Our house suffered some damage caused by a few large oak trees falling on our house (hurricane Irene). We began looking for contractors who could repair the damages that was caused and found CSP. I called Chris and he was very polite on the phone and was able to come out and give me an estimate on the house very quickly. He was very thorough and listened to me and my wife about what we needed to have repaired. The estimate we received was very competitive, so we decided to hire him to perform the repairs. When the work began, Chris and hit team were right on time every day. They were extremely professional, well dressed (appropriately dressed for the work they were doing) and extremely efficient. The broken areas of our roof were repaired on the first day and I could not even tell they had performed the work until I got into the attic to check it out. The shingle work was amazing and looks wonderful. He also fixed the flashing around our chimney (very well). The gutters on the front of the house were removed and replaced on the second day. They performed this task extremely quick and professionally, leaving us with a very wonderful (and level) gutter over the front of the house. They began painting the interior of the house on the second day as well and I have to say, the did an amazing job. They paid very close attention to the trim work, correcting slight imperfections in the trim and on the paint. The laundry room was painted white and I was floored by how wonderful the room looked after they had finished. The living room came out the same way, we (my wife and I) could not be happier. They also had to replace the front fascia board on our house (again, due to storm damage). The new board was cut to fit and looks wonderful. The siding work done on the house was very well done. All the original vinyl siding was removed and was replaced with new Hardie Plank. We chose not to go with the vinyl after a recommendation by Chris, who told us that one, the siding we currently have on our house was no longer available (the house was built in 1970) and two, the hardie plank was far more durable. We are very happy that he recommended the new plank as they look amazing on the side of the house. The old vinyl was removed and in a neat pile. They then added a tyvex cover to the brownboard on the house before adding the siding. Each piece of the siding was carefully measured and applied with care. They caulked around the windows to seal them up (as they originally were not) and then painted the siding. The new siding is just amazing. From a distance you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the new siding and the old (which Chris has informed us would be the case). After the work was completed, they were very good about cleaning up all the debris and items they had used while working on the house. This was wonderful as we have had work done previously where we needed to clean up a few things after they had finished. This was not the case with Chris and CSP; they cleaned up everything, leaving the yard looking the same way they had found it. I cannot express how happy we are that we were able to find Chris and his team. We would recommend him to anyone looking for work to be performed on their house. We are now planning on expanding our kitchen area and will be using CSP when we are ready for the work to be performed. I honestly wish I could give them an A+ as a rating because interacting with Chris and his team from start to finish was a wonderful experience and I feel the work he did on the house was just fantastic.

Chris and his team were so professional and respectful. They were on time everyday and if they were going to be even a little late, Chris would call to let me know. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. I was consulted as the job progressed and things came up. I was asked to inspect their work and give them feedback. They resolved every issue that my husband and I told them about. One such problem was the stain on the shed. They used some leftover stain we had rather than buying new stain. This was to save money and the stain looked OK. After a few days the shed looked old and dirty. So Christ got new stain and his team did the job again at no extra charge. You know it was the little things that made this such a good experience. Chris bought new house numbers because he couldn't see putting the old ones on that great paint job. He also did me the favor of changing some lightbulb that had burnt out and were so high up that I couldn't get to them. I would hire Chris and his crew again. The house looks great !!

Called Chris and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived promptly, provided a reasonable estimate and purchased required materials. Chris worked efficiently and provided professional services. The overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Chris for any type of work or services. The overall process was very smooth. I was very satisfied with the completed job. From the estimate to completion, Chris was involved. I would definitely use Chris/C.S.P. Contracting in the future.

The painting was very well done. He paid good attention to details and trim. He protected the furniture and floors from damage. Very pleased with the results. Did a great job on the pressure wash. House siding and steps looks like new. The deck is great. Looks very nice. Windows and door repairs were well done. Chris Parkhurst was very responsive. He was focused on customer service and quality work. I would recommend him to my friends and call him again if I need more work.

Chris does outstanding work. He takes great pride in his work and truly provides professional quality with care. He's not satisfied until you are 100% satisfied with his work. The two year warranty that he gives on his work is an added bonus that makes the investment well worth the money.

Chris was very courteous and professional from the first time we spoke over the phone. He managed to work with me on scheduling a time, ensuring that our time worked in favor of my busy schedule, and subsequently, he gave me an estimate prior to starting any work. After all the work was completed, Chris focused on my happiness with his work before looking to receive payment.

As stated above from start to finish the job was started and completed on time with great expertise.

They charged me about $1000 for the paint and the labor. They did a great job. I thought that I was going to have a company that is out of town coming to the house. So, I wanted things done before the weekend and I didn’t know if I was going to get any takers on that. I sent some e-mails and asked CSP Contracting as to how quickly they could do it. Then the guy got back with me later that day. He came out the next day. He came prepared to clean the deck and he cleaned the deck. Then he came back the next day and stained it. He also came back the next day and did the second coat. On Friday, I had all the work done that I needed done. He was energetic and enthusiastic. He helped me pick the paint color and made suggestions. He left everything clean and his workmanship was perfect. They do that all the time. He told me what most people would go with. During that same time frame, he painted my front railings. One of my older kids had painted the previous year, but it went off about six months later. So, the guy from CSP Contracting said that I have to use a good paint because it gets direct sun. He also said that if we didn’t use a good paint, then we would have to do it all the time. I didn’t want to do it myself and I wanted to pay somebody to do it. It looks like it will stay for three years or more. I got exactly what I wanted. He got over here and got it done. He worked me in. He already had obligations until Friday, but he said that if he started, then he would get it all done. He was definitely a go-getter. He is not going to be doing the hard work very long and he is going to hire somebody else to do it.

