Excellent very helpful

There was a pipe blow in my dishwasher line,witch resulted in a flood. I immediately told them that I turned off the water valve. When I explained to them on the phone that the leak was coming from the dishwasher, they said no problem and they would be able to fix it. It took them 2 days and several phone calls to get them to come out. After they finally arrived they said that I needed an appliance repair person and that I had a leak in my sink. The gentleman said we don't do that! They said they fixed a leak in my sink. I did not have a leak in my sink to begin with. The provider keeps sending me bills and adding finance charges, but they never fixed the problem. I feel liked I have been scammed, therefore I have not made any payments on any services yet because they have not fixed the actual problem. Also I am going to have to pay someone else to come out and fix the original problem and I will be out more expense. Many times I have tried to reach out to them regarding these issues. They claimed that they called me back, but they said the phone just rang and rang. I don't recall receiving any phone calls from them.

They were quick to respond to set up an appointment and called again the next day because an earlier time slot opened up, which I really appreciated. Tom was right on time, listened to my explanation of the situation, and went to work. He explained to me what was wrong, even went to the trouble of properly securing the new dishwasher to the cabinet. I thought the cost was reasonable for what he did and the time spent. He also quoted a reasonable price for another project we want done in the basement. Will absolutely call them again.

WELL.............. Tom showed up RIGHT ON TIME .I had a window from 9 to 11 . At 9.05 he was here. VERY personable and KIND TO MY DOG. very neat efficient and the price was less than I expected. I called at 7:30 in the morning after I woke up to six inches of water in my basement. Scott from Thrasher was out to my house with a new water heater by 10:30 AM. He finished hauling away the old water heater and installing the new one in less than two hours.

They had to re-do all the plumbing work to incorporate the washer. It was a wonderful experience. They are very efficient and are always on time. Everything gets cleaned up really well, you can't even tell they were here.

They would not return any of our calls. We called about 4-5 times. I had used the company for about 6-8 months. I had used them in the past to put a regulator on the furnace. When they first came out I really liked them and had planned on using them regularly. I was just very disappointed as a customer and by their lack of response. I ended up going with another company because they never returned my calls and could not provide an emergency service. I never received an apology from them either when they called back the next day.

He knew what he was doing - very smart guy. When I asked him for a price, he'd throw out a number without breaking down the estimate which bugged me. But he did exquisite work and saved me a fortune.

Very responsive. Charged $265 but it was saturday afternoon and it was understandable given that it was emergency. Came within a couple hours as he stated on phone (called me back right away) and once there fixed the issue and even made sure that whole house filter was tightened and checked which is where I thought leak was coming originally but wasn't. Definitely would recommend and use again. Expensive but what good plumber isn't and the level of responsiveness and professionalism was worth it.

Once I had an installation date, things proceeded smoothly and well. They showed up on time and worked with me to coordinate with representatives from New England Gas. I have absolutely no problems to note. The installers even left connections for future work I had mentioned. Some thought was put into the whole set-up which will make operation of the system and any other work easier. I liked that the work was explained well and that any questions I had were answered.

Everything went great. The guy was nice and polite.

I called them to get a leak in my basement fixed. I was told that they charge $95 to just come and take a look, and then if I use them to get the leak fixed, the amount would be applied towards that. The plumber arrived on time and he told us that a clog was the cause of the leak. He then tells us that they charge $265 an hour for the first hr and then $65 for every 15 mins after that. I was kind of shocked. In part it was my mistake, I should have checked the rates when I called them the day before.....But I also feel that when I talked to them, they should have told me before hand how much they charge clearly. Finally, we didnt get the work done by him and called Baker-Elman plumbing who charge $135 an hr and fixed the clog in like 45 mins..... So overall, the folks at Thrasher were very professional, but they are very expensive to work with and there are many other very good plumbers who charge half of what Thrasher charges.....

Within one day of contacting company plumber came to the house at appointment time. The process was explained to me and price quoted. After agreeing to the job work began and was finished within an hour. He cleaned up thoroughly and was very pleasant. I would definately hire them again

The last job was a septic pipe repair and they were prompt, thorough and professional--from the service provider to the office personnel.

Scott's son came down within an hour to assess the situation and give us an estimate. Price was excellent and we agreed on it. He cut away the flanges on both toilet openings, so the flooring installer can finish the work. Scott came down the next morning (Saturday) to install the new flanges and the toilets. I have to say, we were totally impressed with the professionalism and work that Scott and his son did on both days! Work was immaculate and cleaned up every speck of debris! We've had several plumbing companies in the 21 years here at our residence. We never expected such amazing service and prices from a plumber but they do exist and Thrasher Plumbing is definitely a keeper to call. This fantastic family run business exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them.

The job went great. The work was excellent. They were very responsive and fixed the problem quickly.

Placed the call 7pm the night before and never got a callback. Not a big deal though we haev used them before and they have responsed on weekends, nights etc. Sent 2 techs out who we had also met before. Very thorough, worked with the tech support people for the hot water tank. Even ran a snake through the vent (which is quite long) to make sure it was clear. After 2 hours they determined it was a blower assembly and the manufacturer would replace it under warranty. Never expected that!

They are excellent. I have used them for about 20 years. I will continue to use them.

I noticed the joint at the top of my (very old) water heater had started seeping water on Saturday and immediately started calling to find a plumber to replace it. Thrasher Plumbing and Heating was the first to respond, came by, gave me an estimate and scheduled the job for Monday. Thrasher arrived promptly on Monday morning and went to work. They put down pads to protect my floors (I don't have a bulkhead, so the old and new water heaters had to come through the house). In addition to replacing the water heater, Thrasher replaced the vent from the water heater and replaced a leaky valve on the water line in to the heater. After the installation was complete, he cleaned up the area and took a few minutes to explain how to adjust the temperature. From estimate to completion Thrasher was courteous and professional. I would gladly call Thrasher next time I need plumbing services.
