Description of Work: Hire them to do some remodeling and fix some water damaged plaster in the cellar. When he came I in August or September to look at the job he said "if you have $4000 to $5000 we are golden" I added new windows that he said would be about $1000, but still held that $5000 would be "golden". It took a month to get the windows in but they were great. Cost was $1350 about. They came a week later and knocked down a wall and stated "We would be better if stayed time and materials for the job. No Contract." I trusted him and agreed. The wall came down for $700 and that was fine. Then we waited and waited and waited for him to come back for the remodel. The electrician was a no show and we waited some more. We were patient because we loved his work in the past and he promised to do the entire job for $5000 (time and materials). Finally in December the electrician came for $900. Did a great job. Now Holy Grounds came in and took an entire day just to put up the new sheet rock. Came the next week and did most of the carpentry. Forced my wife to make out checks for $2200 and $900 for electrician. This all added up to over $5000 and we had no new floors, taping needed to be done completely and a whole list of items to make our cellar liveable. They just left with the money and said they would see us after the holidays. My wife felt so bad that all the money was gone and they didnt seem to care. The budget is spent and the work is 40% done. I text them to voice my dissapointment and he proceeded to tell me that he "didn't work for free" I said thank you for listening and indicated that I would like them to fix the kitchen floor like we discussed because only he could do it right. It is the end of January and we have not heard from them at all. I am doing the cellar fixes myself but they don't care enough to find out if I need help. Money changes people and this company thinks they are the best and can charge full prices for their labor.
