In sort: Bob did a fantastic job at a great price. He truly went above and beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate recommending his services to a friend. Longer: Bob was hired to demo an in ground pool at my Mom's house. Why did we choose Bob? He responded quickly to my calls, was a pleasure to deal with on the phone, quickly provided us a written estimate, and boy oh boy, the price was right. Thousands less than the other estimates we received. This was a very emotional project for my Mom. The pool brings back a lot of memories. And getting rid of it is no small job! She did not sleep the night before the work was to start. Full of nerves. But once Bob and crew arrived she calmed down a lot. Confident that she was in good hands. Everything was done pretty quickly. With most of the work occurring over the course of three days. Bob had good suggestions about how to preserve portions of the patio and flagstone. Our original estimate did not factor in the cost of removing the pool filter and enclosure. But Bob took care of it at no extra cost. I was not around to see the crew working on the pool. But Bob sent me pictures. And I saw the end result. He truly did a fantastic job. I know this all may come across as a little too gushing. But my Mom and I really are extremely pleased. Was there anything that could have been done better? Sure. There was some miscommunication here and there with regards to scheduling. But it wasn't a big deal fur us. Honestly, if we paid twice as much for this job, we'd still be happy. Do not hesitate to hire Bob for your next job!

Bob answered my call for an estimate (a plus given that its tough this time of year to get someone to answer a call) and discussed the project. He had great ideas and seemed professional but wouldn't take the job because, as he put it: he is picking his "battles" and prefers to work closer to home. I'm in south Brookline, well within the service area posted on Angie's List. It must be wonderful to have so much business that he can pick and choose. I'm sure he's great at what he does but be advised if you live close to Boston he may not take your job.

He came as promised. The report toos an extra week, but he had a big surge of business so no problem. It was thoughtful and considered.

Bob Whyte (owner of Naturescape) was superb. The entire project came out terrific! Bob (and his crew) was professional and strived for excellence and we feel he attained it too! Throughout the entire project, Bob was great at communicating everything with us. He had great ideas and vision on how to put a project like this one together. We feel that he handled this project like it was his own. He truly wanted us to be happy with the final product and we were! He?s a wonderful contractor to work with and an all around nice guy! We would absolutely use him again! FYI: The replacing of the driveway stairs was particularly a difficult task due to the existing wall surrounding the stairs and how the stairs measured different lengths as they ascended from the driveway up to the front lawn. It really took a skilled hand at the cutting of the granite stairs and their positioning. Also Bob did an excellent job with the redesigning of the walkway connection to the driveway stairs to include the stairway landing. We feel that Bob was a very talented and experienced contractor!

Bob was great to work with! We had some ideas already as to what we wanted. He listened to us and made some great suggestions. When he laid out the area with markers so we could visualize the space, we realized that it would not work well for us. He worked with us some more to try out other scenarios until we got it right! He and Santana were here early every day and were very hard working. They used several layers of material to provide a very stable base for the patio and the shed. Each layer was compacted to give the best results. My husband and I are thrilled with the results. I would recommend Bob Whyte for any of your landscape projects.

He came over and looked around , but failed to provide any design or price estimation .

Provider does not offer the services I was looking for but was very responsive to my inquiry, polite, and offered me some advice on what to look for and expect. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

We found Naturescape and Bob Whyte through Angie's list. The work was done at a family summer home in Plymouth. Essentially the job was replacing two fairly long (50-100 feet) retaining walls that were rotted landscape timbers with formed concrete/stone blocks. We obtained 3 estimates and Naturescape was the best value. Bob Whyte was great. He met with me multiple times prior to the job and kept us updated with e-mails about the progress of the work and with numerous photographs. He offered good advice about various options. He went beyond the minimum we had agreed to simply because he felt it was the right way to do the job and did not go over the estimated price. Overall, I think we got high quality work for a very fair price and expert, professional service. I would recommend Naturescape without hesitation and, in fact, plan on using them for future work.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was fine. It wasn't great but it was okay. The estimate was around $5000, I believe. He seemed very busy. He seemed to have a lot on his plate. The actual consultation was good but the estimate and stuff was slow in coming after that. The ideas that they came up with were good. There was nothing wrong with that. My only concern was I don't know whether another landscaping company would give a free consultation that was very similar to the one I paid ($50-something).

We wanted to get a retaining wall, but he suggested to level out the yard instead. That saved us some money and also gave us a bigger yard. He thinks quickly to help solve people's problems.

We had two other estimates and this company seemed to have their stuff together. They were able to show us before and after pictures at jobs the did recently. Reasonable pricing and great work and great clean up. Very happy!!

