+ -1 moreWarning: Do not use this service! If you need pest control, there are several other options that are much better. I was a loyal customer for many years even though it was difficult to see that they made any difference. After I stopped service for a brief period, they charged me $250 for one visit. They typically show up for 5-10 minutes and charge over $100 each time. Another expert came and showed me all of the things that Orkin missed. Poor service and no loyalty.

Description of Work: When they came the service was fine. The problem was they billed me and I paid for service I did not get because I was not at home. Just make sure you are home when your service is done.

+ -1 moreI have had the same guy for 15 years. They have been good. I like Kevin, it is nice having the guy for 15 years. He has been to my house ever since I started with them.
Description of Work: I use Orkin. They come 4 times a year. I have carpenter ants.

+ -1 moreExperience was great! He was very personable, and took time to explain everything he would be doing before he sprayed. We have pets in our house, and he listened to our concerns about chemicals being around them and took that into consideration when spraying the house to ensure there would not any dangers for our pets.
Description of Work: He came to the house and sprayed the outside of our house for pests

Description of Work: I contacted the company twice - the first time was through their e-mail, but all I got was an e-mail from them saying they were having trouble reaching me. So I called and spoke to a woman who took a lot of information from me: address, house size, problem, phone number, etc. She said I would be contacted soon. That was November 11, 2011. Today is December 7, and I still have not received a call from them.

Description of Work: We had mice coming in. Orkin sent their south Berkshire County guy, Bill Burton who was really great. He sealed off areas in the interior where the mice were likely entering, put bait in shallow crawl space that is almost inaccessible and set traps outdoors. The mice never re-entered the kitchen and we stopped hearing them in the walls pretty much immediately. Bill also advised us about to get the exterior sealed up and that a mason might be the best type of contractor for the job. Bill was pleasant and professional. I was skeptical of calling a big name company like Orkin but was pleased that I got very personal service from start to finish.