This has been the best contractor experience I ever had had in my life. The owner, Christopher is organized, professional, keeps all promises, and went beyond the terms of the original contract for no additional fee. I joked with Christopher that he is more professional than most doctors; only, it's not a joke. He is. It all started with the bid. It was the most professionally prepared bid I've seen. It detailed all aspects of the work. It was delivered the day he said it would be delivered. Christopher then gave me a courtesy call the day before he was scheduled to start. He showed up on time. When I came home the first day, Christopher showed me the porch damage. Within a couple of hours, he had lined up a subcontractor, outlined the materials, and prepared a verbal estimate for me. The additional work included re-roofing and re-shingling. By that evening, I had his by now expected complete estimate. In fixing the porch roof, both Christopher and the subcontractor recommended changes to the original design aimed at protecting the porch roof in the future. Even with the additional work, Christopher finished the job ahead of schedule. When my wife asked him to clean a hard to reach window, it was done. He repainted the garage door even though the contract dic not spec it. He provided some of the porch materials for free because his labor costs were lower than he estimated. There is no question as to whether or not I will use Christopher again. It's only a matter of when.

Chris did a wonderful job. He was very professional and on time. We had some stains on our ceiling in the Master Bath and Chris had no problem coming back a couple of times to make sure the stain was covered properly. He also took care of some major sheet rock damage in our bathroom. You can't tell which part of the bathroom is original and which part had the patch work done. His painting skills are great. He is very neat and cleans up after he is done. We will definitely call him again to do the rest of the house.

Overall it went extremely well. Chris was prompt and professional. Ensured the job was done right the first time and gave me a good deal. Already have several more projects for him to take care of in the near future. (As budget allows) Would highly recommend for any paint jobs someone might have. He won't disappoint.

Chris took on my two story roof with many different pitches and did a wonderful job. I forgot that I had Burgundy in my roof until Chris was finished. He also removed moss on the north side and two months later, the 15+ year old roof looks still looks new. Cleaned large back-yard deck and stained. Has not looked this good in many of years. Fence post was rotting and Chris replaced the post, and face board by the gutters and it looks exactly like the original post. Also Chris had the paint made to match. Chris was always on-time very professional and work very hard, long days to get the job done.. I was very impressed with Cris and C.S.P. Contracting and would highly recommend Chris very any of the categories; Deck Maintenance, Painting - Exterior, Carpentry - Woodworking, Roof Cleaning. I am sure you will receive a great job at a fair price.

Chris did an excellent and professional job. He came to my house on the estimate appointment even though his truck was in the shop for repairs. He had scheduled to do the work for us on a Friday, but called back when he had a cancellation and was able to get to it 2 days earlier. He was prompt, efficient with his time and did speedy but comprehensively professional work. He went out of his way to obtain a hard-to-match front door color, then was able to do the entire door system (framing around it, etc.) and made it look brand new. Our neighbors have commented on how good the work looks. He did some repair of woodwork around the doors to our storage shed, repainted the repairs, and they all look brand new. I will have Chris return and to our interior painting once our movers have finished taking our furniture out of the home. I would absolutely and unhesitatingly recommend Christ and CSP Contracting to anyone.

C.S.P. Contracting arrived promptly and started work immediately. Painting was completed timely with very little down time. After the painting was completed, no clean-up was necessary. Could not have asked for more conscientious or professional individuals. Highly recommend their services and will use them in the future.

It went very well. There area where the access doors were needed was an odd place but he was able to work it out so the doors would work. The amount of stain that we were quoted ended up not being enough. Not because Chris made a mistake, but because after seeing it on, my husband and I wanted it darker. So we had Chris add another coat. He was more then willing and the additional price was fair.

Our new home needed some settling cracks patched and a few other minor repairs (in preparation for graduation event), plus it was time for yearly gutter cleaning and pressure washing. I had toyed with the idea of using the same company my neighbor used for their settling cracks and painting, but as they were less than pleased with their final results, I opted to go with Chris from CSP Contracting. And I'm very glad I did! We received quality results far exceeding the minimal price he charged. After I saw the kind of workmanship CSP put into their efforts, I kept adding to his "handy-do" list. His estimate was extremely fair, he was always on time, he kept us informed of what had been, or was going to be done to the house, and he's more of a perfectionist than I am! He did such an excellent job, we have scheduled him to come back to paint our third bathroom and will have him install a kitchen back-splash in the near future. After being disappointed with the questionable craftsmanship of our home builder, it has been a true pleasure dealing with someone who values workmanship and customer service the way Chris does. CSP is my first and only call for all home painting and general household handiwork!

Chris was on time and worked some long days to make sure the work got done before our gutter people arrived. He removed our gutters and hauled them off free. He even applied the recycling fee he received from the gutters to our bill as a credit. Overall we were very happy with his services. We did a walk through afterward and there were a few things we wanted change/corrected, but they were minor and he did want we wanted with no problems.

Punctual, arrived when promised, work was efficient, informative estimates, down to earth professional service preformed, quite reasonable in billing, and overall experience was superior on a scale of poor to superior. Highly recommend CSP for any work / services. CSP is an excellent choice.
