He came out the house; spent time with us, but never got back to us with the plan. On the 22nd he said we were "next in line" to get our plan but at this time it had just gone on too long. He seemed very knowledgeable but his lack of response in a reasonable amount of time was his downfall. Based on his presentation I would have given him a B but the lack of response and professionalism ended up as an F.

My family has been in the construction industry for 50 years and I worked it for 10. I don't think I ever met a guy with more integrity, sincerity and a willingness to help than Bob. I called him re: a huge paver job. We chatted on the phone for about 5 minutes before he conceded that the scope of work would put him at a price disadvantage given the fuel cost (He is about 70 miles from me). He could have politely ended the call right there but he continued chatting with me giving me ideas and things to be on the lookout for....almost like a pro bono consultant. He even offered to come take a look at the project himself. Knowing he only had a microscopic shot at the job he came, I believe, more to help than anything else. WHO DOES THAT? This guy is awesome. His work speaks for itself, you only need to read a few reviews to know as much. And because of that, I was an inch away from giving him the project but the additional cost compared to a local (and good contractor) was just too much to overlook. I would tell anyone that you would be lucky to have Bob do your next project. The guy is great, honest as the day is long and willing to help in anyway he can...... As a matter of fact, I even consulted him a few times during my project and he texted me back almost immediately each time.... think about that. A real diamond in the rough

Bob was very professional. He gave us ideas for a new patio and walkway in our backyard. He provided a written quote and brochures for pavers. He arrived on time for our meeting. We hope to use his services in the future. It was a pleasure meeting and talking to him.

Bob is a great listener and a very creative landscape designer. Based on our interactions, we have decided to move forward with him.

Since this was a Big Deal and he had many appointments at this time, he was only able to see me in August. After thinking about it, I decided to cancel this Big Deal because I didn't want to do work in my garden in the Fall. I wanted to wait until the Spring. Bob was very understanding.

Bob and his team exceed our expectations and we are very happy with the end product. We interviewed a couple of other landscapers, but we decided to go with Naturescapes because Bob really seemed to get what we wanted to do, he had some creative?outside the box?solutions to our landscaping problems and his prices were reasonable. Bob was the one landscaper that identified the true problem/cause of our backyard erosion?excessive water coming from the gutters (which had been directly rain water directly into the backyard). Bob & team re-positioned our gutters to run beneath our back yard and thus remove the impact of the rain water on the back yard?very creative! Bob handled all of our concerns/questions in a very professional manner and we very pleased with the result. Bob turned an ugly unused backyard where we had a significant erosion problem into a beautiful, relaxing spot for us. We have already used our newly transformed backyard to entertain our friends and have received many compliments and ?wows!?. In addition, we have had many, many compliments from the neighbors about how good it looks! We highly recommend Bob and Naturescapes and plan to continue to work with them down the road to address some additional landscaping needs. All went very well, better than expected. The grass was perfect and the gardens werer ready to be planted. All done in a very short amount of time. I left many of the details to Bob because I knew he would produce a great product and I got more than I paid for, in my opinion. Bob left me with great instructions and was available to me if I had questions. I texted him with questions and pictures that he promptly returned with answers. I would recommend Bob and his services to anyone looking for a quality landscape/hardscape service.

I thought it would be more design oriented but it was more of a quote process. Bob was friendly and seemed thorough. There was an issue with a previous pipe installation by another contractor and he thought the wrong pipe was used which could have caused a big problem with drainage. After he left, I emailed him pictures of the pipe before the ditch was filled in. He was honest and said it was the correct pipe. If it had been the wrong pipe, it would have been several thousand dollars to fix the problem so I very much appreciated his honesty. He did give me a couple of design ideas and made a couple of recommendations. In the end I could not afford the price that he quoted to finish the job. Based on my experience, I would recommend him. If the price had been within my budget, I would have definitely given him the job. I liked how detail oriented he was and he seemed like he would be easy to work with.

We would recommend Bob in an instant. He was friendly & easygoing, yet he was responsive and timely in communications and in completing the work. He set the right expectations about the cost & the process so there were no surprises, and he went above and beyond to ensure proper excavation & drainage paths. He gave great advice about finishing the area with landscaping which he also installed, and he involved us properly in the important decisions that always "pop up" in the middle of any improvement project. The end result is beautiful. We couldn't be happier. Bob is not the cheapest guy out there, but you get what you pay for and he is worth every penny. We discussed in detail the scope of the removal of the old driveway, and what materials would be needed for installation of new paver driveway. He took the time to describe the different materials used and why they are used.in creating a long-lasting driveway. He sketched out a walkway and asked pertinent questions regarding current drainage of downspouts, french drains, and utilities. He showed me pictures on his phone of work that Naturescape has done for other clients using the same materials I was interested in. It helped me get a"visual" as to the finished result. Follow up was less than a week later with an cost estimate and time frame for completion. Included was a cost estimate for the patio I was interested in having built. Overall very professional. friendly meeting.

Very smoothly, start to finish. good supervision of all crews, conscientious work by all crew members, including long days when necessary. cleaned up at the end of every day. Bob adjusted to an enlarged scope of work without hesitation, though I knew he had work backed up.

