Very quick and professional response to initial inquiries and all follow up communication during the season. Work always done on schedule. Not only thorough in their work but very considerate replacing lawn furniture. First landscape contractor I’ve worked with who went a whole season without breaking something. Their ‘’Quickbook’ invoice system is very convenient and good for my record keeping.

Vinny and Joe were at my home 7am everyday of the project. Joe placed every paver with precision. The team made recommendations on what colors and pavers would look best.

It went extremely well. They were prompt and quick. The crew came in completed the work and left without an issue. They did a great job and would hire them again.

No response despite several attempts to request a proposal.

Everything has been excellent so far. Good communications, reasonable estimate of number of hours needed and cost to do job. Highly recommend.

Great. Took beds that had been neglected for years and gave me a great feeling to come home to them. Did what he said he would, fair price, was great at giving some advice about some irrigation issues I was having and solved a problem for low money I had written off (water that was carving a ditch into the side of my yard) Easy to work with and team was professional.

Somebody that we used to use went out of/stopped doing the business and he referred us to Vinny. I thought, he said he was on Angie’s List.

They are great. They transformed the front of our house. It was really nice. The crew is polite and the kids are great. I can come out and tell them can you trim this tree for me today and they do whatever I ask. They are very polite and clean. Vinnie comes around too and when I want something different. The lawn looks so terrible because of the draught, that now we are thinking about getting more stonework.

I have used VJR Landscape Design for 4 years now and I will continue to use them. They do a great job and my yard looks great. They removed the leaves from every square inch of my yard. I had VJR do the leaves and debris cleaning during the Fall for the second consecutive year. They did a great job. Contact me in a timely fashion for the appointment and then my spouse for the final arrangements. They were punctual, did and excellent job in the allotted time and I and spouse were very please with the work performed.

Vinnie had a number of workers here with him at different points during the day; I guess they each have their specialty. It was lots of work and Vinnie knows how to get it done with spectacular results in the shortest time possible. Very personable and remembered me and my family in between the time of fall and spring [early summer] cleanings. Good value for the money, DEFINITELY rehire.

They did a fantastic job. They were very professional and on time. They did what they said they would do. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Vinny was very professional and did an amazing job creating the exact patio I wanted. He worked with me to choose the best patio pavers and fire pit kit. He kept his committed start date and finished the job in just a couple days. The results were incredible. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.

The yard work that we had VJR do was done beautifully and professionally. Our flower beds look amazing! They were weeded; edged and mulched. The edging is done to perfection! The bushes that they pruned look like new bushes! We are extremely happy with the outcome. We have also used VJR for Fall & Spring clean ups. They have always done 100% quality work for us and will continue to use them!

The job went GREAT. VJR sent 2 young men. They worked non stop. and completed the project. The were polite , very hard working and punctual with arrival and leaving on time. Vinny responded immediately to my initial phone call and was out the next day to take a look at what could be done with my property, especially an area with endless mulch that I wanted to change to something more appealing. Vinny suggested shade grass with mulch beds and also gave me a quote for the other work I wanted done as well. The pricing was reasonable and Vinny helped me design a walkway that I couldn't love more. I have had many compliments on it already. His crew showed up early and stayed late to get the job done, all in one day! Several neighbors commented that VJR and crew were there when they left for work and were still working when they arrived home! VJR is coming back in the fall to split seed and aerate the whole lawn and I'm going to have them handle the periodic application of fertilizer, etc. so that the lawn has the best chance of improvement. I highly recommend this company for their strong work ethic, skills and friendly manner.

Vinny and team cleared an area of my side yard that had a 6 foot pile of dirt, rocks and debris that was left when we had a new well dug. The leveld the entire area about 200 sq ft, put down loam and grass. Also mulched the downslope area that was anther 40-50 sq ft. Bought a deal that was $319 for 8 hours of work. Ended up paying an additional $260 for materials. Overall, they did a great job I was a little nervous because they hadn't had a ton of review but my experience was perfect. When I bought the deal, Vinny responded right away, we set up a time and he had a crew at my house 7:30 in the mornign and got to work done perfectly. Will definately use them again!

He never showed up and I called him three times.

The work was done quickly professionally and completed on time. I want to give an A++ for VJR on their communication & availability. Vinny was very reachable (actually traded many text messages) as I wanted to clarify specifics of the expected work, as well as, continue to add to the list of services as I felt the pricing was very reasonable. I had not performed a spring/fall cleanup for over three years (since we had gotten a puppy who was damaging the yard, etc...) VJR not only cleaned out the beds as requested but also removed a lot of debris (raked leaves, grass clippings, branches) that I had piled in a small wooded area of our yard (It was an eyesore). They were very flexible when I continued to add services - trim all the shrubs next to the patio, pull out 6 shrubs and two small trees in front yard, etc... and still performed the work in the timely fashion with no risk to the quality of work... We are considering having the front walkway & stairs repaired/replaced and VJR will be on top of the list for our next phone call.

Vinny came to the house to walk through our yard and provide a price for the clean-up and mowing service. He did an excellent job on the yard cleanup. Our yard hasn't looked so good in years! He was very friendly, responsive, up front, and does excellent work. I'd recommend him to anyone and I'll probably be doing more with him in the future.

My backyard was looking like a jungle after a year of neglect, a dog that likes digging and massive snow mountains from this year's winter. Vinny came to our house and gave us a fair estimate and a good starting date - roughly 2 weeks. He called me back to confirm the start date. On the agreed date, he and his crew showed up early and were done with the work in roughly 2 hrs. I will certainly continue hiring this company's services for maintenance and sprucing up my back and front yards for next year.

The owner came by one day to check out the lot and discuss with me what I wanted done. He then emailed me an estimate, breaking tasks into sections so that my husband and I could decide on exactly what we wanted done based on what we could afford at the time. I then spoke with him and let him know what we wanted done at this time; he gave me a timeframe in which I could expect the work to be done, and the work was done well within that timeframe. My husband and I are very happy with the work that was done.
