Luc was very punctual in returning my message and setting an appointment. He reviewed the foundation inside and out. No structural issues - just cosmetic. Very honest. Took time to explain process for refacing and showed pictures. I will contact Luc again in the spring when the weather/temperature is better. I was very pleased with the experience.

Some of the previous plug was removed, water began leaking through the opened hole - hydraulic cement was used to plug the leaking opening and sealant was injected the seal visible cracks. The man arrived at the appointed time, had all the necessary tools and equipment, quickly did his work and left.
Description of Work: Sealed a foundation leak at a location previously used for boiler exhaust vent. The cement plug installed previously was not water proof and cracks had formed around its perimeter.

Everything went fine with Attack-A-Crack. I was very impressed with them.
Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's Big Deal to get an inspection of my basement floor and walls and the like. There are a couple of spots that need to have some dampness taken care of and he gave me a quote to do that. I haven't yet followed through on that yet. The inspection only cost the amount of the inspection. There were no extra charges for that.

Since the house is very young, we have a ten year warranty. He came to the house and did an assessment, telling us what he would he would do to fix our two cracks. We had been waiting for our warrantee company to call us, to use their subcontractor. Because it is a new house, there is a space between the wall and the floor, and I explained that I was concerned the wall and the floor gap would allow radon to come in. He is coming back to put the special sealant in all around the crack in the floor.

Luc arrived on time for estimate appointment. He explained the process and gave me a quote. I found a coupon on Angie's List that made the cost even better. The lifetime gaurantee made the decision easy. His crewman showed up on time, did the job and cleaned up after he was done. Then the sky opened up and it rained for the next three days...not one drop through the repaired wall.

They came out to look at the job. They told me that the water wasn’t coming in from the basement slab or foundation after all. They told me that I could hire them to fix the crack, but it wasn’t the actual source of my problem. They were also prompt. They returned my message the same day and came to visit the site the next day.

We called Attack-A-Crack and told them the problem with wetness in our basement. Luc came over about a week later and gave us an estimate. He was very prompt, professional and courteous. He determined the problem very quickly and showed my husband the crack in our foundation that was causing the problem. He came back with another worker a week later and the work was done in approximately 2 hours. We were very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend this company.
Description of Work: We had been experiencing wet carpet on and off in our basement for the past year. Our carpet was stained over the winter from the wetness in one area near the chimney. Attack-A-Crack discovered a crack in our foundation and filled it in with some kind of expanding substance that filled the whole crack. Then they put a rubber-like patch on the outside of the crack. The repair is guaranteed for life and is transferable to new owners.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a 4 foot crack repair. Within 24 hours the owner emailed me to schedule an inspection where he provided a quote to repair the 5.5 foot crack. The repair was completed the following week on schedule and at the cost he quoted. The repair looks great and I'm sure it will stop the leak and even if it doesn't there is a lifetime guarantee.

Our basement had several vertical cracks that looked horrible and were leaking water. Luc came out and gave me an estimate, and then a couple weeks later began the work. They open up the cracks and installed copper pipes, and then injected some polymer goo all the way through the foundation. Then they smoothed it over and put a rubber coating over it. I guess time will tell, but it looks terrific and the leaking has STOPPED. We are putting our house on the market and needed to resolve the water and foundation crack issue.
Description of Work: Luc repaired several basement cracks that were leaking water. Once completed they looked terrific and were not leaking!!! I was a bit skeptical about the process compared to having a mason do a more extensive repair, but it worked exactly as he had described.

I was at work, but my father let them in. They came in and did their work and in less than 3 hours, the crack issue was sealed and fixed. My mom likes the work they did on that crack. She is going to schedule another appointment to have them come over again and fix another issue in the basement we have. The owner is very professional and a pleasant guy to work with, and are also are the workers. Great job..
Description of Work: We had a crack near where the sewer pipe left the foundation in the basement, where water was coming in from the outside of the foundation. This company came over and filled the hole and used a 100 percent rubber based coating to further stop the water from coming in.

Fast response to my email through Angie's list. Luc called and we spoke in depth about my repairs and decided his services weren't the correct approach to solve my problem. He was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He did refer me to a contractor who could solve my foundation issue. If my foundation cracking wasn't so severe I would have used Luc.

