He arrived on time; did the job; had to cut out a piece of the windowsill in order for the faucet to fit. My fault. I purchased the faucet. He called first to make sure it was okay. I told him to do it. He did a neat job. Cleaned up after himself and priced the job reasonably. I have used him in the past, and will continue to use him when I need a plumber.

Very pleased with everything. Would definitely hire again.

Smooth scheduling, prompt arrival, quick repair, good service!

This is our second experience with Dan of DMG Plumbing, and the first time he's performed work for us. The first time, he came to give us an estimate for solving the low water-pressure we had in a shower. He won our loyalty that day by (at no charge for any of it): - Taking off the shower head and removing the iron flakes that were causing the low pressure; - Advising me on how to fix the dripping water from the shower head; - Looking at our old, iron inlet pipe in the basement and our well 150 feet away; - Telling us that, in time, we will need a new inlet pipe; - Also telling us that not replacing the pipe would not cause harm to any of our internal pipes; - Finally, telling us that, if we were willing to clear out the iron flakes periodically, we could wait probably two years before needing to replace the inlet pipe. As you can imagine, this experience gave us an extremely good impression of Dan as someone who is willing to give information and help, and is not trying to convince us to spend money with him any time soon. After that experience, when I broke an under-sink sewer pipe while trying to clean out a trap last week, we naturally called Dan. We called on a Friday afternoon; he was able to come the following Tuesday morning. The person who answers his phone was clear, prompt, and helpful. She even joked with me by saying, "We'll just tell him there's a broken pipe. We don't need to tell him that YOU broke it." Dan came within the window of time promised. He fixed the broken pipe and replaced the fixed trap with one that can be removed for cleaning (a "union" trap). He cleaned the hair from the stopper. All along the way, he showed me how to do each step, so that I could do it myself next time if I wanted to. Then, without increasing his fee, he looked at two other problems in the house. He told me how to fix the leaking kitchen drain (that two other plumbers had already tried unsuccessfully to fix) and told me that the amount of water flowing into our bathtub during a shower was the right amount, so that no repair was necessary. Before he left, he cleaned up after himself completely. All in all, Dan showed himself to be: 1. Skilled; 2. Caring; 3. Willing to help in any way he could; 4. Happy to tell me how to do smallish jobs myself; 5. More interested in doing a good job and building a relationship with me, than with making a quick buck. His prices seem in line with those of other plumbers. So, as I told Dan today, he is our perfect plumber. I would recommend him to anyone needing a plumber!

Dan got in touch me promptly after contacting him through Angie's List and he came out to the house a few days later - on time. There was a delay in getting a full proposal for the work (about a month), but after that, the work was scheduled within a week or 10 days after we approved the plan. Dan arrived when he said he would and finished on time. The water inflow pipe to the toilet was too long for the new toilet, so he shortened it (without charge). Very satisfied, especially since I had called at least four other plumbers before signing up for Angie's list and none of them even returned my phone calls.

Excellent service, they arrived on time, were very professional. We were pleased and will hire them again in the future, but hopefully my son has learned not to flush toys!

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the work that was done by Dan from DMG Plumbing. Removing the tub surround that had been installed 20+ years ago and installing the new one was job for a professional and we are glad that we did not attempt to do it ourselves! We can't speak highly enough about the the courtesy and professionalism of this company. The workmanship is outstanding and the price fair. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be using DMG in the future!

I have only great things to say about Dan & Anna at DMG Plumbing. They do things correctly. Highly responsive, highly detailed in estimates and Dan does quality work. When we had a bit of a minor situation in our basement last year, Dan swung by to check on us at no charge (nothing needed to be done but it was awesome that he cares about his customers). We're definitely going to utilize them again in future renovations (the other bathrooms, laundry rooms) and we have no hesistation to recommend them to anyone for plumbing.

The service worked out fine. I think he fixed it. He just seemed to be in quite a big rush and seemed to be overpriced for what I got. He was friendly. I would probably not use them again in the future because of the price.

I was not very happy with them. I had used them once before and for a plumbing company they are pretty expensive and the issue came back as it was not fixed satisfactorily. They were responsive and on time. They are easy to get in touch with and easy to schedule with but the quality of the work I was not happy with. He went over the 1 hour by 5 minutes and he said it was going to be billed at 1 1/2 hours or two hours. For the job that they did that was not appropriate. I would tell a friend to be cautious if using them.

