Bill was quite responsive to my many questions and helpful in guiding me on my journey. His ideas were unique and we received from me and my wife. He was willing to listen to me and explain in great detail the products. When he said he would be around he was and it he was running a bit late he informed me. They helped me save a lot of money by not pressuring me to buy now and telling me about upcoming product sales. I got a much higher quality product by waiting for the pending sales for almost the same cost. Came to house to ensure measurements would work, actually came by several times to see the space and make sure ideas would work. Was at the house to receive and inspect products as they came off the truck. Bill and his wife assisted us in deciding on flooring as well. They offered opinions and took into account the colors and styles that would complement our cabinets. Experience was so good that I expect to go back to him for a large carpet purchase as I finish my complete house remodel. Was nervous about past reviews and negative comments but decided to talk to him and it paid off.

The first time I went to the showroom, it was closed even though the time was a good two hours before the closing time posted on the door and their website. I went back the next weekend and they were open. Bill seemed like a nice guy when I went to visit his showroom, which wasn't much to look at but he did state that it was "under construction." Anyway, his raved about the Waypoint cabinets -- said that they were great cabinets and you couldn't beat the quality for the price. He came out to my house to do the measurements, etc. the next week. He bragged about how I would get such a great price on the cabinets and a week or so later emailed me an estimate -- I was surprised that it seemed so high and that the cabinets he quoted for me were the bottom level products from Waypoint -- they have four levels of cabinets and the ones he wanted to sell me for the money was basically the entry level product. I thought maybe I just didn't realize that these cabinets really do cost that much but after going to other dealer's showrooms I discovered that all the other dealers were a LOT cheaper than Kitchens Floors And More. The process of selecting my cabinets took me probably two months, if not more. After a few weeks Bill emailed me wanting to know why I hadn't placed an order with him. He got very upset when I mentioned that I was going to other kitchen places -- apparently he thought I should only visit his showroom and nobody else's and buy from him right away. At this point he said I was dumb if I went with someone else without checking out the designs he had drawn up for my kitchen. I should say that my kitchen is a very small galley style kitchen -- it did not require any fabulous designs -- there's only so much you can do with the small amount of space I have. I had found out that other Waypoint dealers were offering freebies like free delivery, free hardware, etc. He acted stunned and amazed at this and asked where I got this information from. I did not buy my kitchen cabinets from Kitchens Floors And More. I found their prices to be way higher than any other Waypoint dealer that I visited and I thought the owner just felt that everyone should buy cabinets from him, period.

I would love to provide a lot of fun details here, but the owner has threatened me with legal action. Here are the facts: Bill designed and provided the cabinets for us. Bill recommended a carpenter who works out of his shop to install the cabinets. We met him, liked him, and agreed. The carpenter who we met was not available when our cabinets arrived form the factory. Bill recommended a different carpenter. Said this man was "as good as (the guy we met)" We believed Bill and agreed to hiring this unseen contractor From day one, this new contractor was unprofessional in conduct and lacked the skills of a finish carpenter I complained to Bill. Bill said the project was not finished. To wait until it is finished. It didn't get better. It got worse. Bill defended this contractor work, which was clearly sub par. Bill never came to check the work for the carpenter he vouched for. Bill offered to send the carpenter out to fix it. Me, not wanting this hack back in my home, decline Bill's offer and fixed the errors myself. Bill's stance is that because he offered to "make it right" and I declined that I have no right to complain. I understand that just a little. But Bill's refusal to acknowledge any responsibility for "selling" us a bad carpenter is just unacceptable. Kitchens, Floors and More is a good group of guys. Bill is undoubtedly talented and has a good eye for kitchen design. Just be wary of the small details when you get into bed with him and the guys he recommends.
