From the initial call for an estimate to the completion of the tree removal I have been extremely impressed with Bogan Tree Service! The price was competitive. It was clear from the start that Mark Bogan was interested in providing exceptional service and satisfaction. The 5 crew arrived early (which I appreciated) and stayed until the job was complete despite having several obstacles to overcome getting the trees. These guys are hard workers, pleasant and respectful. They kept the street and property cleaned up during the project and at completion. After setting a date for service , I heard from a neighbor and a friend they had used Bogan. Their remarks about the company were positive and encouraging. I have hired many contractors over the years. This company is one of the best in every way! I highly recommend them.

Initially they were supposed to cut two trees and then I decided to add another tree to be cut. I contacted his office and then Mark contacted the crew to cut the third tree. They are very professional and they did clean all debris after the job. I strongly recommend this company.

I called Bogan Tree Service on 5 June 2014 to schedule an estimate for 11 June 2014. When I arrived at home, on the 11th, Mark was waiting and had already taken a walk around the property. He suggested the removal of the two trees and the trimming of several others that I had identified as needing removal/trimming. I had concerns about the removal since it would impact three Rose of Sharon saplings that had finally taken root. He understood my concerns. He confirmed that he would remove them during the project and plant them after the work was completed. I spoke with his office the following day to confirm my acceptance of his quote and the office scheduled it to occur by 14 JULY. I was asked if I was flexible with the actual scheduling should they have an opening sooner. I was flexible. I faxed back the signed quote on the 13 June and wrapped blue painter's tape around the trunk of the two trees being removed to be certain that there would be no confusion about which two trees needed to be removed. Mid-day on Monday, 16 June, Bogan called to see if they could complete the job that afternoon. I returned home to see a job well done. Thank you Mark and team Bogan!! FYI, five years ago, on a neighbor's recommendation, I hired Maltby of Stoughton to trim back the same trees that Bogan was going to remove and trim. At that time it cost upwards of $1,200.00. I remembered that situation and decided to shop Angie's List before calling Maltby. Glad I did!!

As planned. Arrived on time, prepared to work and job completed in about 2.5 hours. They are pros in every sense. Tree had to be removed from neighbor's property, performed with no issues. Went so well that my neighbor used them the same day. This is the 2nd time I used Bogan tree. Accurate estimate, flexible scheduling and a great crew!

Very well, the contractors were on time and started promptly. It took only half day to take the whole tree down , they clearly knew how to handle the job despite the fact that there was no easy access to the tree. They left my place all clean after the job. Mark stopped by later on to make sure all had gone well.

Gentleman provided estimate on the spot. Price was good. Arrival time was between 11a-1p, arrived at 145p ate lunch then began service at 230p. Completed work quickly and did a fantastic clean up.

The first crew removed the tree, they were careful to limit lawn damage. The second crew for stump grinding the following day was not as careful, leaving some lawn damage and leaving some trash and debris around the yard. The police detail which was used for traffic resulted in a higher than expected bill, it could have been less if they planned the timing of different jobs better.

A four person crew in two vehicles showed at 11am. The first had the lift arm and the second truck the huge chipper. They began removing a very complex s divided trunk lodged at the top of another tree. I live in an area that you might call new growth forest. The cuts and tie offs for the snapped tree limbs were complex and dangerous for anyone without the training, equipment and skill of this team. Surrounded by very kind neighbors who offered all sorts of help, I declined because I knew this would be too dangerous for an ordinary homeowner, do-it-yourselfer. The pros evaluated first and then methodically began their work. They were careful, efficient and removed the blockages, cleaned up and even had the driveway cleaned with a blower. The only evidence after their work was the broken fencing where the tree had fallen on the fence. My driveway is on a moderate down grade and looks like the typical post and plank fencing you see in many state parks as it separates the house area from a very attractive forest and creek adjacent. By 3pm I was ready to go, pick up Mom and get her to the Doctor. In addition, while I was in this fix, Mark or anyone could have named their price and I would have paid. But to his credit, Mark charged a fair price. Also, in terms of full disclosure, I have had Bogan Tree do work at my home two years ago, for which I did not write a review because I was not then a member of Angie's List. As I mentioned, I live in a very wooded area where I am literally surrounded by beautiful trees. Bogan thinned the tree stand adjacent to the property a couple years ago and before I replaced the roof, in 2012, saving me what would have been inevitable grief during the 2013 winter hurricane noted above. I could not be more pleased with the quality of this service and I heartily endorse consideration by other Angie's list members in the Bogan Tree service area.

I really like the guy who came. He gave me an estimate that was pretty much in line with a couple of others I had, maybe a tiny bit higher but not much. I did not go with them because they were scheduling out about eight weeks and I needed work done sooner. They came when they were supposed to. He was polite. He seem to know what he was talking about. The bad thing was he couldn't do the work when I wanted it done.

The Estimate Process - I spoke with the receptionist and let her know which tree we were interested in having removed. SInce it's in our front yard and freestanding, they were able to stop by the house while we were at work and drop off an estimate the very next day. The Job - Very impressed with the friendly receptionist. When I called to schedule the job, she was polite and let me know that even though their schedule was being booked 2 months in advance, since this was a smaller job (and as long as I was comfortable with them doing it without myself or my husband being there, which we were) that they would try to stop by in the next week or two when they were in the area. One week later we came home after work and it was done! They did a great job of removing the tree (we chose not to have the stump ground, although that was an option - didn't need to spend an extra $100) as well as removing the surrounding smaller saplings/weeds surrounding the tree. Cleaned up after themselves and will definitely be calling them again the next time we need a tree removed.

Top notch quality and service!! This is a professional company who does what they say they will do, at the time they promise and at the cost they quote. The team that arrived to take down our tree was just the best!!! They even cleaned up after themselves. They chipped the tree and branches right one site. If you need to have a tree taken down or trimmed, this is the company to call. Wonder people to work with and they actually listen to what we wanted done and did it - all within the price they quoted!!!

A terrific customer experience. Mark came to our home to provide us with additional insight regarding the remainder of the tree being a future hazard to our property, and guidance on how to handle it. He was able to schedule the work the same day! His work crew was exceptional-the job was completed in less than an hour with the cleanup leaving our property better than it was prior to the storm.