Good up until he presented teh $240.00 bill. I purchased online a 1-hour discounted service call at $135.. So, I thought the job would ultimately cost me nothing. But when he gave me the invoice it was broken down as such; $40 for the handle, which I looked up online and costs $20. Then, there was $60 a service call fee and the 1-hour labor for 1st hour for $135 all totaling $240. So, less my $135 it still cost me $105 for 15 minutes. That's insane to me. I will not call them back.

I wrote a negative review on DMG Plumbing on Dec 117 2014 for follow up on work done on May 22 2014. My complaint was based on no return calls after a problem. It turned out that they did make a follow up call, but had the wrong phone # for me in their file. I decided to give DMG another chance, and I'm glad I did. The work was done quickly, professionally and responsibly. The price was fair, too. I'm glad that DMG and I are back to a good relationship!

When he came to my home, he didn't have the correct epoxy for the job, but he was very nice about getting the right glue and making sure to make an appointment with me to come right back. He was very professional and detailed. He was also very nice and friendly, and that makes the experience even all that more enjoyable and bearable. I was very relieved and appreciative when the work was done.

Dan arrived right on time, and immediately set to work, explaining what he planned to do, and troubleshooting. He tried hard to just replace the handle for the less costly option, but it was too broken, so he quickly and efficiently replaced the faucet. He was tidy and quick and very pleasant and professional. Definitely excited that we've found a great plumber!

Dan showed up on time and well prepared. The job went smooth and the new Vormax toilet is a vast improvement over the 15 yr old model he replaced.

Dan came over initially to review what was needed and gave me an estimate. Showed up early and got to work. He completed the items we currently needed very quick and did a great job.

When the plumber arrived he was on time, however it took me 42 days to get the appointment. That was in part due to the complicated process of getting a non-sewer meter installed according to the regulations of our town. The plumber worked fast and professionally.

I called DMG based off of their amazing rating on Angie's List. I was looking to replace the copper in my house with PEX while we're in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Dan and Anna were very prompt to get back to me and set up an appointment for that Saturday (May 2). I received a call on Saturday morning that Dan would not be able to make it and asked if we could reschedule for the following day (Sunday). We agreed on a 11am and Dan was there a little early. We went over what I wanted done, he took some pictures and measurements. I had stated that this was the last thing I needed before the walls could be closed up and my kitchen could be finished, so he agreed to send me an estimate within the next couple of days. "Tuesday at the latest." were his words. I had high hopes and couldn't have been happier at this point. Little did I know, this is where the professionalism and courtesy would end. Tuesday came and went. I let Wednesday and most of Thursday go thinking he might've been very busy. I called Thursday night and reached Anna. She told me she'd get in touch with Dan and that I would hear something from one of them that night, either by phone or email. I heard nothing. I called Friday morning and Anna explained to me that Dan said he would contact me and that maybe they had my email wrong. I gave her my email again. I heard nothing. When I called back at noon I stated I hadn't heard anything and that maybe I need to look for another plumber, Anna stated "That's fine, you go ahead and do that." No attempt to reconcile the situation. When I stated that I was shocked based off of the Angie's List score and stated that I wouldn't be able to give them a positive review, she stated "That's okay, goodbye." and she hung up. I have heard nothing since. Apparently they have enough work to pick and choose their customers with no regard for professionalism.

Prompt response from receptionist Anna. Dan arrived on time and hooked up our gas dryer and connected pre-purchased dryer vent from the dryer to the existing vent hole in the wall. Very professional. He even waived cost of small parts needed for the job, because we are new home owners! Not a big cost on his part, but a made a big impact on his customer service.

Arrived promptly. After quickly showing him the issue, David went right to work. He found the leak was due a small part that had broken. He had the part and replaced on the spot. After fixing, he explained the issue and the fix and the invoice - he did not charge for the part nor did he try to make the work seem more complicated or expensive. I thought very fair in his billings. As an additional plus, my previous tenant had taken the shower head from the upstairs bathroom - David had one in his truck so he could check the waterflow issue and then gave us the shower for free. Overall a great experience.

We emailed back and forth and they informed me the soonest they can schedule an appointment is next week and I need an appointment sooner.

Dan arrived in the morning as expected. He quickly assessed the issue and repaired it within 30 minutes. This is the 2nd time we have used DMG and both experiences were great! The first service was a leaking drain pipe that Dan was able to repair rather than replace, saving us hundreds of $$. We really like how Dan gave us options. DMG will continue to be our "go to" for all of our plumbing needs.

The job was performed in a timely manner and the work was excellent.

It wasn’t so good. He used super cheap parts. After he left, everything leaked. My wife had to tighten everything up to stop to leak. The cost was too much and the quality wasn’t what I wanted.