Everything went very well from start to finish. Bob did a great job helping me evaluate exactly what needed to be done (my intial idea would have been impractical and execssively expensive). Bob came up with a new design that met our intent perfectly a a very reasonable price. Some additional minor work was required beyond the original quote, which he performed at no additional cost. The work was done promptly and looks great. Bob was very professional, easy to talk to and responded to my inquiries promptly. I plan on using Bob in the future for additional projects!

My complaint is that he did not follow thru on what I paid for. Which includes the written proposal and onsite layout, including pricing.

Bob and his crew were prompt and efficient . They arrived on time and were very professional. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my yard, so I let Bob and his visions create a beautiful walkway and landscaping. I am extremely happy with the outcome of this project and will definitely use Bob again.

He was very knowledgeable and helpful with requirements. He made some suggestions to explore different options.

originally was going to do small back patio area in 2013. However in spring of 2014 decided that we needed a new front walk way so that is what we did. The new walkway is a major improvement over what we had previously

We had a good experience. The quality was excellent. Bob White, the owner, was easy to deal with. It took a little longer than I thought but overall I was very satisfied. I would absolutely recommend them. We were very happy with the quality of the work. I would absolutely use them again.

The service went very well. Bob Whyte, the owner, came out right away to discuss a plan and give us an estimate. I did pay an additional $900 to cover a much bigger area. I thought the pricing was very fair. He had great ideas and did not try to push sales on me for things I did not need. They did a beautiful patio and landing for us. A crew of 4 came out and completed the job in 1 day. The work they did was fantastic. They were very flexible with my schedule.

It went well. It matches the pool area and it looks amazing. The employees were reliable, polite, punctual, professional and extremely hard workers.

Very well. Bob was very helpful in giving guidance on options, esthetics and cost. Very focused on doing the job right, and explaining what that means in time, cost, and durability of the product. We had some delays due to rain, but Bob was proactive in communication on the revised when as well as the why (can't do certain pieces of the work until the ground dries. Once on site, the work went quickly and smoothly, and looks beautiful. He also actively solicited feedback via angie's and in person, which I appreciated. The price wasn't a bargain, but definitely fair and easily worth the quality and piece of mind of working with a pro. I'd highly recommend Bob and team.

Bob seemed great. He made an appointment. The day of the appointment he texted to say that he would be late. He eventually came and we were very impressed. We were open to ideas and loved a lot of what he suggested. He even said (without even asking) that he would provide quotes separately for a couple of items he suggested. He said he wouldn't have an estimate for about a week. We had a quote from another landscaper and were waiting on a 3rd. After he left, both my wife and I thought that if were any where close to the other 2 estimates we would choose him. I texted him 13 days later and he promptly replied when you work 7 days a week time gets away and that he would have something within a week. We eagerly awaited his proposal. We waited 11 days from that point before we hired one of the other 2 landscapers we had quotes from.

We bought the house the year before and immediately noticed a gurgling sound and an egg smell in the kitchen sink whenever we ran the washing machine. We had 4 different plumbers eliminate various possible causes until it was finally determined that the pipe from the house to the septic tank was cracked. The good news is we have two pipes and this was the washing machine and kitchen pipe and not the human waste pipe but it was annoying and likely a health hazard. Bob was one of two contractors we contacted and he came in cheaper without the up-sell of the other guy. Once the job started, it was soon realized that not only all our utilities ran right over the broken pipe (which we expected and dig safe confirmed but a gas line and a French drain too. They were careful and worked by hand around this area. This slowed them down by about a day but this was understandable. Also they had to remove a large cement pad under the front door. He got us in touch with a carpenter to replace the step since he noticed some wood rotten around the cement pad and suggested that a composite step would allow for better air flow and reduce further rotting once the new wood was installed.

Bob priced the job well compared to another provider and suggested improvements to our original idea, which we agreed to. The wall and lamp.post came out great and we are happy with the overall experience.

Bob spent a lot of time communicating with me and answering all my questions via email, phone calls, and in person. My house already had a sprinkler system installed but I knew it wasn't installed correctly and we added a fence to our property so our sprinkler system was not getting all areas of our lawn evenly. Bob came out one evening and we went over everything including helping me plan out a patio area for a hot tub I was buying. Bob always had great advise and was very knowledgeable. He notice I some trees recently installed and noticed they were not getting enough water and told me how much they should be getting daily. It took me a few weeks to finally move forward with the sprinkler system and I'm so glad I did. Bob and his team did a great job. They installed 10 zones for me and covered my entire property with even coverage. His team came back out a couple of times to adjust the heads and change the timer to help make sure the grass was getting even coverage and help with my soil as it's very compacted in some areas which causes it to retain a lot of water in some spots. The whole process was great. I can't say enough about Bob and his team!
