Clukey Construction

We hired Shawn Clukey Construction to build a thirty foot dormer over our garage. We were looking for someone with a vision and the confidence to tackle a project that involved demolition, framing, roofing and variety of others elements. Shawn and Neil delivered all of this elements plus more. They were professional in their habits, showing up on time, striving for perfection with their work and keeping the work area clean. What we like best is their easy going nature , the sincerity and their honesty. They did a great job and delivered what we asked. We are very happy with the outcome. If you are looking for a crew that are very professional, friendly, trust worthy and take pride in their work . These are the right guys for you. We will definitely hire them again.

We hired Shawn Clukey from Clukey Construction to build a slanted roof we needed before the winter snows. Shawn, completed the Roof along with several handyman jobs we also needed before winter in one day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Shawn was awesome! I got shafted by the contractor that my house buyer's had contacted, so I called Shawn and he was able to come and complete the work within a week. With the repairs affecting the closing of the sale of my house, that was critical. Great guys that did great work. I asked for an estimate for stripping and re-shingling the roof of my house. Their estimate came in at right about what I had figured it would be. They had excellent communication from start to finish. They were courteous and respectful as well. While they were redoing the roof, they also replaced/repaired a few other things that needed it while they were up there. The projects final cost came in at the same as the estimate. All in all, I am completely satisfied with how the job went from start to finish.

While replacing part of a roof was the main part of the job they did several other repair/replacement projects to help me prepare my house for sale. They were thorough and very helpful on a couple of "mystery" leak issues, offering very reasonable recommendations to fix them. I have already engaged them to fix another problem that we found. They are pleasant to work with and gave me a feeling of trust in their workmanship. I have already recommended them to others and would hire them again in the future.

The coordination was personal and direct, I only had to deal with one person. The quality of the work was excellent, the work areas were cleaned and they showed when they said they would show! Being a first time customer using HomeAdvisor I was a bit apprehensive and took a leap of faith. I was hoping to select a professional I could trust w/integrity & execellent craftmanship. He is fantastic! I called him for an estimate and then he called me back with a ball-park price which he ultimately stuck to. His work is out of this world and is just absolutely beautiful. He did what he told me he was going to and is the best contractor I've hired. I just can't say enough good things about him! I would highly recommend him.

He was very detail-oriented and his prices were great. After the work had been completed, he picked up after himself. Also, he is very conscientious: He kept checking to make sure I was a satisfied customer which in the end I was and still am.

These guys did great work. If it weren't for them being diligent and going out of their way to check everything for me (at no cost) I most likely wouldn't have known all the issues that needed fixing. They were willing to check things I never would have known to check. I'm definitely happy with the work they did and will be working with them again in the future.

If you want TRUSTworthy,considerate,Knowledgeable,think outside the box for odd jobs,that extra touch(not,I can't be bothered to do that) THESE are the guts you WANT to hire. They not only did a better job fixing & finishing the mess the other contractor started & left undone That he was paid for,They also could understand what i needed & went out of their way to do A GREAT job& save me $ at the same time..I should have hired them instead of the LOWE's contractor.

I contacted Mr. Clukey about a job we had to get done due to the deck was not up to code and needed a lot of work, I called Shawn and he had an estimate to me within 2 days. After we got the estimate from him we signed it, paid the up front costs and it was all set in about 2 weeks. I am very very thankful to have found Mr. Clukey and really appreciate his professionalism and responsiveness to my needs. I would hire him over and over again if needed. Over all it was a great experience working with Shawn and My problem went away. Thanks Shawn and home adviser for your continued efforts to help people out.

They did some framing work in the attic, they were pretty good. They did a good job, did what they said, on-time, real clean, and did a good job.
