carpet installation
 + -1 moreThe installation was done in a timely manner with minimum disruption. Within 12-18 months we noticed seams separating and rising. We visited Scott's and mentioned the problem and a representative came to our home for a personal inspection. Our home is built on a slab and as part of the installation a vapor barrier was supposed to be installed. We are not sure if that was done and if done was done properly. The Scott's representative confirmed we had problems with the seams but basically told us that there was nothing they could do. The problem was probably caused by humidity. In the ensuing years there has been an increase in the number of seams that are showing separation. Needless to say we are not happy, will most likely have the floors done again and will definitely not be using Scott's Carpet One.
Description of Work: Installed laminate flooring in all rooms of our house with the exception of the kitchen and bath.
