked quickly and then cleaned up the area around the stumps after they were done. In the front yard, the man who came to remove the stumps there took the time to smooth out the lawn and rake everything out so it looked presentable even though we told him another lanscaping company was coming in a few days to completely tear up the lawn. If you call the office and don't reach Mark's assistant the first time, leave her a message and she will get back to you. They've never taken more than 24 hours to return any of our calls. I recommend Bogan Trees HIGHLY and have been EXTREMELY happy with their service, prices and quality of work! They were the least expensive estimate. They did the job and did it well. They cleaned up after themselves, including raking our entire yard of all the twigs and branches that had fallen. They also swept the neighbor's driveway when one of the Bobcats got some dirt on their driveway. They were very professional. I will be calling them again if I need anything else

It was called by another name before, but they went out of business and it's now the same company doing business under Bogan Tree Service. He is a certified arborist. I paid $1400 since it was an enormous tree. They were very organized. They took down the tree easily too. I was very impressed with the process. They did good work. I had no complaints. He wasn't cheap, but he was moderately expensive. They actually came early. I ended up getting a phone call asking if they could do it at that time and I wasn't expecting that. The tree was old and the limbs were falling off of it. I was worried about it landing on my neighbor's house.

Came on two trips (first to cut down the tree, second to grind the stump). After giving the initial estimate of the job it was somewhat difficult to get a hold of someone to return my call so I could schedule for them to come and cut down the tree. Also, they couldn't give me an exact date they were going to come and cut down the tree so I had to move my car out of the driveway each morning to get it out of the way in case they came then move it back when I got home from work. This went on for about a week. I would have preferred a set appointment but they did such an excellent job, the men who came were very nice and they did not leave a mess at all I still rate them A and would hire again in the future.

They were terrific. They did everything without a single problem. They came and did exactly what they said they were going to do. When they were done, they were done and I never had a problem after that. They were very nice to deal with.

He was thorough and professional. He really went above and beyond to take care of some major tree issues that I was having. I would highly recommand him.

They were very prompt and very professional. They came out to give an estimate right away. The owner was Mark and there were two people that came out. They showed up on the 14th at 8 am, which is what they said they would do. They did a beautiful job. I would hire them again in a minute; there was nothing that I didn't like. They were just terrific. There are some people in life that are easy to deal with, give me a good deal, do it on time, do what they say they will and this is one of them. They are good at what they do and they know what they are doing. They work quickly, accurately and professionally.

They came to remove a tree that had fallen onto my yard and garage in a storm. I told the manager when he came to look at the tree that they could not open the fence door because it was padlocked. When I arrived home to find them working on the tree, they had not only removed the padlock but taken the entire gate off. They were smoking dropping cigarette butts everywhere and when they left I had deep scratches on my fence and the door. There was still debris everywhere even on my poor neighbors car. I called the manager and sent him photos. He came out the next day and cleaned a little more off the roof and the yard. When I asked him about the fence he said" what do you want me to do? just sand it" He never called me back and just kept sending me text messages. The snow finally melted and I have seen the real damage that they did now. NEVER AGAIN>

Mark came and gave us an estimate to cut trees. We were initially torn between cutting the trees now or prunning them because thought all we could not afford to cut the trees we wanted to.(we have alot of trees on our property) Mark gave us a really good deal. for an extra $300-500 he cut all the trees we needed cut. We were intially give quotes that cost between $1500-2100 to cut 3 trees but Mark took care of us. On the day of the job the guys came in early took care of what they needed to then came back to grind the stumps at a later date. they were very professional and we are very happy with the job they performed.

Mark Bogan arrived promptly for my estimate (actually a little early), and took a look at what needed to be done. He quickly was able to arrive at what I think was an extremely fair price for all the necessary work, and even offered to chip up all the loose branches in the yard that the last few windstorms had brought down. He was very pleasant and courteous, and his office called very promptly to set up a date for the work. On the day the work was to be done, I had worked a night shift the night before. The men who came to perform the work went about the job quickly, and when I woke up that afternoon to check out the results, I was extremely pleased to see that everything was done perfectly, and that clean up was fantastic. I *will* be using them again, and recommending them to my friends and family!

Crew was respectful, professional. They showed up on time and left my yard in better condition than it was before they came. They were careful of my plants and shrubs.

I had a problem with the bark on a tree in my yard. The bark was peeling off. It was a brown rusty color under the bark. Mark came out and explained what I needed to do. He explained I should use ant spray because they were causing the problem. He also advised using weed killer for some bushes that kept growing back after trimming them. He gave me free advice and the number of an arborist who would spray for caterpillars.

They were very professional and careful with how the trees were removed so as not to fall on power lines or to block the street. They were pretty amazing to watch - very skilled workmen and pleasant too. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Went very well. I needed them to come on a very short timeline (in time for an outdoor party in which I wanted the house to look nice), and they accommodated my very tight schedule (even though they were quite booked). Really appreciate that.

Professional, efficient, flexible process. The owner was very responsive, and only offered suggestions where / when appropriate (no up-selling). The crew arrived, and completed all work as documented in the original estimate. Bogan is a quality, professional operation, at little extra price over the typical part-time "seasonal" landscaping companies that might advertise on Craigslist. Working with these folks will put your mind at ease the job will be done properly by people who will stand by their work if something doesn't go according to plan.

Everything went very well. The owner made an appointment to come out right away after I called, and came out within a few days. He gave me a good and reasonable estimate. He told me that his crew was working a short distance away and offered to have them complete the work that afternoon. One of the trees was growing in a fence I am having removed, so they cut what they could and will come back to grind that stump at that time. I was very happy with them and would absolutely use them again.

Of the 3 firms we contacted 2 responded, and Bogan was quickest to visit give the estimate. Crew arrived on time and did their best to avoid damage to our lawn. There was some damage to the lawn even though they covered it in Plywood. I think it was pretty much unavoidable as they had to drop large peices of the tree on the plywood. They did an excellent job of cleaning up as well.
