Steve is a great guy, honest, & stands by his work. The quote he gave me was fair and covered parts, labor, installation, & removal of the old doors. No hidden costs and he didn’t try to upsell me any additional parts, like new openers. He gave me a date & time for the installation, showed up on time and installed them. Took him about 3 hours to replace 2 doors. We love the new doors & they look and work great. The last thing he said was to call him with any concerns, even if started squeaking & he would be there to fix it. He is very professional with many years of experience & provided excellent service. I would highly recommend him for all your garage door needs.

After another company came out and scratched their heads, Lowell overhead door came out (promptly) and knew what was needed right away. they ordered the parts, got back to me promptly and worked with my schedule to come out and do the repair. Nice people; professional and competent. They are my go-to company. I didn't shop around for price, but they seem reasonable for the work that was done.

Called for repair my Genie's garage door opener that could not close. They came by quick and determined that circuit board was gone bad and need to be replaced by a new opener. A new LiftMaster opener is replaced very quick and clean. All functions on the new system are better except only came with one remote control. I wish I could be told beforehand for anything less convenient (or has to pay extra to get back) comparing with old one. Anyway, they are a very trustful good company: Professional and providing a very quick and skillful service!

Excellent family team from start of estimate, to the install, beat other quotes easily. Would definitely use them again for services if needed in the future.

Awesome!! No high pressure sales pitch. Provided options, we selected what we wanted and even replaced the openers. It’s been a month and couldn’t be happier with the doors and openers. Great work. One day in and out and they hauled away everything.

Simply wonderfully. 2-person team came out to make the estimate. (They volunteered to do it via sending photos, but happened to be in the area.) Showed me options courteously safely and distanced. Received the quote the same evening, and the next day, scheduled it via email to take place when the doors were in stock. Received a call when they were in, and they were able to schedule me in just a couple days later. It was the dead of winter and about zero degrees out, but the two-man team had these beasts installed (and the old ones removed) all during daylight hours. What an absolute treat to have whisper-quiet garage doors, too. Fab quality, excellent workmanship, great service. I wish I had another garage so they could replace those doors too.

I had a broken spring which prevented the garage door from operating. The team replaced the springs quickly, without me even having to move the car! All the work was explained to me, as well as future maintenance clarified. Both the specialists were courteous, professional, and masked! Would absolutely hire again and recommend.

Sept 14/20 a plain white van pulled my driveway.I asked him if he was from Lowell Garage Door.He replied he was contracted out.That he was a subcontractor SCAM!!! I was skeptical but let him proceed.He was never contracted by Lowell Garage Door they do not do that.Tuesday a white van pulled in my driveway with very large lettering Lowell Garage Door.After explaining what happened we we were all angry.I was charged triple the cost and everything was was not fixed as the man did not know how to.Stephen the owner of LGD knew exactly the problem and fixed it in 10 minutes. Embarrassed I didn't asked for ID.Thank you Stephen from Lowell Garage Door.Lets work to end these SCAM artist. Gail

I loved how quickly Stephen got back to me with any questions I had. Great communication back and forth on explaining the products and all the various options. From estimating to installation – he was quick and efficient. I'm so happy with my new garage doors.

Stephen and his son Justin did a fantastic job on this install. They are very professional and courteous. Came to my house and got right to work. Stephen made sure that he knew everything I wanted done. End result is two whisper quiet belt driven units. They also lubed up all parts and replaced some springs that were worn. My garage was cleaned up and all materials disposed of. I would recommend them to anyone, including my neighbor who they went to see after my job was complete and are helping him now! Thanks guys!

Great ! The cost was less than quoted because he found that we need only one spring. Also lubed the entire mechanism and adjusted the garage door light holder since it was not working

My garage door wouldn't open because a spring broke and the pulley was jammed. I couldn't go anywhere because the door wouldn't open. Lowell Overhead Doors showed up at my house within a few hours... I was told I was lucky he was in the area. Steve and Justin finished the work in about 30 minutes. A++ ... would definitely use them again.

Steve and his son contacted me immediately and arrived as scheduled to provide an estimate. They were very personable and knowledgeable concerning the project and door products they carry. I was very comfortable working with them. The doors were ordered after Steve promptly answered the questions I had. I received a call from them and the doors were installed the day after they arrived. I couldn't be happier. They doors were very affordable, look great and the process could not have been easier.

Garage spring broke trapping my car inside. Steve came by that evening just to see about freeing my car. A day later they replaced spring but also tuned up the garage door opener system. Real nice guys. Reasonably priced. Superior company. Highly recommend.

Scheduling was immediate, Justin and Steve arrived on-time and got right to work. They were professional and knowledgeable. Justin fixed the problem within minutes and provided maintenance recommendations to keep the door lubricated throughout the year. While here, they also helped me with the temperamental keypad. Steve had that working quickly (and trained me not to press the numbers so hard!). Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Steve Nelson was very prompt in replying to my request for a quote to install a new overhead garage door. He was very thorough in explaining the door options and installation process and gave a very reasonable quote. He came on time at the agreed date and was very efficient in installing it with his co-worker. He left everything in clean and good order. I would definitely hire him to do any future garage work.

Very responsive and availability was great. No pressure sales and used existing rails that were in good condition. Gave good advice on how to maintain the door to extend the life and said to contact with any issues that come up. I would recommend Lowell Overhead Door to others with no reservations.

These guys are great! I had a problem with the sprocket and photosensors for my garage door. Stephen Nelson got back to me within a few hours and came out and fixed it at a reasonable price. They not only fixed they also adjusted the spring on my other garage door at no extra cost. They walked through the problem thoroughly and recommended regular maintenance tasks that I should do on my own to insure the life of the garage door.

Excellent! Karen set up an appointment for me for the same day I called. Steve arrived to review what was needed and provide a quote. I thought I might need a new garage door as well, but Steve said the door looked fine. Just the opener and associated hardware required. Steve and Justin arrived on-time the following day, and installed the garage door opener. Huge improvement over the old opener. They also worked with me to program the new opener to my vehicle. And the work was completed in one hour. I would have paid for a new garage door if I was told it was needed. I very much appreciate the honesty, and the cost to install the new opener was very fair.
