Horrible. Abandoned project a year ago and won’t return calls now

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. He used deceptive practices and sub-contracted out our roof replacement without our knowledge. The roof immediately failed which caused leaking through 2 areas of the roof-into the kitchen ceiling and into 2 bedrooms on the top floor. He waited 4 days to come out to look at it, added roofing tar sealant to one section that was in the roof valley. He said he would have his roofers come out to look at the roof where the bigger leak was happening to find where the leak was coming from. HE NEVER FOLLOWED-UP. We had to file an insurance claim, tear out the walls and closet where the big leak was coming from and hire our own mason and roofers to locate the leak origin and to re-roof the part of the roof hip that was left EXPOSED (no shingles, and no underlayment under the part of the hip that was shingled) by the roofers. He also didn't flash the chimney - they lightly and poorly applied roofing tar sealant to the chimney as well. He loves taking your money, doing a quick job, and making money off poorly trained subs, but doesn't stand by his work; very shoddy quality and very dishonest. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Chris and his crew were awesome. They made quick work of replacing the roof fascia board for a side of my house that was rotted. Prompt, courteous, and professional. Definitely would recommend and hire again.

Chris has always been on top of things. We needed to have our retaining wall patched and the cracks in the chimney foundation and a gutter overhanging the back porch removed, otherwise our insurance would have been cancelled. Chris made the time to complete the job as quickly as possible. As usual, his crew of Chris, Will and his father were courteous and hard working. They completed all the items within half a day. If you ever need anything done quickly and well, Chris York Construction are the people you use. I can't say enough of his crew and work ethic. He goes above and beyond in every dept. He is always easy to get a hold of and is very responsive.

Our overall experience with Chris was excellent! His crew were very friendly and FAST! He repaired our roof within one day complete reshingling. He had his plumbing crew come in and install our new toilet and bathroom sink as well as a kitchen sink within one day. No fooling around, Chris and his crew are efficient, relaxed and friendly! He will give you any option you are looking for but more importantly he is always available for phone calls and is proactive in getting things where they need to be. If you need anything done, use this man and his crew! Excellent, excellent work!
