New Generation Landscaping & Fence

I gave them a deposit on 11/2/21 via check for work to start on 11/19/21. On 11/7/21, I decided I'd rather wait until spring to do the work. Now, they are NOT returning my deposit in spite of telling me they will. I've texted them three times and am now sending a letter requesting my money back. It's been over two months and I am still chasing them. As of today, they have NOT responded to a BBB complaint!

Elder was great to work with, he did a thorough walk through to ensure he knew exactly what we needed done, and then was quick to send over an accurate estimate. The work was done on time, on budget, with no issues. I appreciated their flexibility to do a little more than we originally discussed, and the crews' ability to remove the old fence, cut down trees/stumps as needed, and work around any potential issues was very important. I would definitely recommend NewGen for any Fence + Landscaping needs.

Went well, there were no problems, they did a good job.

Elder and his team were very timely and professional. They did an excellent job cleaning up my property, replacing a mulched area with gravel, and making sure everything was cleaned up and done very professionally. Their service was very quick as well.

We are getting this property ready to sell and it has been overgrown for several years. Elder was very specific about what he could do within our time and price range. We met three times to go over the job. He and his crew did an excellent job. The front yard especially looks great. The trees and bushes were trimmed nicely and all looks clean and professional. The areas on the sides and back yard were overgrown with weeds and they cleaned them out being careful to protect the blackberry patch, lilac bushes and Lilly plants. They placed existing flag stones in a nice walkway from the back door to a small incline on the side of the blackberry bushes. On the left side of the house next to the driveway they cleaned out the invasive vines wrapped around several large bushes and trees. We can now see and have access to beautiful trees, holly & rose bushes that have been nicely trimmed. We will now need to plant new grass and flowers in some of the areas cleared away,

New Generation Landscaping led by Elder and his landscapers William & Thomas were excellent to deal with. Great communication, extremely polite gentlemen. Hard workers. Yard looks terrific. Having a little issue with some area of sod. Elder has been back multiple times to check on it and we continue to watch the situation. I will definitely be hiring them again for more yard jobs we want to do. I highly recommend Elder and his company.

Sod went in well and so did planting and mulching. Loam and overseeding was spotty. One area was done well and came in nicely but the bulk of the seeding was very light and patchy. Putting the same amount of seed consistently across all the new loam would have made for a much better end result. The new loam with minimal seed now just looks like larger patches than when we started the project. Also the mulch delivery truck left three large light color scrape marks in my new driveway. Accidents happen but no one acknowledged and/or apologized. Contacted Elder about looking at the seeding issue and he said he would stop by to which he no showed. Tried to contact a couple more times and he just ignored me. He seems like a good enough guy but depending on your project YMMV. For the money spent, I would not recommend to someone else.

I would highly recommend using New Generation Landscaping and Fence. Elder Juarez is very professional, called me back promptly and came out to my house on the date we agreed upon, on time, for my quote. His team placed a vinyl fence, stone/hardscaping and lawn fertilization. My front yard looks awesome. I would definitely use their services again.
