He arrived on time (even a little early), was extremely courteous and professional. Time quoted to complete the job was met. He even took a little extra time to perform a small repair that was not in scope. Would highly recommend his company to anyone who needs this kind of repair.

I had a crack in the foundation under my basement window that had been repaired by a previous homeowner. I knew it was there and it didn't really leak except in a few occasions of lots of rainfall or melting snow combined with heavy rain. Recently it's started to leak more often so I decided it was time to fix it. Called Luc and was able to setup an estimate for a couple days out. He came by evaluated the crack and other areas of concern with my basement and provided honest answers without trying to upsell me products or services I may not need. The price quoted included a Angie's List discount which brought the price down to less than I had paid for a similar service by a different company 6 years ago. Truly a great price considering that! The appointment to do the work was setup for about a week later and Justin came to do the work. He was about a half hour early (but this wasn't a problem as I work from home so I was available) and I showed him the crack as well as the access in and out of the basement via the hatch and he went to work. He was here for probably close to two hours and when he was finished showed me the patch and said that there was a slight leak before he went to work (it had rain about .75 inches the night before) but as soon as he was able to remove the old patch and inject the urethane it stopped. He then showed me outside where the urethan flowed through even above the soil line under a small concrete patch so this reassured me that the patch flowed through completely and would be water tight. We haven't had very heavy rain since but have had some decent rainfall and so far that area is bone dry. Combined with the transferrable lifetime warranty (since we hope to sell in the near future) I'm confident that spot in my basement will not have any water issues. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Removed previous patch to basement foundation crack, filled with urethane, applied rubber membrane.

Had water problems in the basement. Called Luc and he arrived at the home an hour later the same day. We soon discovered the type of cement block I had couldn't be solved by him. He gave me suggestions, he knew exactly what he talking about, very educated on the various reasons a basement may encounter water. He didn't try and sell me his services but told me I needed another type of fix. He drove 1/1/2 hours to reach my home that same day, wouldn't take money for gas or his time. I was upset to learn I couldn't use lucs services and had to look elsewhere. He is a honest, knowledgeable, show up man, few left in this world these days. I would not recommend anyone else. Kudos Luc ,for speedy, honest service. Lisa, norwalk,CT.

Owner was very punctual, polite and knowledgeable. Scheduled the repair in a timely manner. The technician arrived on time as scheduled. The crawl space had been wet for years and is now dry as a bone. The owner took the time to evaluate another condition I had in a new addition we just put on, and was honest and upfront in telling me that his product would not be a good fix for my particular problem. Recommended a company and even provided me with a unit free of charge that may help me solve a very frustrating problem in my brand new addition.

In the end he told me that my basement was in great shape and to go ahead and finish it off without a worry. He didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary and for that I would recommend Attack a Crack to anybody interested in having a professional inspection of their basement without the fear of being sold unneeded services.

I called and we were scheduled for someone to come and give us a quote for the repair the following day. There was no BS involved, very up front and honest explaining the entire process to us. I also explained that we had a quote from someone else as well. He explained how his process compared to the "competitor" and it was a no brainer for us to go with Attack-A-Crack. We were scheduled for an apt the next day and the technician had the job completed in under and hour. I do wish that they had someone who could also replace the piece of drywall we cut out but I guess you can't have everything.
Description of Work: We were presented with a realistic quote, taking the time to explain the entire process to us. We were given an estimate from another company that was going to charge us double what Attack-A-Crack charged us. Thank you for your honesty and fixing the foundation crack the following day

Every aspect of the experience was excellent. Our inquiry call was personally answered by the business' principal, Luc. As he was working in our vicinity, he offered to come over to inspect our problem. Following his survey, he explained the nature of the problem and the proposed fix. Several hours later, we received via email a detailed and itemized estimate of the proposed work. We were able to arrange a date for the actual work 4 days following the estimate........on Christmas eve! He and his assistant arrived 30 minutes early, maintained a "protected path" through our home from the back door to the work site in the basement completed the job in the estimated time, and cleaned up completely. We give Luc and Attack-A-Crack (Connecticut Sealers LLC) our highest recommendation.

The owner arrived on time and finished the work in a few hours. He was very thorough and confirmed what two other experts had advised me to do a few years before. The newest technology was used to clean out, inject and seal the cracks. Happily, everything was fixable and my construction began the next day. Thank you!

