We had a great experience and it was a lot of fun to dream of what the house could look like. We went through 20 concept versions, some similar, some very different from one another. Jane and Bob were a pleasure to work with. The job was done very quickly and both are extremely professional. We really enjoyed working with them.

I guess I expected more. He didn't seem to have any more options than I had had. He said he would come up with three options. He took my floor plan and the next day he emailed me three floor plans. They all depended on getting more info. about the plumbing, wether the wall was load bearing etc. I guess I expected pictures or more detail. He seemed puzzled and depressed . I don't think it was 3/i/2 hours of work. I'm sorry I paid the $150.

He was punctual, professional, pleasant. Has not seen the final work yet so not sure, but so far a positive experience.

It went really well. He was very accommodating to get me my first appointment. He came on time and spent the three and half hours doing the project at my home.

We had purchased a big deal, and it was good. They were nice and they were on time. He didn't know all the laws of the town, and he didn't know if there were some things that he could do and others that he couldn't.

Actually it went well. We now have the plans.my only complaint was that I had to print out the plans myself. No blueprints were delivered.

Provider was prompt in their communication, however they were not able to provide service for me.

It was very good. They came immediately, but then it took eight or ten days for them to give us a rough drawing of the entire interior of the house. Then after that they came over and gave us the final copy. It took about 15 days altogether. There were extra charges. They measured everything and they look at every part of the house, like all the beams and columns. They also looked at the basement. The quality of their work was very good and their responsiveness was not a problem. The only concern I had was that our contractor had a hard time understanding one of the architects. Their punctuality was very good and they were very professional.

It worked out overall quite well. We were happy with the services they provided and the only thing is that they were upfront with the additional cost beyond the big deal. I think we were just quite cleared out as far as specifying exactly what indeed to be done so ended up costing bit more than we were actually anticipating, but they had told us what it would be by the hour and such after the big deal purchase. The quality of the work was great and stuff like that. The initial communication weren't very good, the only thing was when the architect left after walking to our house we should have been more proactive as far as determining what exactly he was going to be doing additionally beyond just to walk through and how long that might take and that would have given us better idea as far as what additional charges we would be incurring. I would use them again.

Their service is good. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Their pricing is reasonable. They are very prompt, and they follow-up very well.

It went exceptionally well. They were professional and worked with us effectively and efficiently. It was a very good working relationship, we would use them again.

We very much enjoyed working with them. They both have good personalities to work with. They were able to get great resources for us, and were able to keep everything within code and legal for us.

As a young, single, female homeowner of a unique Queen Anne Victorian, I?ve had a bit of difficulty finding the right people for the job, even with the helpful services of Angie's List. However, I would definitely hire this firm if I had architectural work in the future. The President of Artios Architects, Jane Estella-Minias, was very accomodating in scheduling my appointment; I live near Worcester and work long hours mon-fri near Burlington, and Ms. Estella-Minias graciously offered a Saturday appointment to come look at my problem. Ms. Estella and her associate arrived at my home on time and ready to work. After listening to me describe as much as I could and thoroughly looking at the problem (70+ yr. old incorrectly built brick porch foundation on very steep hill), Ms. Estella immediately informed me that my situation was not architectural and they could not be of service but she could provide me with several references of firms that might be able to help. I said this is exactly what I was hoping for because my calls to multiple structural engineers had gone unreturned or resulted in ?Sorry, we can?t do it and don?t know who can?. Ms. Estella?s associate, I forget his name, was incredibly forthcoming with his thoughts, describing several potential solutions and gave me a detailed sketch of one example in particular. I am very grateful for the time Artios Architects took to seriously evaluate my problem and provide me with as much information as they could. I was impressed by their professionalism and, in particular, by how much they listened to me. They told me immediately that this was not their area of expertise but really empathized with my unique problem and spent time trying to help me as much as they could. Without question, I would hire them for any architectural project.

We are currently working with them on some plans for renovation. We are very satisfied. They were prompt in getting in touch with us to set up a consultation and to come out and take a look at what we were talking about. They were very good about offering us a variety of different plans to consider when we were looking at the renovation. There was even one other possibility that we hadn't considered and they drew up yet another set of plans for us. Yesterday we had a sort of final meeting and we are going to go ahead and have them draw up the building plans for us to be able to take to a contractor. They are very nice; they seem to know what they are doing. They had answers to our questions and were able to offer us a lot of different suggestions in terms of what we were looking at. We have been very satisfied with them so far. We are not done working with them yet, as far as we have been working with them we have been very satisfied. For the consultation it cost us $950. We had an Angie's List coupon for $150 for three and a half hour consultation which is half priced. There was an additional $800 for the drawing up of the proposals and things like that; so all totaled that was about $950. So we saved that already. To draw up the architectural plans for the builders it is going to be $2000. I just sent them the retainer; it is a go ahead to start the architectural building plan. The retainer was a $1000.

Excellent design. Prompt delivery of plans. Excellent execution in every detail of the construction process.

Two architects came to my home to review proposed renovations, took measurements, calculated possible costs for construction, and additional architect’s service. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful.