This is the second time Luc has come out to our home. In August 2012 he sealed a number of cracks in our foundation - one that was leaking water - as we prepared to refinish our basement. During this service, he noted one crack that was not leaking water and was located in what was to become our unfinished furnace room. Because the crack was not causing a problem, we chose to wait to fix it until after the basement renovation was complete. Luc and his employee Justin fixed this crack in February 2013. As per our first service, Attack-A-Crack was professional and pleasant to deal with. The work took a few hours to finish, but now we can rest knowing the foundation is solid.

We had a couple of smaller water leaking cracks in our basement. I stumbled upon Angie's List offering $49 for inspection and recommendations from Attack-A-Crack. I contacted Luc and arranged for a meeting. The service was provided on a very professional level. I was fully informed about all the details of the upcoming repair and agreed to proceed. The next day Luc's associate showed up and fixed all that was agreed on in a couple of hours. Great job! Very professional, clean, and fast. We had a little bit of paint smell overnight and that was it. Very good service and they provide a lifetime warranty (even with transfer coverage in case the property is sold). Highly recommend and I would use their service again if needed.

I emailed the company through Angie's list, and about 30 seconds later Luc called! I scheduled an appointment for the following afternoon. Luc arrived on time, and explained the problem and gave me an estimate. I had already gotten two other estimates. His was lower and his suggestion for repair was more reasonable than the other two. He was able to fix the crack in the foundation right then and there. It has been a few weeks since and I have not had any water in my basement. I would definitely recommend this company!

They came out to the house and provided a quote to do the work... it was about $800. The price seemed high, but they had excellent references and guaranteed the work for life. I had them do the work... they were extremely professional and and very thorough in d*** the job. They drilled holes in the concrete and pour in a material that expanded greatly. Its been a year of record water in New England and I have not experienced even a drop of water.... I have no doubts by looking at this job that it will never leak. Attach-A-Crack folks were very professional and cleaned up the basement after they finished their work. I would definitely recommend them and I would not hesitate to hire them again... it was well worth the money to get the job done properly once and for all !
Description of Work: Attack-A-Crack came to the house to stop water leakage I have been experiencing for years in the basement. I put an addition on my house years ago... and after several years I started getting leaking / water in the basement where the old foundation met the newly poured foundation. The contractor had returned several times to to try and re-seal this joint using concrete, however it never worked for long, it would start leaking again after several months.

Luc Richard performed the work. He was prompt and respectful of our home. He answered all of my questions and cleaned up after the job was done. The work performed comes with a lifetime guarantee. I am confidant Luc will work with me if any of the cracks he repaired experience any leaks.
Description of Work: Our house was built in 1948. We had several cracks in our foundation, one of which leaked during heavy downpours. Attack-A-Crack fixed these cracks using special materials (flexible resins that are durable and will resist cracking or pulling apart due to foundation shifts and thermal cycles) that fill and seal foundation cracks.

Luc was referred to us because we are looking to have our basement remodeled but we had some water coming into our basement. My husband called and he was here within an hour to take a look. He did a very thorough job investigating the inside and outside of the house to see how the water was coming in. In the end he said that he didn't feel his services were needed and provided me with the names and numbers of 4 different companies who could help us install a pump and do excavating to direct the water away from the house. We had only gotten water in the basement on 2 occasions in 6 years, so it was only a minor issue. I'm very grateful for his time and the care he took with helping us and all for free. Thanks Attack-a-Crack!

Luke was prompt, clean and respectful of our home. He showed up when he said he would, was knowledgable, freely answering all my questions, worked neatly, and fixed a failed, shoddy repair with professional one having a lifetime guarantee. I am confident in the repair and the would highly recommend Luke and his service.
Description of Work: A below grade poured concrete wall had an old repair which had failed and was leaking water. The attack-a-crack process removed the repair, cleaned out the crack and used a high expanding product to fix it from the inside out without having to excavate the foundation. After the patch material was injected and set the interior wall was covered with a rubberized material to create a neat, uniform repair.