They were responsive, punctual and professional. |The deal included a repair up to a certain size, I needed a larger repair and was quoted the additional fee. It seemed reasonable. |This repair was for a garage wall crack which leaks only after very heavy rains. It hasn't rained sufficiently since so I don't know if it's actually fixed but it does look like it will work. They guarantee their work for the life of the house. |I would use them again and would recommend them as well.

This was a Angie's list big deal for $199 for 4 ft repair. Our crack was longer so we needed to pay for the additional 1 ft, which we understood when we called. We also have had an intermittent leak from the well cut for years which the well company was not able to repair. Luc also quoted us a price on that area as well and was confident it could be fixed. He provides a lifetime guarantee, for the house for both items. Justin repaired the 5' crack the day after Luc (owner) looked at it. It was done efficiently and looks very good- time will tell if it truly is waterproof. We have had no rain as yet. The well cut required different work. When the existing patch was removed, we had a substantial amount of water coming into the basement- which Justin could not stop. We needed to call a plumber to repair the line from the well to the pump- we were lucky our plumber responded immediately, Justin called his boss and Luc came (he was about 45 min away) to supervise and assist in the repair. Both men were very conscientious and responsive. Needless to say the water issue was a concern. Before the patch was removed the spot was damp but not leaking. It only leaked during heavy rains. RESOLUTION: Well line repaired by plumber/well company ( the line was 3' underground), Luc waited for plumbers to finish and made foundation repair. Opening repaired by Attack A crack. So far so good. I have confidence in Luc if any problem recurs. We won't know till next major storm.

It lasted forever because we got into several different complications. It turned out okay. They did a good job. They came out to perform the service probably within a week or so after I purchased the big deal. They were very very prompt in doing things and in reacting. They were very responsive. What happened was that they found two cracks and they fixed them. One of them did not penetrate all the way and so I had a little leak and they came back. When I called them and told them, they were there within an hour. The only problem was that they missed one. They did not find it on their original survey because it was not very obvious and they did not catch it. There was an unusual circumstance that my hose broke in the front when I was away and so that crack caused my basement to be flooded. And so, they fixed the crack at no charge and helped me pay for the carpet. So, I would recommend them. If you have any problems, they are Johnny on the spot. Our relationship just lasted so long because we kept having these little problems. I liked the interest and cooperation that they showed. I thought that the original cost that they gave me was a little pricey. When you get charged $1,800 for something, you do not expect it to be fixed in six hours and so I would certainly question the original price. I was a little concerned with that but after they helped me, so on and so forth, it was hard to evaluate that. They were also very professional.

Luc was immediately in contact via Angie's list messaging. i had never used this before, but it worked well. Luc was prompt and professional. Said they could repair it the same day! He explained the process, showed some photos, and told me what times were available I believe it was Justin, arrived promptly, got to work and completed it within the 3.5 hours Luc said it would take. I did not rate the quality as only time will tell if it holds. However, with a transferrable lifetime warranty, my guess is the fix is better than new. I didn't read the fine print that the big deal was only for 4 feet of crack and since most foundation's are 8-10 feet that is where they make their money as most every job will add $450 more to the $199 spent on the big deal - caveat emptor. I am very happy with their responsiveness and getting the job done. I will add to the review in a few years after a couple NorEasters and summer downpours happen where the yard is full of water. Thanks Attack a Crack!

Response from Attack A Crack
Thank you for the good review [member name removed]. I would like to clarify something that i find harmful to my business reputation. You are right about any extra crack over 4 feet will be charged at the normal rate. The savings for purchasing the Big Deal from Angies List is $247.00 no matter the length of foundation crack. The comment that was made "caveat emptor" makes it seem like we are trying to get away with something. Mike, is my Angies List Big Deal representative and we went over the deal for about 1 hour and 1/2 to make sure that everything was perfect, to make sure that the deal had all the information needed to inform the buyer of exactly what was being offered. The "fine" print was just information in my opinion. I don't consider it "fine" print. I would just like this comment "caveat emptor" to be seen as you are getting one of the best deals on Angies List, not that your are being deceived. Thank you for your feed back and i will take this into consideration when running the next Big Deal. I will have a sentence that reads " any additional crack repair will be charged at the normal rate" . Attack A Crack has repaired over 3 & 1/2 miles of foundation Crack. As Always, I look forward to providing you with a foundation repair that will last the life of your home! Luc Richard/ owner 860-573-8760
