Description of Work: Fixed winter damage to front steps and generally fixed up mistakes made by mason who originally installed.

Description of Work: Phil's crew came and repointed our chimney and patched several concrete cracks. They arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again if I have the need for this type of services.

Description of Work: We had gotten many estimates for replacing our front steps and walkways which had caved in due to poor workmanship by Capozolli and Sons Masonry Construction,Lincoln RI. We hired Phil Darling Masonry who tore out the steps and walkways and replaced them with brick, bluestone and pavers. He and his father completed the job in less than a week. They did a fantastic job, it looks beautiful and the job was done the right way. Everything was measured precisely, and site preparation was top notch. They paid close attention to detail, gave us design and material ideas, were punctual and responsive, always returned my calls immediately, were very professional and neat with minimal landscape disruption and reasonably priced. Before hiring Phil Darling we interviewed and consulted with many masons, landscapers, masonry material companies, the town planner and others before going with Phil to insure making the right choice. He supplied us with the names of several references. One contractor who uses PD Masonry said " he is the best mason I ever used, does spectacular work and I promise you will be thrilled with his work". He definitely was right, we are thrilled with the quality workmanship and would totally recommend him. In fact we are planning on using him again next year for other masonry work. We have also received many positive comments from neighbors and friends about the job.
