Description of Work: We used Wilson Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning Inc to install a mini splits. They did a wonderful job. After they put in the mini split, I had a painting on the wall and they asked where I would like it. They were wonderful. I mean really just great.

Description of Work: Wilson Bros. Heating & Air Conditioning responded very promptly to our e-mail inquiry via Angie's List regarding a request for an estimate on a multi-zone ductless A/C system installation. The appointment was scheduled for about a week out and the estimator showed up as planned. He was very professional and pleasant. He took measurements of the applicable areas in the home and provided manufacturer's specification documents on the equipment we were thinking about installing. He was knowledgeable about the applicable rebates. We received very detailed estimates by e-mail withing a few days of our meeting. Subsequent requests for additional information and revisions were handled very timely by the estimator and the office support staff. The whole team was very professional and efficient. However, the contractor's price was approx. 20% more expensive than the contractor we selected. Because of this fact and the fact that the service provider we chose was much more local, we did not select this contractor to do the installation project.

Description of Work: They installed Mitsubishi AC. They done on one part so bad, that system totally failed after only a few times using it. Instead of apologizing for their fault and fixing it, they sent us $480 bill for fixing. After sending a certified letter to one of the owners, nobody answered, nobody apologized for almost two years. The person on the phone was so rude and she tried to blame us for failing system. It is so unprofessional from company which claims as a leader in the installation.

Is it appropriate for us to get a grade of "F" for being unable to service somebody for whom we have no working relationship, and to do so during extreme weather conditions? We prioritize with existing customers and do what we can for other homeowners. With the demand in these New England winter weather conditions, we are simply unable to get to everyone. Wilson Brothers does believe that you, as a homeowner who has concern about your family and home, should be prepared for the servicing of your equipment. We suggest homeowners have a contract, or at least a company, in place for service when it is needed for your own protection. Having a service contract is worth every penny. Again, do we deserve an "F" rating for not being able to work for what would be a new customer in a cold snap? You answe that question yourself.
