it did not go well. Poor customer service all around
Description of Work: no customer service. Never called to say carpet in. installer didn't have enough carpet to finish job. took months to get more carpeting and then I had to call to fine out if it was in. Then carpeting didn't match. After 5 months of this we just fired Steven's. Don't want to deal with them

Terrible place. Jared was our salesperson and he was the worst ever. Sold us flooring, then the next day on the front page of the paper was an advertisement for 20% of any order at Stenes world of flooring. Called to ask for the price discount, and they refused. The big box stores would do this, but they flat out refused. We own several apartment buildings we are renovating , so I was surprised... Oh well... All our business goes elsewhere. I'm sick of trying to support the "little guy".... Now I go with the best price, no matter who it is... and it's almost always Home Depot! Sorry Stevens... you had your chance.

The price was dependent on the square footage. They did an excellent job. They were very knowledgable in what type of flooring is best for the house.
Description of Work: They put in the floor I wanted, removed the old rug, removed tiles, put in molding, moved furniture, etc.

Poor! See above for story.
Description of Work: Bad experience. Ordered flooring. We ordered three pieces (cut) from the same roll we received instead one large piece. When informed of this, their response was "oh", with no effort to offer to cut flooring as we requested. We picked up our flooring on Thursday evening and low and behold on Friday morning on the front page of the Berkshire Eagle we see Stevens has a sale on everything in the store 15 percent off. When asked if they would now honor the sale price, the salesman said "no, we bought before the sale". Of course we could have returned and rebought the product but didn't. We met about a week latter by accident in the parking lot and he said he would credit us... of course this never happened. Great salesman with poor service and follow through.