I emailed Bob to request he come out and take a look at my Irrigation system that was pooling water in one spot. Bob promptly called me and told me he would not be able to come out but would be happy to help me diagnose the problem over the phone. After a short process of elimination we discovered that the most likely cause was a punctured/broken pipe underground. Bob told me step by step exactly what to do to fix it myself from digging the trench to sealing the replacement coupling. I'm happy to say I was able to do the repair on my own and the total cost of the parts was less than $10! What a true professional and Gentleman. I would definitely recommend Bob in the future. We had used Naturescape last year to remove and install a new patio. They did an excellent job. So, when we wanted landscaping work to be done this year, we called them right away. Bob came out, and we went over what we wanted to be done. We had had 7 tree stumps grounded down. We needed those holes filled in. There were three garden beds we wanted removed, loamed, and seeded. In addition, there was an area about 30 feet by 80 feet that needed to be leveled out. They used about 10 cubic yards of loam. Seeded the area, and installed about 60 feet of metal edging. We had bark mulch put in too, on the hill behind out pool, in the garden areas in the back yard, and in the front yard around the house and two trees. They edged over 100 feet of grass. Bob even put loam down and seeded other areas of our yard as a bonus. It truly is a pleasure working with Bob from Naturescape. It is a nice feeling knowing you will get quality work, done on time and within budget. We would used them again.

We chose Bob over several other bidders because he was punctual and had many good suggestion for our project. We liked his design and his proposal was realistic and competitively priced. The craftsmanship is first rate. His crew was professional and hard working. We are already planning another project for this year and would definitely consider using Bob for this as well.

I had used Bob last year to do a major back yard excavation, remove large boulders, trees and shrubs, level the area and make it a larger usable space, plus hydroseed the whole backyard. At the time, he made a guarantee that if the grass didn't come in well despite my watering as directed, they would return the following year to re-seed at no cost. I kept in touch with him as the lawn became overtaken with crabgrass, and he reiterated his promise. In the spring, I confirmed with him that he would be coming to re-seed, and at that time he offered me a choice between hydroseeding again or having him "slice" it himself. He explained the difference and that slicing was actually more work and time for him but he would do it at no extra charge. I took him up on it, and he gave me a rough timeline for returning. In the meantime, I contacted him about a spring cleanup, since I hadn't even had time to cleanup my leaves in the fall. I sent him some pictures as requested, and he gave me a quote of $320 for the cleanup and flower bed treatment. This was on par with other estimates my neighbors had been getting from other providers, so given he was the one going to be doing the seeding I went with him. It ended up being a bigger job than he expected, which I understood, but to his credit, he didn't change his estimate and ask for more money. Not only did they do a beautiful job with the lawn and flower beds, but they went above and beyond, cleaning up the area adjacent to the flower beds that wrapped around our side porch and putting down fresh mulch there as well. This space had previously been such an eyesore for us, overgrown with weeds etc, but Bob and his guys really spruced it up and we have gotten nothing but compliments from neighbors and friends since on how nice it looks. Something I would never have even though to ask for, but that's what makes these guys so good - they care more about the outcome and making the customer happy than just grinding through the work requested. Bob has really earned my trust by honoring his commitments, being very responsive (typically answers my emails within minutes!) going above and beyond, and doing great work at very reasonable cost. I will continue to use Naturescape for all my outdoor projects in the future and recommend them every chance I get.

We were very please with his work. He is going to come back in the spring time and do the seeding. I am looking forward to him coming back. I would highly recommend him. The patio is beautiful. He had a lot of suggestions that we used and was very helpful. He encouraged me to get more quotes and what to look for with the other quotes.

That went well and I was happy with the work. It took them awhile from the time I bought the Big Deal in terms of scheduling. Once they came out it only took them a day. 3-4 workers came out and I was happy with the quality of the job. They even went above and beyond with putting in the pavers. They were quick and did a nice job. The work was over $1,000, because I did have to get additional pavers and I got a quote from them ahead of time so that was not a surprise.

First off I would like to say that I read a few negative reviews on here about this company (3 out of over 50) and they left me scratching my head . I was told right up front that this deal was a big hit and they were overwhelmed by the orders that came through......in short...I showed Bob a little patience and he rewarded me with an incredible walkway. I too purchased the Belgard London Cobble Pavers Delivered and Installed deal off of Angie's List promo. I was contacted by Bob within 3 hours of placing the order and made an appointment for a couple of days later. He arrived early with a big handshake and smile. We talked and I told him basically what I wanted .....he mentioned ways of improving on my idea's that were both practical and affordable. Everything centered around the right size walkway for my house and yard. I ended up with a much better deal than I had hoped for and still within my budget. He folded the savings I got from the deal into the price for a larger walkway. We set up a start day and time ...again he arrived a few minutes early with his crew and equipment and proceeded to work right away. Step by step Bob explained what they were doing and why....I never imagined so much work went into building a walkway. I was told that if someone cut corners it would come back to haunt the homeowner later. ....I am proof of that, the walkway I had sank in a few places and had to be replaced before someone broke an ankle or fell down.......perfect example of why I did it right this time. Step after step...demo the old walkway, spray painted and dug out outline of new walkway, layer after layer of different subsurface dirt and sand making sure it was graded right so my elderly parents would have a nice easy and safe walk up to the doorway (the old one had become very difficult to navigate ) top quality pavers placed painstakingly in the pattern I wanted ...top layer of paver sand mix, topped off with landscaping to give it that finished look... and after so much hard work ...I was standing on a work of art. Throughout this entire project it was obvious that Bob and his crew take extreme pride in their work ...and it shows in the finished product.... I could not be happier !!! I am glad to say this is one company that does the job right the 1st time....definitely why I used Angie's List in the first place. I am so happy that I hired them to replace my front stairs with Granite and also will have them do my landscaping. P.S.....Had a realtor friend come over to check out the finished product. Without telling her what I spent for it she said it increased the value of my house by @ $5000 .....more than 3 times what I paid. That was the icing on the cake for me. If I haven't said it enough Bob...Thank You and your crew !!!
